Condition of Pinki villages formation and housing development

Has been described development of the spatial structure enharetance, and collective farms in the context of enharetance in Pinki surrounding example. Work analyzed Pinki village’s zoning and its building process.
Specifically at issue in the period of the 1940s. to 1991., when Latvia was under Soviet Union. In 1940s whare admitted theories of spatial planning , which further affected the Latvian settlement-building principles. 1949th the creation of collective farms started in Latvia.
As a result of the Soviet Union established technology and planning assistance in the 1970s was acquired earlier holding, unused areas. Continuation of the farm population and development in the village of Pinki 1983rd the need arose to expand the borders of the village primary residential use.
1991st the Latvia regained its independence, which also affected the building, because collective farms ceased to exist and the property transferred to private owners.
Consequently, Pinki village changed its function from collective farms to the residential function. In the nineties began to develop bedroom suburb and the village of Pinki main function transformed to the general trends. The political process related changes are also reflected in the future Pinki village housing development.

Creation of Babite cultural center in Pinki
The aim of the master work „Creation of Babite cultural center in Pinki” is to promote culture and art development in Babite’s municipality.
The research question is: what are the possible solutions to develop the culture and art in Babite’s region?
To give the answer to this question in first chapter is about the research on culture development in Babite’s region and citizens view about it. The second chapter is about two alternative comparing for the problem solution. The third section is for creating the manual of the project Creation of Babite cultural center in Pinki”.
The master work consists of 220 pages, 23 images, 15 tables and 34 attachments
Introduction: “Don’t think twice, it’s alright”: Normalizing intimate violence
The chapter introduces the central idea behind this volume that makes it a unique contribution to literature on intimate violence. The volume reflects complexities of society and its institutions that enmesh interpersonal violence in patriarchal heteronormative ecosystems within which violence operates as a tool for maintaining inequalities in society. This chapter pivots violence as a manifestation of ‘entitlements’ based on gendered social hierarchies and critical intersectionalities. Ideological conditions created by legal, social, and economic structures allow the normalization of intimate violence. The anecdotal meets feminist theory to understand institutional responses to violence in intimate spaces. The focus remains the ecosystem of violence, the ‘space’ within which violence is situated. The volume proposes that while cis-men are the primary ‘actors’ of violence; state, society and its institutions are the ‘agents’ of violence
A Study on the Effect of Gamma Radiations on Dahlia Cultivar NBRI 'Pinki'
80-83The rooted cuttings of
Dahlia cultivar NBRI 'Pinki' were treated with different doses of gamma radiations
and planted with untreated (control) cuttings. The changes occurred in treated
plants at different intervals were studied and they were compared with the
untreated ones. In the plants, treated with gamma radiations retarded growth,
irregular growth of the leaves and fusion, thick and leathery touch of leaves,
change in the stomata number, decline in the wax coating on the surfaces of the
leaves were observed. The radio sensitivity of the plants based on different
morphological characters were observed in Dahlia 'Pinki'. Consequently, it was
concluded that variegation in the leaves and colour variation among the flowers
of Dahlia can be caused by means of gamma radiations
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
