Hybrid solar water distillation system : A techno-economic study
The paper presents a techno-economic model to evaluate the performance of a hybrid solar still. For this, three different sources of auxiliary energy, namely electricity, kerosene, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) have been considered. To appreciate the model, numerical calculations have also been made using prevailing prices of different fuels in the Indian market for the climate of Delhi, India
Transient simulation studies on a multi-stage stacked tray solar still
This paper presents a computer simulation model for studying the transient performance of a multi-stage stacked tray solar still. The model is validated against the results of simulated experiments on a three-stage solar still having electric heater as the heating source. In order to appreciate the developed model, numerical calculations have been made to evaluate the performance of the system heated by a solar collector corresponding to the typical climate of Delhi, India. Effects of number of stages and ratio of collector area to the bottom tray area (Ac/Ab,1) on the distillate output have also been studied corresponding to the average days of the coldest and hottest months in Delhi
Cost optimisation studies on a multi-stage stacked tray solar still
In the present paper a techno-economic analysis of a multii-stage stacked tray (MSST) solar still coupled with a solar collector has been developed. The thermal model developed earlier by the authors for predicting the system performance has been used here also; the model considers transient heat and mass transfer processes within the solar still. The economic analysis is based on the life-cycle costing of the system, taking into account the capital and maintenance costs of the system for estimating the cost of unit mass of distilled water. The techno-economic alaysis presented shows that the system parameters need to be optimized, resulting in the minimum cost of distilled water. As an illustration, results of numerical calculations for the climate of Delhi, India, are presented in the paper
Estimation of hourly ambient temperature data from its daily averages for India
In the present paper, the suitability of the correlation developed by Erbs et al. (1983) for estimating hourly average
values of the ambient air temperature from its daily averages has been examined for India. The study indicates that
the correlation needs modification. In this regard, the data for hourly values of the ambient air temperature for 47
locations in India have been analysed and modified correlations obtained
راجندر سنگھ بیدی مثبت طرزِفکر کا افسانہ نگار: Rajendra Singh Bedi is a poet of positive thinking
Rajendra Singh Bedi as a fiction writer does not need any praise. His valuable services in Urdu fiction writing. Due to his literary creations, he has a unique and distinguished position among his contemporary fiction writers. Since our query was that Rajendra Singh Bedi A unique way of thinking is found in the legends of Singh Bedi, therefore, in the proposed paper, an attempt has been made to highlight the way of thinking by conducting a research and critical review of his six fictional collections. In his legends, many dimensions of the unique way of thinking have been shown gives.
If we talk about Bedi's fiction, Bedi has made the life of the common people of Indian society the subject. Because of this, the characters are not fictional but live a real life. In his fiction, gender is portrayed in a very positive way. has been presented. Reading these fictions increases faith in man and humanity. They have presented real life after deep observation and thought. This is the reason why despite writing less than some fiction writers, they are legendary. They have a unique position in literature. In terms of positive and unique way of thinking, this subject is important in the future for its scope and understanding of all aspects of life

Indoor-outdoor testing of solar thermal collectors in India
In the present paper, the results of indoor and outdoor testing of the solar collectors have been presented, together with the details of the test facility; the results are seen to be matching reasonably well
L’analisi tecnica mette a confronto 3 kit a collettori solari piani vetrati e altri 3 kit a collettori evacuati.
Transient simulation studies on a conventional hybrid photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) air heating collector
In the present investigation, the authors have developed a computer simulation model for predicting the transient
performance of a conventional photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) air heating collector with single- and double-glass conÞgurations.
In order to appreciate the model, numerical calculations have been made to evaluate the system performance
corresponding to typical climate of Delhi, India. It has been observed that the hybrid PV/T systems are interesting in
respect to system e¦ciencies, however, their adaptability in future must be weighed in terms of cost e¤ectiveness of these
systems
Distribution of ambient air temperature with monthly average clearness index for India
In the present paper, houly values of ambient air temperature avialable for 47 locations in India have been analysed, and then the new values of constants for the correlation developed by Erbs et al. (1983) have been obtained. The modified correlations generate more accurate values of the monthly average of the hourly values of the ambient temperature
