El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el marco técnico-científico obtenido relacionado con el impacto producido por los itinerarios del agua durante varios períodos climáticos, para inferir las razones de las fatigas de las estructuras y materiales. Se corroboró que los recorridos del agua por el interior de la mampostería generan patologías provocadas por los cambios del suelo, la presencia y disolución de iones solubles y la humedad secada en la mampostería

Get PDFEl presente trabajo contiene el registro y las propuestas paisajísticas realizadas en el contexto del seminario científico internacional Proyectos Arquitectónicos en el Paisaje Natural y Cultural del Valle Calchaquí, Salta, Argentina, organizado conjuntamente por la FAU UCASAL y el IUACC Universidad de Sevilla. Los registros y representaciones producidas buscaron multiplicar los enfoques respecto al sitio de trabajo. Su posterior sistematización permitió establecer conceptos específicos y parámetros evaluativos en relación a actividades a desarrollarse, experiencias hápticas, equipamientos necesarios y oportunidades comerciales y patrimoniales. Dichos registros eventualmente sedimentaron en cuatro propuestas paisajísticas que, si bien distintas entre sí en su materialización particular, comparten lineamientos respecto a la cualificación del entorno natural, la mejora de las condiciones de uso de los recorridos y puntos de avistaje preexistentes, y el ordenamiento de las formas posibles de intervención humana.
The current work contains the registry and the landscape proposals carried out in the context of the international scientific seminar Architectural Projects in the Natural and Cultural Landscape of the Calchaquí Valley, Salta, Argentina, jointly organized by the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Catholic University of Salta (FAU UCASAL) and the University Institute of Architecture and Construction Sciences of the University of Seville (IUACC University of Seville). The records and representations produced sought to multiply the approaches to the site. Its subsequent systematization allowed to establish specific concepts and evaluative parameters in relation to activities to be developed, haptic experiences, necessary equipment, and commercial and patrimonial opportunities. Said representations eventually settled into four landscape proposals that, although different from each other in their particular materialization, share guidelines regarding the qualification of the natural environment, the improvement of the conditions of use of the routes and pre-existing sighting points, and the ordering of the possible forms of human intervention.Fil: Prone, Pablo Andrés. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. No full textEn este primer número se presentan artículos que convergen en torno al tema del patrimonio y la educación, producidos por investigadores, docentes y directivos de nuestra Facultad, trabajos que son el resultado de investigaciones tanto de grado como de posgrado. En el primer artículo, presentamos un texto elaborado por el Mg. Arq. Juan Carlos Bernasconi, quien plantea una serie de lineamientos de gestión para la revalorización del patrimonio arqueológico de la cuenca del río Pasaje, basado en la propia historia del lugar. En segundo lugar, el Mg. Arq. Efraín Lema desarrolla una descripción de la Iglesia de San Pedro Nolasco, localidad de Molinos, una obra de características singulares que conforma un ejemplo significativo de la arquitectura religiosa de los Valles Calchaquíes. Posteriormente, el arquitecto y artista plástico Leonardo “Yayo” Pellegrini realiza un análisis sistémico y metodológico sobre la plazoleta y los alrededores del Convento San Bernardo en la ciudad de Salta, el cual deriva en una serie de recomendaciones. A continuación, transitamos por una experiencia vivencial y emotiva directa por parte de los alumnos del Taller Periferia, en un Trabajo de cátedra llevado a cabo por docentes de nuestra Facultad. Finalmente, en un trabajo póstumo del Arq. Orlando Vilariño —quien fuera docente de nuestra Facultad— se describen, en un recorrido norte-sur, los valores urbanos, arquitectónicos y patrimoniales del Valle Calchaquí en la provincia de Salta, Argentina.
