[Keanekaragaman Herpetofauna Pada Kawasan Tahura Mangkunagoro I Karanganyar] : Review
Herpetofauna merupakan satwa melata yang bergerak dengan mengikutsertakan perut mereka. Reptilia dan Amfibi merupakan dua kelas dari herpetofauna. Satwa ini memiliki berbagai jenis habitat dan keberadaanya dapat menjadi bioindikator perubahan lingkungan. Kegiatan penangkapan berlebihan, rusaknya habitat, serangan penyakit, serta munculnya spesies invasif menjadi ancaman keberadaan herpetofauna di alam. Herpetofauna memiliki banyak manfaat sehingga perlu dilakukan inventarisasi terhadap satwa tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah inventarisasi dan identifikasi keanekaragaman herpetofauna di kawasan Tahura Mangkunagoro I pada bulan November hingga Desember 2021 dengan menggunakan metode VES dan Time Search. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keanekaragaman jenis (H’) tergolong sedang (H’= 1,342 -1,912), indeks kekayaan jenis (R) tergolong rendah (1,251 -2,299), indeks kemerataan jenis (E) tergolong stabil dan merata (0,797 -0,968), sedangkan indeks dominansi jenis (C) tergolong rendah (0,211 -0,273). Pengetahuan masyarakat tentang herpetofauna di sekitar Tahura terbilang masih kurang, namun kesadaran masyarakat tentang kelestarian herpetofauna tergolong tinggi
