Prem Chand is one of the early story writers of Urdu Literature. His fiction dynamically reflects the effect of Progressive Movement and under the same influence he also wrote story for film titles as; ‘Mil Mazdoor’ Initially the film was banned by the censor board but later was released under the title of Ghreeb Mazdoor. Later on, several film makers in the subcontinent experimented on the same topic. In this way, Prem Chand’s film proved to be the trend setter in the field of film making.
