Performance Investigation of a New Compressor Model having Green Refrigerant (R290) in a Vapour Compression Cycle
Master's ThesisRefrigeration and air conditioning now a day is becoming necessary for providing individual
comfort to humans and also to store food so that its freshness stays longer. Refrigeration has many
applications including household refrigeration, air conditioning, cryogenics, industrial freezers etc.
Talking about refrigeration system two important components of the refrigeration system that is
compressor and refrigerant have to be considered as primary subject to study for overall
performance of the system. An ecofriendly and safe refrigerant which have zero ODP and zero
GWP is required in the refrigeration system. This study is more focused about induction models
of Hermetic compressors used in domestic refrigerator. Induction models of compressors used in
domestic refrigerators works with a HFC refrigerant that is Tetrafluoroethane (R134a), which
have zero ODP but have significant GWP. From previous studies it is found that HC refrigerants
are most ecofriendly and suitable working fluid in refrigeration system. They have zero ODP and
negligible GWP and also called as “Green refrigerants”. So in this study, propane (R290) which
is suitable HCs refrigerant or green refrigerant is used as alternative for R134a in induction model
of hermetic compressor and performance of this green refrigerant in secondary fluid calorimeter
(experimental setup used for performance analysis of compressors) with new induction model of
compressor is compared with primarily used refrigerant R134a.
Numerical and Experimental analysis has been done with two respective refrigerants. The key
parameters for performance comparison are mass flow rate of refrigerant in system, input power
(IP) by compressor, discharge and suction pressure in compressor, cooling power or cooling
capacity (CC) and coefficient of performance (COP).
It was observed from experimental study that with R290, IP of compressor is almost 27-29%
high and CC of system is 40-41% more in compare to R134a. While COP of system with R290 is
8-10% higher than R134a. Apart from this, it can be noticed from numerical and experimental
study that R290 works on higher pressure ranges as comparative to R134a. So, in this end of the
study it can be concluded that green refrigerant (R290) is suitable in terms of performance in
induction models of hermetic compressors which are used in domestic refrigerators.EIE
Refractory lymphatic ascites following laparoscopic management of renal lymphangiectasia: An unusual presentation
Renal lymphangiectasia characterised by either unilocular or multilocular cystic lesion in and around the kidney is an uncommon condition. Presentation of these lesions is quite varied, which along with its uncommon occurrence adds to the challenges in the management of this condition. Most of these cases are managed conservatively and very rarely need any intervention. We present an unusual complication of refractory lymphatic ascites following laparoscopic deroofing of a unilocular renal lymphangiectasia in a 21-year-old gentleman who presented with left flank pain. The ascitic fluid analysis suggested non-chylous lymphatic ascites. The surgical outcome was rather exasperating for the patient than the disease itself. Hence, in the interest of the patient with minimal symptoms, if the imaging is highly suggestive of renal lymphangiectasia, either no intervention or the least invasive procedures should be attempted, whenever possible

REALISME SOSIALIS DALAM NASKAH DRAMA BEN GO TUN KARYA SAINI KM PERSPEKTIF GEORG LUKACS
This study aims to interpret socialist realism in the play Ben Go Tun by Saini KM based on sociological literature supported by a structural approach to the drama script consisting of elements of character, plot, setting, and dialogue. Ben Go Tun's drama script is a literary work that shows an effort to free oneself from falsehood and awareness of the hegemony of power. This research was conducted from November 2019 to July 2021.
This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The researcher uses the structural theory of Soediro Satoto's drama which includes characters, plot, setting, and dialogue. Then, this research uses Georg Lukacs socialist realism approach which is based on five aspects, namely objective reality, dialectical movement, historical materialism, artistic reflection, and emancipatory critical expression. The meaning of socialist realism is conveyed through the first, the political views of the figures who highlight the state of the economy and power. Second, the assessment of the social groups of the artists who highlight the aesthetic feeling. The third is the social class gap of the minor characters who highlight the form of life, and the fourth, the form of rebellion against the historical events experienced by the author in expressing awareness for future life
Trunk Velocity-Dependent Light Touch Reduces Postural Sway during Standing
Light Touch (LT) has been shown to reduce postural sway in a wide range of populations. While LT is believed to provide additional sensory information for balance modulation, the nature of this information and its specific effect on balance are yet unclear. In order to better understand LT and to potentially harness its advantages for a practical balance aid, we investigated the effect of LT as provided by a haptic robot. Postural sway during standing balance was reduced when the LT force (~ 1 N) applied to the high back area was dependent on the trunk velocity. Additional information on trunk position, provided through orthogonal vibrations, further reduced the sway position-metric of balance but did not further improve the velocity-metric of balance. Our results suggest that limited and noisy information on trunk velocity encoded in LT is sufficient to influence standing balance. © 2019 Saini et al. In vitro physicochemical characterization of nanocarriers: a road to optimization
Today's drug delivery scientists and pharmaceutical technologists own unprecedented variety of characterization techniques at their disposal not only to assign precise numerical values to the particle parameters but also to probe their developmental phases as well as their internal environment. Therefore, mechanistic understanding of structure-function relationships of nanotherapeutic systems seems to be a dynamic avowal considering the optimization of final nanoformulation system intended for biodistribution and targeting. This chapter aims to decipher the key in vitro physicochemical parameters in dry state, liquid state, as well as in both dry and liquid states, with the perspective of nanoparticle technology, and the diverse physical and experimental means in which these parameters can be demarcated. Further, an attempt has been made to introduce some best suited specialized techniques that enable to expand the accessible range of information to gain deeper insights into specific nanoplatform properties
