Ayurveda management of Sthoulya Roga (Obesity)
Lifestyle disorders are occurring commonly in India as well as the whole world. Due to altered lifestyle, inappropriate food habits, lack of adequate exercise and psychological stress had led to frequent occurrence of Sthoulya Roga. It has various complications like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cerebrovascular accident, osteoarthritis, dyslipidemia, respiratory distress, depression, ischemic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cancer. So, an effective Ayurveda management has to be developed for Sthoulya Roga. Even an endocrine disease Hypothyroidism can also lead to obesity. Obese patients are often depressed and like have the chance of developing malignancy. Medicines like Thryushanadi Loha, Shilajatu Capsules, Amritadi Guggulu, Navaka Guggulu, Medohara Guggulu, Vyayama, Rooksha Udvartana, and Langhana or Karshana Chikitsa have a better result in the management of obesity. Mainstreaming Ayurveda medicine - Need of the hour
Non communicable diseases are becoming common in India and the whole world According to one survey, more than 2/3 Rd of world population are having the opinion that only modern medicine alone cannot fulfill healthcare needs of the society and there is urgent need to collaborate other systems of medicine like Ayurveda, yoga, homeopathy Unani, acupuncture, accupressure, and Chinese system of herbal medicine to give better relief to the people. In this context, there is an urgent need to mainstream Ayurveda medicine at global level. Ayurveda system of medicine is accepted as scientific and safe, cost effective and affordable also. Ayurveda is directed to maintain health in healthy individuals and cure in diceased people. By following Dinacharya, Rutucharya, Sadvritta and Acharya Rasayana, we can prevent the occurrence of diseases in human being. By the practice of Vyadhi Pratyanika Aushadhi Prayoga, Panchkarma therapy, Pathyapathya Prayoga, and yoga therapy are useful in the eradication and cure of the diseases. In non-communicable diseases, psychosomatic diseases, life style disorders, metabolic and endocrine disorders are becoming common in world population. These can be better managed by practice of Ayurveda and integrative medicine. So we have to bring Ayurveda to mainstream for the betterment of society

Choorna preparations are the pulverized products of Ayurveda medicine which are widely used by Ayurveda physicians in Indian subcontinent. Avipattikara Choorna, Lavana Bhaskara Choorna, Gangadhara Choorna, Swadishta Virechana Choorna, Pancha Sakara Choorna, Shatsakara Choorna, Talisadi Choorna, Sitopaladi Choorna, and Triphala Choorna are few formulations which are commonly used in Ayurveda practice. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Clinical indications of Hinguleshwara Rasa an experiential and scientific view
Herbo mineral formulations are commonly used in general practice in modern India by Ayurveda physicians. These formulations are effective even when they are given with small quantity, does not produce distaste and having quick actions. Most of the formulations contain purified and processed mercurial compounds and Shuddha Vatsanabha (Aconite). Mrityunjaya Rasa, Tribhuvana Kirti Rasa, Ananda Bhairava Rasa, Kaphaketu Rasa, Siddha Makaradhwaja Rasa, makaradhwaja gutika, Poornachandrodaya Rasa, Panchamrita Parpati, Rasa Parpati, and Hemagarbha Pottali are few formulations which are frequently used in general practice. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
