No full textThe Author describes the main contributions of the philosopher Antonio Rosmini to the development of family law in the Modern Age. Antonio Rosmini interacts with the most important philosophical perspectives of his time, particularly English and German philosophers. He seems to follow a liberal framework, in which the key formulas are ownership and marriage, but also the dignity of man. The Author describes the achievements of Rosmini’s thinking, but also its limitations that derive from the very concept of ownership. Ownership is crucial to the idea of liberty (freedom), but is silent when it comes to non negotiable rights. Rosmini’s position on the heated debated about the secularisation of marriage is very interesting. He criticises the famous pronouncement of Portalis, who presented the issue as a question of equality. According to Rosmini, this point of view was too abstract and refutes the religious root of marriage. Moreover, it creates a moral conflict, on one hand, loyalty to the state law governing marriage and on the other hand, loyalty to religious rules of marriage. Since the two frameworks of rules can be different and, in fact, are different concerning important aspects, spouses experience a divided conscience. This observation may have relevance today when the state law of marriage tends to conceive of marriage in a way that creates a significant divide from the religious concept of marriage

La rivista ha carattere scientifico e pubblica sia la comunicazioni presentate dai soci AIVI nel Convegno Nazionale che si tiene ogni anno sia brevi comunicazioni che i soci ritengono utile inviare alla stampa.
I campi di interesse sono limitati agli alimenti di origine animale come carne e prodotti a base di carne, latte e derivati e prodotti della pesca, uova e ovoprodotti, miele...
Vengono trattati argomenti a carattere microbiologico. chimico ed è particolarmente curata la ricerca di pericoli che possono essere presenti neglli alimenti al fine di migliorare la sicurezza alimentare.
La rivista è rivolta non solo ai soci AIVI ma anche a tutti coloro che operano nel campo degli alimenti come veterinari dipendenti pubblici (ALS, IZS) o veterinari liberi professionisti che operano nel settore privato (industrie alimentari)

No full textLa verdad es un valor en cualquier forma que la tome, incluso si la mentira y la corrupción son frecuentes en nuestra sociedad. Sin embargo, después de los estudios de Piaget, a la Pedagogía del Error le gusta estar en creciente evaluación. ¿Puede el error ser educativo?
Rosmini analiza, en su filosofía, el valor de la verdad, el error y el aprendizaje en un propósito metafísico y evolutivo. Este filósofo acepta la necesidad de la psicología y la consideración lógica en el aprendizaje. Tanto la psicología como el método lógico son necesarios para crecer intelectual y personalmente. The Philosophical Works by Antonio Rosmini in English Translation
No full textAntonio Rosmini is the author of a philosophical system centered on the concept of being. Being is finite or infinite, and is understood by the human being in three modes—ideal being (the ideas it entertains), real being (the things it sees around itself), and moral being (its free and intelligent actions). Always taking the point of view of ontology, Rosmini wrote his own logic, metaphysics, theory of cognition, ethics, anthropology, philosophy of right, and philosophy of politics. But his studies extended also into mathematics, theology, law, education, and many other sciences. His system provides thus a sort of encyclopaedia of wisdom. The aim of this paper is to inform on Rosmini’s life and thought (sections I, II, and VIII) and to provide an extensive review of the works by Rosmini on theory of cognition (section III), ethics (section IV), philosophy of right (section V), and philosophy of society (section VI) that have been translated to date into English by the Reverends Denis Cleary and Terence Watson at the Rosmini House in Durham

No full textFunctions of veterinarians in the context of food safety assurance have changed
very much in the last ten years as a consequence of new legislation. The aim of this review
is to evaluate the management tools in veterinary public health that shall be used in
response to the actual need and consider some possible key performance indicators. This
review involved an examination of the legislation, guidelines and literature, which was then
discussed to analyse the actual need, the strategies and the procedures with which the public
veterinary service shall comply. The management of information gathered at different
stages of the food chain, from both food production operators and veterinary inspectors
operating in primary production, food processing and feed production should be exchanged
and integrated in a database, not only to produce annual reports and plan national sampling
plans, but also to verify and validate the effectiveness of procedures and strategies
implemented by food safety operators to control risks. Further, the surveillance data from
environmental agencies and human epidemiological units should be used for assessing risks
and addressing management options
