Rapid digital transformation and increasingly complex consumer behavior demand new approaches in marketing strategies. To address this issue, this study examines the effect of innovation and digital marketing on the marketing performance of MSMEs in Banten Province, Indonesia, and introduces the New CX Marketing Advantages model, which offers an innovative framework to improve marketing performance, particularly for MSMEs. This study employs a quantitative approach to small and medium enterprises operating in KBLI-10 or the food industry in Banten Province. Through multistage sampling using purposive and proportional random sampling methods, 347 MSME actors were identified as respondents in this study. Data were collected using survey methods and analysed using simple and multiple linear regression involving three stages: instrument testing (validity and reliability tests) and hypothesis testing through structural equation modelling (SEM) with data processing techniques utilising the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) measurement model. The results show that digital marketing and innovation have a positive and significant effect on marketing performance, both partially and simultaneously. Therefore, this study implies that the more MSMEs engage in innovation and enhance digital marketing efforts, the greater is the opportunity to improve their marketing performance

    No full text
This research investigates the intricate relationships between Environmental Management Control Systems (EMCS), Blockchain Adoption (BCHA), Cleaner Production (CLPR), Product Efficiency (PROD), Environmental Reputation (ENRE), and Environmental Performance (ENPE) within organizational contexts in Indonesia. The study aims to shed light on the role of technology adoption, sustainability practices, and reputation management in shaping environmental outcomes. Methodologically, the research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing survey data from diverse organizations. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analyzes the data and tests the hypothesized relationships. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between EMCS and BCHA, EMCS and CLPR, EMCS and PROD, BCHA and CLPR, BCHA and PROD, and BCHA and ENRE. Cleaner Production demonstrates a substantial positive impact on both ENRE and ENPE. Product Efficiency influences ENRE positively. However, the direct influence of PROD on ENPE is found to be inconclusive. The study contributes to understanding sustainability dynamics by highlighting the pivotal roles of EMCS, BCHA, CLPR, and PROD in driving environmental reputation and performance within organizations. Furthermore, it underscores the significance of aligning perceived reputation with tangible environmental commitment. Limitations include potential data constraints and the challenge of establishing causality due to the study's correlational nature. Future research is encouraged to explore diverse contexts, conduct in-depth case studies, and investigate moderating variables. This research offers novel insights into the complex interplay between technology adoption, sustainability practices, reputation management, and environmental outcomes, providing valuable guidance for organizations striving to navigate the sustainability landscape in an era of heightened environmental awareness

MSMEs in Banten tend to have marketing strategies that are less flexible in facing market changes. The rapid development of digital technology and increasingly complex consumer behavior requires a new marketing approach. To overcome this problem, this research examined how digital marketing and market orientation can influence the competitive advantage of MSMEs in Banten. This research used a quantitative approach with a population of 3.174 MSME enterprises engaged in KBLI-10 or the food industry in Banten Province. Through multistage sampling with purposive sampling and proportional random sampling methods, 347 MSME actors were identified as respondents in this study. Data were collected using a survey/questionnaire method and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. The results showed that digital marketing and market orientation positively and significantly affected competitive advantage, both partially and simultaneously. Therefore, this research implies that the more MSMEs focus on increasing digital marketing efforts and market orientation, the greater the opportunity to improve the competitive advantage of MSMEs in Banten Province. Keywords: Digital Marketing; Market Orientation; MSMEs (Micro, Small,                         and Medium Enterprises)

Political economy of policy reform in Turkey in the 1980s

Turkey's adjustment experience was a tremendous success in terms of structurally reorienting the economy. The share of output for export rose from 5 percent in 1979 to 23 percent in 1989, and real output roughly doubled. The financial markets opened and have developed depth and sophistication. The program failed to reduce fiscal deficits, inflation, income inequality, and the size of the inefficient public enterprise sector, but the transformation of trade and finance fundamentally altered the context of the problems, changing their effects on the private sector and changing the government's options for dealing with them. The first phase of economic adjustment was sustained, although not initiated, in an authoritarian context, but the Turks restored democracy when the agenda for reform was incomplete. The Motherland Party (ANAP) won office on the platform of economic success and eventally lost partly because of the failure of economic policy. ANAP's electoral defeat in 1991 did not mean, however, the demise of the pro-structural adjustment or the pro-liberalization coalitions. The long period of ANAP rule helped consolidate reforms to such a degree that all of the principal parties agreed on a broadly similar economic program. The ideological differences between the left and the right - a state-directed versus a marked-oriented economy - substantially diminished. The reforms of the early 1980s greatly reduced the importance of rent-seeking, particularly through foreign trade, but patronage politics became widespread again in the second half of the decade. The initial strength ANAP derived from privileged access to state resources progressively became a disadvantage, creating resentment and reaction among the populace. One source of discontent was the over-invoicing of exports (that is, fictitious exports), designed to take advantage of favorable export subsidies, and the government's failure to discipline or penalize the companies involved. This jeopardized attempts to build a pro-export coalition, and some key features of import substitution continued. The authors attribute the failure of Turkey's macroeconomic policies in the late 1980s to the government's failure tocultivate popular support for macroeconomic stability; to the top bureaucrats'lack of autonomy to counteract political pressures to expand the fiscal deficit; and to the continuation of top-down individualistic linkages between policymakers and key economic interests.National Governance,Parliamentary Government,Politics and Government,Environmental Economics&Policies,Economic Theory&Research

At many architecture and planning schools, in the first year there is a compulsory course on basic design in which Fundamentals of abstract representation of reality in 2D and 3D are taught. In general, the basic design course introduces Gestalt theory and its principles of design. Although this is a basic introductory course, the content is usually not properly organized. Links to the theory are generally weak, and it is frequently offered intuitively, leaving students confused in most cases. This article first explores different approaches used in basic design education at a number of universities. Second, the learning process and studio environment are discussed. Finally, an attempt is made to provide a coherent framework for basic design course
