Nel lavoro viene proposta un’analisi dell’attività ispettiva e sanzionatoria
svolta dalle Autorità di Vigilanza, in particolar modo dalla Consob,
nei confronti degli intermediari autorizzati a svolgere professionalmente
uno o più servizi di investimento. Obiettivo dell’indagine è valutare
quali sono gli orientamenti della Consob nell’identificare e risolvere
i conflitti di interesse relativi ad attività e comportamenti tenuti
dagli intermediari nei confronti della clientela. La prima parte
del lavoro è dedicata all’analisi dei criteri in base ai quali l’Autorità
di Vigilanza svolge la propria attività ispettiva, mentre la seconda
parte del lavoro si focalizza sull’attività sanzionatoria
Value co-creation via machine learning from a configuration theory perspective
Purpose
This paper aims to propose an interpretive framework to understand how machine learning (ML) affects the way companies interact with their ecosystem and how the introduction of digital technologies affects the value co-creation (VCC) process.
Design/methodology/approach
This study bases on configuration theory, which entails two main methodological phases. In the first phase the authors define the theoretically-derived interpretive framework through a literature review. In the second phase the authors adopt a case study methodology to inductively analyze the theoretically-derived domains and their relationships within a configuration.
Findings
ML enables multi-directional knowledge flows among value co-creators and expands the scope of VCC beyond the boundaries of the firm-client relationship. However, it determines a substantive imbalance in knowledge management power among the actors involved in VCC. ML positively impacts value co-creators’ performance but also requires significant organizational changes. To benefit from VCC via ML, value co-creators must be aligned in terms of digital maturity.
Originality/value
The paper answers the call for more theoretical and empirical research on the impact of the introduction of Industry 4.0 technology in companies and their ecosystem. It intends to improve the understanding of how ML technology affects the determinants and the process of VCC by providing both a static and dynamic analysis of the topic

Il presente lavoro si pone come obiettivo quello di analizzare in modo sistematico la letteratura inerente alla relazione tra intelligenza artificiale e CI, al fine di osservare se e con quale modello interpretativo i suddetti contributi scientifici hanno appalesato le possibili influenze prodotte dalla trasformazione digitale (Industria 4.0), sull’organizzazione strategica della conoscenza e sullo sviluppo del CI, sia come output della catena del valore, sia potenzialità per la generazione del valore stesso, inteso nelle sue più ampie possibilità interpretative. Non ultimo, appare rilevante l’intento di comprendere, mediante tale analisi, se la letteratura riguardante il tema in analisi ha approfondito le relazioni di influenza tra CI e trasformazione digitale, in ordine alla definizione del “verso” di tali relazioni

Eu-Tb-Doped Y-BTC MOF: A Step Towards Optimization of an Energy Conversion System
Lanthanide-based metal–organic frameworks (Ln-MOFs) represent a key material in various optical applications. Thus, they offer the possibility of fine-tuning their functional properties by adjusting the composition, stoichiometry, and ligand nature. This work reports for the first time the environmentally friendly one-pot synthesis of Eu-Tb-doped yttrium-1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate MOF, i.e., Y-BTC: Eu (10%), Tb (10%), under mild conditions of temperature and pressure. Structural and morphological investigations were conducted through ATR-IR, XRD, and FE-SEM characterization. The doping percentage was analyzed by EDX spectroscopy. The luminescence properties confirm the down-shifting behavior of the MOF, paving the way for using this Eu-Tb-doped Y-BTC system in photovoltaic technology
