No full textRabelais è il padre fondatore dell’arte del romanzo. Questa è l’ipotesi che Lakis Proguidis sostiene, seguendo molteplici percorsi che si incrociano lungo tutto il suo libro. L’autore passa allora con leggerezza e profondità dalla comparazione dell’opera di Rabelais con quella dei nostri grandi antenati ai propri ricordi personali, dalla farsa alla linguistica, dalla Storia alla critica della critica, dall’analisi scrupolosa del testo alla cronaca, da Omero all’attualità. In Rabelais, afferma Proguidis, come del resto in tutti i romanzieri, la forma del passato non è né un faro infallibile (classicismo) né una realizzazione passeggera (avanguardia), ma un brandello di tessuto che va continuamente rammendato e continuamente arricchito con nuovi motivi esistenziali. Sebbene il caso giochi un grande ruolo, nulla è arbitrario. Tutto ruota attorno allo stesso nocciolo estetico la cui genesi è qui presentata per la prima volta: il suo nome è riso romanzesco

No full textCe 100e numéro de L’Atelier du roman – que nous fêterons le jeudi 9 avril à la Maison de l’Amérique latine – est entièrement consacré à Milan Kundera. Et pour cause : œuvre capitale, novatrice, régénératrice pour l’art du roman, elle est aussi l’œuvre qui, plus que toute autre, contribue à l’accomplissement de l’œuvre de L’Atelier du roman. De surcroît, comme le prouvent les participants du monde entier à ce numéro, œuvre toujours vivante, toujours impliquée dans les énigmes du monde actuel, s’interrogeant toujours sur les impasses en série auxquelles conduisent implacablement nos bonnes intentions.

Quality of financial audit services: analysis and evaluation.
No full textThe object of the doctoral dissertation is financial audit service quality (further – audit service quality). The aim of the doctoral dissertation is to conceptualize audit service quality and based on the conceptual model to analyse and evaluate audit service quality in Lithuania while providing recommendations for quality improvements. The aim is achieved while applying following research methods: analysis of scientific literature, content analysis, questionnaire survey, expert judgement. In the empirical part of the dissertation the author compiles and justifies the model of audit service quality, containing quality criteria important for external (third parties) and internal (audit clients) information users. Further the model is used as a conceptual framework for audit service quality analysis and evaluation in Lithuania. The results of the research imply that audit services provided in Lithuania (both by local and international audit companies) lack of added value. From the perspective of the clients, the provision of business risks insights and recommendations on the improvement of internal control would increase the value of audit and more active involvement in the engagement of audit partner would increase the performance effectiveness. In order to increase and assure the reliability of auditor‘s reports and therefore to increase the audit service quality from the perspective of third parties, the following improvements within the audit companies‘ quality control systems should be considered: application of “quality against quantity“ principle, implementation of proper audit pricing methods, more diligent performance of audit quality review, improvement of audit clients acceptance and continuation procedures, enhancement of audit team members professional scepticism, building knowledge of audit team members on auditees industry, assuring appropriate partner-in-charge involvement in the engagement
