    The Effect Application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer on The Entisol Soil to Increased Cucumber Production, supervised by Ir. Bintang Sitorus, M.P. and Ir. Posma Marbun, M.P. This research was conducted in Desa Celawan Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai and soil analys in Analytical Laboratory PT. Socfin Indonesia, Bangun Bandar from June to September 2016. Research design using Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 6 treatments and 4 replications that is N0 (Control), N1 (cow urine), N2 (goat urine), N3 (coconut water), N4 (liquid organic fertilizer Bi O Grow), N5 (liquid organic fertilizer Indomess Super NPK Plus Organik). Parameters observed were soil (H2O) pH, organic-C, available-P, and cucumber production. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer increased organic-C but do not increased soil (H2O) pH, available-P and cucumber production. Parameter yang diamati adalah pH (H2O) tanah, C-organik, P-tersedia, dan produksi timun suri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair meningkatkan C-organik tanah, tetapi tidak meningkatkan pH (H2O) tanah, P-tersedia dan produksi timun suri.     LEDI KISWANTO BARUS : Estimation of Soil Erosion potential in Coffee Plant ( Coffea Sp ) In Some District of Dairi , guided by HARDY GUCHI AND POSMA MARBUN. This study aims to determine the level of danger of erosion on land coffee plant ( Coffea Sp ) in some of the District Dairi . Coffee plants can grow in a variety of soil types and grows well at altitude 800 sd 2000 m above sea level , the temperature is 15 sd 25oC , rainfall 1,750 mm per year sd 3.000 and pH 5.5 up to 6.5 . Number of Production Smallholders 2758.85 tonnes of Robusta and Arabica coffee 10088.50 tonnes . In 2006 amounted to 2,865 tons , an increase of 18,168 tonnes (2008 ) , dropped to 2,060 tons (2009 ) , be 12 847 tonnes (2010 ). 19,000 hectares of land used , used for Robusta coffee smallholders and 8,495 for Arabica coffee 10504.5 hectares . The results of the study of soil erosion obtained from the calculation of each factor influencing the erosion climatic factors , soil factors , slope factors or topography , vegetation factors and factors of human activities on the 11 districts studied . Level of erosion hazard lowest value in some sub-district in the district of Dairi ie 1.77 Siempat Nempu Hulu Sungai Raya . This research purpose to make evaluation the organic matter content and soil physical properties (Bulk density, Texture and Soil Temperature) the coffee crop land (Coffeea sp.) in some districts in Dairi. The research started to do on June 2013 until December 2013. Sampling using free methods to survey the level of review and analysis of data C- organic by Walkey and Black method, Bulk density by Ring Sample method, Texture by Hydrometer method and Soil Temperature (oC).and interpret the nutrient status of the map through the program ArcMap 10. Parameters in the analysis are C-organik, Bulk Density, Texture and Soil Temperature. The result of research showed that the nutrien status of the research area map C-organic consists of a very low criteria (3 sample), low (13 sample), are (12 sample) dan high (10 sample). Bulk density, criteria porous (13 sample) and solid (25 sample).     ABSTRACT Syahputra A S, “ROBUSTA COFFEE (Coffea robusta Lindl.) STUDIES AT SOME HEIGHT, SLOPE TOWARD AND SOIL TYPE IN SILIMA PUNGGA-PUNGGA REGENCY OF DAIRI” under supervised by Ir. Posma Marbun, M.P. and Kemala Sari Lubis S.P.,M.P. The purpose of the study was to know the location with the highest production of robusta coffee (Coffea robusta Lindl.) in Silima Pungga-Pungga regency of Dairi. The study was done with corelating map of place height, map of slope, map of ground tipe. After overlaying map of ground tipe, elvation, and slope it was found 18 SPT (set of land) with the scale 1 : 25.000. The population of the research is coffee tree in the study field. Sum of point of sampling for coffee trees are 540 sample points. The result of data analysis showed the higest sum of ripe seed coffee production at Parongil village as SPL (set of land) 12 and the lowest sum of ripe seed coffee production at Lae Rambong village as SPL 1. The highest weight production of ripe seed coffee production at Parongil village as SPl (set of land) 12 and the lowest weight production of ripe seed coffee production at Lae Rambong Village as SPL 1. The highest weight production of dry seed coffee at Parongil as SPL 12 and the lowest weight production of dry seed coffee at Lae Rambong Village as SPL 1.     ABSTRACT RINO LINDRI CHUACA: SP-36 Fertilizer Application and Cow Manure on Availability and Phosphorus Uptake and Growth of Maize on Soil Inceptisol Kwala Bekala, supervised by Ir. M. Madjid B. This study aims to determine the effect of SP-36 fertilizer application and manure of cattle as well as its interaction with the availability and P uptake and growth of maize (Zea mays L.) on soil Inceptisol Kwala Bekala. This research was done in gauze house, Soil Fertility Chemical Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra and PT. Nusa Pusaka Kencana & QC Analytical Laboratory (Asian Agri Group). The design used in this study are set out in a randomized block design factorial consisting of two factors with three replications Factor I: SP-36 fertilizer (P) with 4 levels dose (ppm / 10 kg BTKO) ie: P0 (0), P1 (100), P2 (200), P3 (300) and factor II: cow manure (S) with 4 levels dose(g / 10 kg BTKO), namely: S0 (0), S1 (50), S2 (100) and S3 (150). The results showed SP-36 fertilizer application significantly in improving P-available, P-plant uptake and growth of corn plants. Cow manure significant effect in increasing soil pH, C-organic, P-plant uptake and growth of corn plants. The interaction between SP-36 fertilizer and cow manure significantly in improving P-plant uptake and growth of corn plants.     Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L.) is a type of coffee that is widely consumed by most people in the world because it provides many health benefits. The altitude of the place has a great influence on the size of the fruit and Arabica coffee beans. This research was conducted in Tarutung District, North Tapanuli Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of altitude on fruit size and Arabica coffee beans. This research was conducted from April 2024 to October 2024. This research used the simple linear equation method on Arabica coffee fruit and beans on several lands with different altitudes in Tarutung District, North Tapanuli Regency. On each land, 10 Arabica coffee fruits samples were taken using descriptive method and purposive sampling technique, coffee fruit and beans were measured using a caliper and analytical scales.     Arabica coffee yield could be determined by the age of the plant and land characteristics therefore it need for land evaluation. This study was aimed to determine the actual and potential land suitable classes for Arabica coffee and to obtain the relationship the land characteristics with Arabica coffee yield at aged from 11 to 15 years. This study was conducted in Tarutung subdistrict, North Tapanuli District from November 2021 to February 2022. This study was conducted using a survey method and sampling with purposive sampling technique. An overlay was made based on the Maps of Altitude, Soil Type, Slope and obtained 19 Land Map Units/LMU. The data from the LMU was matched with a characteristics table of Arabica coffee and then a regression test was performed on the yield using the SPSS v.25 software. The results showed that the actual suitable classes for several LMU (LMU 2, 3, 4 and 5) were classified as marginal suitable with the limiting factors, which were dominated by water availability, rooting condition, and nutrient retention. After efforts to improve the LMU, it were still classified as marginal suitable, but the limiting factor had change to be water availability and rooting condition. In the other LMU (LMU 1) found the actual and potential suitable classes were classified as not suitable with the limiting factor of the rooting condition.     The Purpose of this research to get information about erosian hazard level (TBE) estimate in forest and coffee arabica lands in Sub District Sibolangit with USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method. The Research was conducted in January-July 2017 in Sub District Sibolangit at three villages there are Negeri Suah, Bukum and Cinta Rakyat. The research was conducted using purposive sampling method and continued with soil erosion calculation by USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method. The results showed the highest erosion in the coffee arabica land (LK 1) in Cinta Rakyat Village on the slope of 119% which is 1429,342 tonnes/ha/year with the criteria of erosion hazard level is very high. The lowest erosion in the area forest of (H2) in the Bukum Forest on the slope of 21% that is 0,169 tonnes/ha/year with the criteria of erosian hazard level is low.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi tingkat bahaya erosi pada hutan dan lahan Kopi Arabika (Coffeaarabica) di Kecamatan Sibolangit dengan menggunakan metode USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Juli 2017 di Kecamatan Sibolangit pada 3 Desa yaitu Desa Negeri Suah, Desa Bukum dan Desa Cinta Rakyat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling dan dilanjutkan perhitungan laju erosi tanah metode USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa erosi tertinggi terdapat pada LK1 di Desa Cinta Rakyat dengan kemiringan lereng 119% yaitu 1429,342 ton/ha/tahun dengan kriteria Tingkat Bahaya Erosi (TBE) Sangat Tinggi dan erosi terendah terdapat pada lahan hutan (H2) di Hutan Bukum dengan kemiringan lereng 21% yaitu 0,169 ton/ha/tahun dengan kriteria TBE Rendah.Skripsi Sarjan

    This research is aims to find out the content of heavy metals Pb on cabbage leaf and plum tomatoes in three districts of Karo Regency, those are Simpang empat, Kabanjahe and Tiga Panah district. The plant analysis have held in the laboratory of oil palm Research Centre (PPKS), at April-May 2016, using Random Design Group (RAK) factorial with three replications. The first factor is the type of plants: cabbage leaf and fruit skins of tomato, the second factor is the distance from the highway, namely the 5 m and 10 m and the third factor is the leaching that is without being washed and washed with flowing water. The parameters observed are heavy metal Pb content in the leaves of the plant and fruit skins cabbage tomato plants. The results showed that the type of plant, the distance from the highway and the leaching effect on levels of Pb. The levels of Pb on cabbage leaf at a distance of 5 m and 10 m without washing each 6.19 ppm and 4.79 ppm and with leaching 4.48 ppm and 3.86 ppm. While the levels of Pb on tomato fruit at a distance of 5 m and 10 m without leaching 4.01 ppm and 3.10 ppm and with leaching 3.08 ppm and 2.26 ppm.46 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan
