    Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) adalah fasilitas di darat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi lalu lintas kapal, melindungi kehidupan manusia di laut, dan melestarikan lingkungan laut dalam zona operasional yang ditentukan. Keselamatan lalu lintas kapal di Selat Sunda, jalur perairan yang sibuk dan sempit di Indonesia, merupakan isu penting yang memerlukan penerapan dan peningkatan VTS yang efektif, yang memantau dan memandu kapal untuk mencegah kecelakaan dan melindungi lingkungan. Namun, Merak VTS menghadapi tantangan faktor manusia yang perlu mendapat perhatian. Merak VTS menghadapi tantangan dari operator VTS bersertifikat dan kesadaran kapal lokal dan memiliki potensi perbaikan dalam peningkatan keselamatan dan layanan bernilai tambah. Penelitian ini menganalisis situasi terkini dalam sistem Rotterdam VTS untuk belajar dari praktik dan pengalaman terbaik Rotterdam VTS untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan nilai tambah di Merak. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah operator VTS bersertifikat dan kesadaran kapal lokal dengan keberadaan VTS, sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah rekomendasi peningkatan keselamatan VTS Merak dan layanan bernilai tambah. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam baik di Merak VTS maupun Rotterdam VTS dan kuesioner kepada ABK kapal kecil berbendera Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kode kualitatif dan statistik deskriptif. Diskusi kelompok terfokus digunakan untuk menentukan implementasi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan faktor manusia di Merak berasal dari kurangnya pendidikan dan pengetahuan nautik pada operator VTS Merak serta kurangnya pemahaman informasi dan prosedur dari ABK kapal kecil berbendera Indonesia. Pembelajaran dari Rotterdam VTS pada operator VTS bersertifikat adalah pemanfaatan e-learning untuk pelatihan dasar VTS, pelatihan dasar nautik, dan pelatihan sektor. Pelajaran yang dapat diambil untuk menyadarkan kapal-kapal lokal adalah penerbitan peta dan buku panduan pelabuhan serta sanksi denda bagi kapal-kapal yang tidak menjaga komunikasi dengan VTS. Hasil focus group discussion (FGD) menghasilkan seluruh pembelajaran yang diperoleh dapat diimplementasikan di VTS Merak dengan rentang waktu yang berbeda-beda. ============================================================================================================================= The Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) is a land-based facility that aims to enhance safety and efficiency in vessel traffic, safeguard human life at sea, and preserve the marine environment within its designated operational zone. Vessel traffic safety in Sunda Strait, a busy and narrow waterway in Indonesia, is a critical issue that requires the effective implementation and improvement of VTS, which monitors and guides the vessels to prevent accidents and protect the environment. However, Merak VTS encounters human factor challenges that warrant attention. Merak VTS faces challenges from certified VTS operators and local vessels’ awareness and has potential for improvement in safety enhancement and value-added service. This research analyzing the current situation in Rotterdam VTS systems to learn from Rotterdam VTS best practices and experience to enhance Merak's safety and added value. The independent variables use in this research area certified VTS operator and local vessels’ awareness and the dependent variable is recommendation for Merak VTS safety improvement and value-added service. The data collection in this research is by doing in-depth interview both in Merak VTS and Rotterdam VTS and questionnaire for the deck officers for Indonesia small vessels. The data analysed using qualitative code analysis and statistic descriptive. Focus group discussion is used to determine to implementation of lessons learned. The result show that human factor challenges in Merak come from lack of education and nautical knowledge in Merak VTS operator and the lack of information and procedure understanding from deck officers’ Indonesian small vessels. The lessons learned from Rotterdam VTS in certified VTS operator are the use of e-learning for basic VTS training, basic nautical training, and sector training. The lessons learned for local vessels’ awareness are the publication of chart and port guide book ant fine sanction for the vessels who fail to maintain the communication with the VTS. The focus group discussion resulted that all of the lessons learned can be implemented in Merak VTS with different time frame

    New student enrollment plays an important role at school in both managing the new student data and facilitating the prospect students in undertaking new student enrollment at SMP Negeri (Public Junior High School) 2 Plaosan. It leads the SMP Negeri 2 Palosan to make a new student enrollment program in new school year and it is expected to apply for the new generation of student. Purpose of this research is development new student enrollment system information. The making of this system has the step for designing analysis the needs of the system, implementation and testing. Designing for this system use UML with PHP code and YII framework. Conclusion of the research is that new student enrollment information system at SMP Negeri 2 Plaosan has been created.     The Role of Merak Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) in the Implementation of Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) in Sunda Strait

    Merak Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) is pivotal in Indonesia's critical maritime traffic network, particularly within the bustling Sunda Strait. This waterway holds immense strategic importance, serving as the primary link between Java and Su-matra Islands and intersecting with the vital Indonesian Archipelago Sea Lane. The Indonesian Government implemented a Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) in July 2020 to enhance safety and navigation. Despite three years of TSS implementation, concerns persist regarding compliance and safety within the Sunda Strait. This research employs qualitative methods to address these concerns, chiefly in-depth interviews with VTS operators. The overarching objective is to gain profound insights into the intricacies of TSS implementation and the array of challenges it faces. The findings reveal several significant challenges. These include the lack of robust law enforcement and insufficient socialisation efforts regarding TSS regulations, concerns related to weather conditions impacting maritime operations, limitations in VHF radio modulation affecting communication, and issues surrounding vessel compliance with directives from VTS operators. In light of these challenges, future recommendations should prioritise strengthening law enforcement mechanisms, intensifying educational initiatives, improving communication technology, enhancing weather monitoring capabilities, and exploring ways to strengthen vessel compliance with VTS instructions.
