No full textNuno Júdice nació en Mexilhoeira Grande, Portimão (Portugal), en 1949. Es poeta y novelista y trabaja como profesor asociado en la Universidad Nova de Lisboa en el área de Literaturas Románicas Comparadas. Comenzó su actividad literaria en el año 1972 con su primer libro de poesía, Noção do Poema, y entre sus obras recientes destacan la edición de su Poesia (1967-2000), Geometria variàvel (2005) y As coisas mais simples (2007), todos ellos en Edições Dom Quixote, así como A matéria do poema, a punto de publicarse. En España se ha publicado Un canto en la espesura del tiempo (Calambur, 1996-2003), Antología (Visor, 2003) y Tú, a quien llamo amor. Antología (Hiperión, 2008), y sus libros también se han editado en Francia, Italia, Holanda, México, Bulgaria, Suecia, Dinamarca, Irán y Vietnam.
Júdice, considerado uno de los más importantes poetas portugueses posterior al grupo Poesía 61, ha desarrollado una intensa labor de promoción de la cultura portuguesa en el extranjero. Durante algunos años dirigió la revista de poesía Tabacaria, de la Casa Fernando Pessoa, y entre 1997 y 2004 fue consejero cultural de la Embajada de Portugal en Francia y director del Instituto Camões en París.
Ha traducido al portugués poesía angloamericana (Emily Dickinson) y española (Jorge Montemayor, entre otros), así como teatro (Corneille, Molière, Shakespeare), al que también se ha dedicado como autor, y ha sido galardonado con los más importantes premios de poesía portuguesa, entre ellos el Premio Nacional de Poesía Antonio Ramos Rosa 2007. Actualmente coordina, junto con Fernando Pinto do Amaral, dos seminarios de traducción de poesía organizados por la Fundación Casa de Mateus

After decades of relative isolation under authoritarian regimes, the success of processes of democratic transition in Portugal and Spain in the second half of the 1970s paved the way for full membership in the European Community. For Spain, Portugal, and their European Community (EC) partners this momentous and long awaited development had profound consequences and set in motion complex processes of adjustment. (1) There was no dispute that the Iberian countries belonged to Europe. This was not just a geographical fact. Spain and Portugal shared their traditions, their culture, their religion, and their intellectual values with the rest of Europe. Moreover, both countries had historically contributed to the Christian occidental conceptions of mankind and society dominant in Europe. Without Portugal and Spain the European identity would only be a reflection of an incomplete body. Iberian countries belonged to Europe. Their entry into the European Community was a reaffirmation of that fact, and it would enable both countries to recover their own cultural identity, lost since the Treaty of Utrecht, if not before. The Iberian enlargement strengthened Europe’s strategic position in the Mediterranean and Latin America, and led to the further development of a European system of cohesion and solidarity. Spain and Portugal offered a new geo-political dimension to the Union, strengthening it southwards, and ensuring closer ties with other regions that have been peripheral to the EC This process was fostered with the Spanish accession to NATO on June 1982, after a long controversy within the country.ii The purpose of this paper is to use the experience of Portugal and Spain in the European Union (EU) as an opportunity to reflect on what has happened to both countries since 1986 and draw some lessons from the Iberian experiences that may be applicable to Eastern European countries. Técnicas expansivas para o clarinete na música de Miguel Azguime
Get PDFO presente trabalho trata as técnicas expansivas do clarinete e contém uma análise crítica dos principais manuais sobre o assunto.
Para sustentar este tema, decidi focar algumas obras para clarinete de Miguel Azguime que utilizam este tipo de técnicas. Para além disto, através da análise de conteúdo de duas entrevistas, uma ao compositor e outra ao clarinetista Nuno Pinto, gerar alguns conselhos sobre a sua execução e interpretação, visto que são opiniões de quem mais está familiarizado com as obras e com as técnicas expansivas nelas contidas. Esta dissertação tanto poderá servir para compositores que queiram futuramente compor música contemporânea para clarinete, na qual possam assim pesquisar recursos que mais se assemelhem com o resultado que idealizam, como para clarinetistas que estejam interessados na aprendizagem destas técnicas ou na performance das obras de Miguel Azguime.
Esta necessidade advém do facto de não existir uma verdade absoluta no que toca à execução de técnicas expansivas para os instrumentistas.
Em suma, com este trabalho visa analisar e esclarecer algumas das limitações do clarinete, bem como das suas imensas possibilidades, e para além disso, dar a conhecer a música fantástica de Miguel Azguime pela qual me apaixonei desde a primeira vez que a escutei.The present work deals with the clarinet extended techniques and contains a critical analysis of the main manuals on the subject. To support this theme, I decided to focus on some works for clarinet by Miguel Azguime that use this type of techniques. In addition, through the content analysis of two interviews, one to the composer and another to the clarinetist Nuno Pinto, to generate some advice on its execution and interpretation, since they are opinions of those who are more familiar with the works and with the extended techniques contained therein. This dissertation may be useful for composers who want to compose contemporary music for clarinet in the future, in which they can search for resources that are more similar to the result they idealize, as well as clarinetists who are interested in learning these techniques or in the performance of works by Miguel Azguime.
This need arises from the fact that there is no absolute truth regarding the implementation of extended techniques for instrumentalists.
In short, this work aims to analyze and clarify some of the limitations of the clarinet, as well as its immense possibilities, and in addition to make known the fantastic music of Miguel Azguime for which I fell in love since the first time I listened

Como sempre, li atentamente o que Prado Coelho escreveu. E subscrevo. Acrescento, no rol de nomes que ele elenca, que António Pinto Ribeiro está a fazer o doutoramento no ISCTE.
