Voci di comunità. Una ricerca-formazione con i coordinatori di comunità educative per minori
No full textRegolamentate dalla Legge 149/2001, le comunità educative sono sistemi ove gruppi di professionisti accolgono minori in condizioni di vulnerabilità, offrendo ambienti di vita familiari positivi. Tuttavia, sebbene in Italia il numero dei minori accolti sia consistente, il tema delle comunità si manifesta quando legato a criticità, piuttosto che nella sua ordinarietà. Il progetto "Minors and educators in residential care" dell’Università di Parma intende rispondere a tale criticità, esplorando le dinamiche caratterizzanti il fenomeno a partire dalla voce degli educatori. In questa logica, il contributo definisce l’impianto di ricerca complessivo, collocato nel più ampio quadro della ricerca-formazione, e riporta i risultati emersi dalle interviste condotte con responsabili e coordinatori pedagogici di Parma, Reggio Emilia e Piacenza

La riforma assume un'importanza particolare in quanto è da tale riforma che viene introdotto il management in fase di realizzazione di opere pubbliche ed infrastrutture. Si tratta della prima generazione di direttive comunitarie che richiedono un recepimento in materia. Da tale riforma nascono alcuni corsi in SDA in materia di management di opere pubbliche ed infrastrutture che più tardi confluiranno in GePROPI (Gestione dei Processi Realizzaztivi di Opere Pubbliche ed Infrastrutture

No full textThis contribution aims to reflect on the role played by knowledge in the design of interventions that are compatible and respectful of the material and immaterial values of the cultural heritage. This role can be seen with greater emphasis in architectures characterised by multiple stratified uses which are intended as a synthesis of heterogeneous palimpsests of materials, techniques, forms, and languages of the past. Among them, an emblematic case is represented by convent and monastic architectures, which at the end of the 19th century were acquired by State Administrations to contribute to the construction of the new infrastructures of the rising Italian State. Restoration projects show a common tendency to attribute a maximum value to the original function that justifies the restoration of typologies, morphologies, spatiality, and languages, often causing the removal of signs resulting from the adaptation of the architecture to its subsequent functions. In order to reflect on this issue, two case studies are compared. These are considered paradigmatic for the symbolic implications, for the vicissitudes that have compromised their material consistency, and for the complexity of the design processes still underway. Specifically, this study intends to critically analyse the two interventions, starting from the state of the places before the beginning of the planning process, considering the main aims of the commissioners, the methodologies of the analysis applied, the knowledge apparatuses produced, the level of planning sensibility and the specialised experiences involved. It also wants to outline a synoptic framework, useful for assessing the expected results in terms of conservation, protection, and enhancement, as well as the final quality of the project, also in the light of the solutions adopted. The objective is to understand how the specialised knowledge – developed thanks to the synergic collaboration between different stakeholders – was able to influence the design solutions

E' questo un passaggio importante dell'ammodernamento delle opere pubbliche ed infrastrutture, non solamente il diritto amministrativo e le discipline tecniche (ingegneria, architettura ecc.), ma d'ora in poi con un peso crescente vi è la figura del project manager che interviene all'interno del processo di realizzazione delle opere pubbliche. Vengono individuati nuovi strumenti (tools), vi è la nascita anche del project finance contestualmente alla nascita di questa figur
Direct replacement of antibodies with molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) nanoparticles in ELISA - development of a novel assay for vancomycin
No full textA simple and straightforward technique for coating microplate wells with molecularly imprinted polymer nanoparticles (nanoMIPs) to develop ELISA type assays is presented here for the first time. NanoMIPs were synthesized by a solid phase approach with immobilized vancomycin (template) and characterized using Biacore 3000, dynamic light scattering and electron microscopy. Immobilization, blocking and washing conditions were optimized in microplate format. The detection of vancomycin was achieved in competitive binding experiments with a HRP-vancomycin conjugate. The assay was capable of measuring vancomycin in buffer and in blood plasma within the range 0.001-70 nM with a detection limit of 0.0025 nM (2.5 pM). The sensitivity of the assay was three orders of magnitude better than a previously described ELISA based on antibodies. In these experiments nanoMIPs have shown high affinity and minimal interference from blood plasma components. Immobilized nanoMIPs were stored for 1 month at room temperature without any detrimental effects to their binding properties. The high affinity of nanoMIPs and the lack of a requirement for cold chain logistics make them an attractive alternative to traditional antibodies used in ELIS
