The Slovak topos of tinker in Czech literature : (J.K. Tyl and Slovak question in the first half of the 19th century)
No full textThe paper explores the topos of tinker in the works of two Czech authors: J. K. Chmelenský\u27s libretto for the eponymous opera by F. Škroup (1826) and J. K. Tyl\u27s short story Pomněnky z Roztěže (1838, Roztěž forget-me-nots). Expressing Czech-Slovak mutuality, this theme combined Romantic sensibility, folkloric exoticism and patriotic ideology. In the Czech milieu, the tinker was ideated, rather sentimentally, as a particular type of Slovak patriot. Thus in J. K. Chmelenský\u27s dramatic libretto, the tinker defends his home and native language, and similarly, in Tyl\u27s story, which was later included in the cycle of Kusy mého srdce (1844, Pieces of My Heart), the tinker represents love for his country, the conflict of "reason" and "heart". It was in this character that Tyl "relinquished" the Máchaian concept of discontentedness. The tinker, remembering his young love, is depicted by the author not only as a patriot but also a true beggar, distressed vagrant. What distinguishes him linguistically is the fact that in the magazine the man speaks Czech, while in the book edition his speech is "rendered in Slovak". It was the first time that, one year after Štúr had originated the Slovak language, Tyl made an artistically convincing admission of the language separation. Subsequently, in the early 1840s, Tyl came to the conclusion that Slovak endeavours to establish an independent language were not to impede the traditional cooperation with Czechs who could understand Slovak in a work of art
Prediktívna analytika v retailovom bankovníctve v Českej republike
No full textAdvanced analytics and big data allow a more complete picture of customers' preferences and demands. Through this deeper understanding, organizations of all types are finding new ways to engage with existing or potential customers. Research shows that companies using big data and advanced analytics in their operations have productivity and profitability rates that are 5 to 6 percent higher compared to their peers. At the same time it is almost impossible to find a banking institution in the Czech Republic exploiting potential of data analytics to its full extent. This thesis will therefore focus on exploring opportunities for banks applicable in the local context, taking into account technological and financial limitations as well as the market situation. Author will conduct interviews with bank managers and management consultants familiar with the topic in order to evaluate theoretical concepts and the best practices from around the world from the point of Czech market environment, to assess capability of local banks to exploit them and identify the main obstacles that stand in the way. Based on that a general framework for bank managers, who would like to use advanced analytics, will be proposed

No full textkatedra: MTI; přílohy: 1 CD ROM; rozsah: 41 s.Diplomová práce se zabývá konstrukcí lepších řešení administrace webových aplikací, snížením zatížení serveru, jednoduchou implementací a zvýšením uživatelské přívětivosti. K tomu je využíváno převážně pokročilých technologií AJAX, knihoven jQuery a způsobu přenášení dat JSON. Výsledkem je komplexní koncept a sada nástrojů pro správu skupin objektů v rámci rozšíření frameworku jQuery. Toto řešení nalezne využití především v pokročilých administračních rozhraních nebo informačních systémech. Součástí práce je také popis implementace od serverové části až po klientskou. Je podrobně vysvětlen princip a způsob vytvoření (X)HTML vzorů a šablon, které jsou využívány při rekonstrukci nových objektů na straně klienta.Thesis deals with the construction of better solutions for web applications administration, reducing server load, simple to deploy and increasing user-friendliness. This is using mainly advanced AJAX technology, jQuery libraries and JSON data transferring. The result is a complex concept and set of tools for managing groups of objects within the jQuery framework extension. This solution finds use primarily in advanced administration interface, or information systems. The work also includes a description of the implementation from the server to the client part. As explained in detail the principles of creating (X)HTML templates and designs that are used in the reconstruction of new objects on the client side

7 Habits and principles of management
No full textThis thesis aims to identify the principles that managers use in their work. The work of Stephen Covey "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" is used as an object of research. Primarily, a Covey's claim that the 7 habits are universal and timeless is analyzed, in an effort to identify universal principles of effectivity and their relationship to management. All of the habits are paraphrased and compared to the work of other popular authors from the area of social sciences. Subsequently, a comparison between the 7 habits and historical development of organization theory and its lessons is conducted. Further along, a description of critical reflection of the 7 habits from five standpoints is presented: post-modern, feminism, critical pedagogy, non-functionalism and exclusive representation. Finally, the author of the thesis presents his personal experience with implementing the 7 habits in his professional and personal life. From the findings, this thesis comes to the conclusion that Covey's system of 7 habits is possibly a quality source of information when searching for universal principles of effectivity. At the same time, it warns that it is possible that the habits are only universally applicable within the scope of the time and background of western thinking they were developed in. Při studiu technologií využitelných pro WYSIWYG editor jsem se zaměřil na prozkoumání moderních metod a technologií, které jsou vytvořeným editorem využívány. Při popisu WYSIWYG editorů jsem se zaměřil především na popsání principu, na kterém pracují. Vytvořený WYSIWYG editor byl koncipován pro snadnou rozšířitelnost o nové funkce a kompatibilitu s nejpoužívanějšími prohlížeči.The goal of this work is to familiarize with the issues of XHTML web pages creating by WYSIWYG editors programmed in JavaScript language and other appropriate technologies, to analyze existing solutions and to create and test own WYSIWYG editor. Among tasks related to WYSIWYG editors I focused on analysis of state of the art methods and technologies used by these editors. Within describing WYSIWYG editors I focused especially on their work principles. Tyla ze 30. a 40. let 19. století" sleduje znaky Tylových vlasteneckých povídek z jeho rané i vrcholné tvorby uveřejněných ve vybraných časopisech. Za výchozí bod určujeme zásadní oblasti vlastenecké činnosti J. K. Tyla. Cílem je vystihnout charakteristické rysy Tylových povídek a ukázat na konkrétních příkladech, na jakých základech jeho dílo stojí.The diploma thesis entitled "The development of the patriotic stories by J. K. Tyl from the 30s and 40s of the 19th Century" depicts the characteristics of Tyl's patriotic short stories from his early and late work that were published in selected magazines. J. K. Tyl's patriotic work is considered as the essential basis and the starting point for purposes of the paper. Analysis of mobile operator´s marketing communications on the Czech market
No full textThe thesis deals with marketing communications of mobile operators on the Czech market. Marketing communications is analyzed using the research methods of competitive intelligence and mystery shopping. Sub-goal of this paper is a performance of a particular competitive intellingence tool for continuous monitoring of marketing communications. The main aim of this work is the processing of competitive analysis in the different areas of the communication mix. The media spending on ATL communications are evaluated in advertising. In direct marketing there are analyzed and evaluated member gets member activities of Czech mobile operators. The goal in the area of sales promotion is to compare the loyalty communications of the operators and in the branch of public relations CSR activities with an emphasis on the endowment policy are evaluated. Personal selling of mobile operators is evaluated using the method of mystery shopping.Práce se zabývá marketingovou komunikací mobilních operátorů na českém trhu. Marketingová komunikace je analyzována za pomoci výzkumných metod competitive intelligence a mystery shopping. Dílčím cílem práce je představení konkrétního competitive intellingence nástroje pro kontinuální monitoring marketingové komunikace. Hlavním cílem práce je pak zpracování konkurenčních analýz v jednotlivých oblastech komunikačního mixu. V rámci reklamy je cílem zmapování mediálních výdajů operátorů na ATL komunikaci a v oblasti direct marketingu jsou analyzovány a vyhodnocovány member gets member aktivity operátorů. V rámci podpory prodeje je cílem porovnání věrnostní komunikace sledovaných subjektů a u oblasti public relations si práce všímá CSR aktivit operátorů s důrazem na jejich nadační politiku.
