    Namen diplomske naloge je bil izdelati mobilno aplikacijo za sledenje pošiljk. Skozi razvoj mobilne aplikacije smo naredili pomožni program, s pomočjo katerega smo lažje vnašali podatke v podatkovno bazo, postavili podatkovno bazo, v katero smo shranjevali podatke in procedure, napisali API in uporabili programsko orodje ngrok ter naredili mobilno aplikacijo.The aim of the thesis was to develop a mobile application for tracking shipments. During the development of the mobile app, we created a utility program to make it easier to enter data into the database, set up a database to store data and procedures, wrote an API, and used the ngrok programming tool to create the mobile app

    Magistrska naloga poskuša predstaviti današnji položaj živilskopredelovalne (predvsem mesnopredelovalne) industrije tako v Sloveniji kot v Evropi. Ugotoviti bi želeli, kakšno je stanje, kakšna je perspektiva in kateri so dejavniki konkurenčne sposobnosti na današnjem skupnem evropskem trgu. Konkurenčnost te panoge industrije je v veliki meri odvisna od konkurenčnosti domačega kmetijstva. Za slovensko kmetijstvo je značilna nizka konkurenčnost, saj nimamo ugodnih naravnih razmer, pa tudi družbene razmere v Sloveniji za kmetijstvo niso dobre. Rešitev za kmetijstvo in živilsko industrijo je v njuni povezanosti, česar se v Evropi zavedajo, saj konkurenčnost v agroživilstvu ni problem samo v Sloveniji, ampak v vseh članicah EU. Tretji pomemben člen v povezovalni verigi so trgovske družbe. Skupna kmetijska politika (SKP), ki določa okvire ekonomskega delovanja, temelji na enotnosti trga, dajanju prednosti regionalni pridelavi in finančni solidarnosti držav članic. Tržni redi za posamezne skupine kmetijskih proizvodov so zakonska podlaga te skupne politike. V nalogi je predstavljen tržni položaj mesnopredelovalne industrije, njeno konkurenčno prilagajanje evropskemu trgu in potrošniku ter problematika klavno-predelovalne industrije v Sloveniji. Mesnopredelovalna industrija spada med zelo pomembne gospodarske dejavnosti. Za doseganje dobrih ekonomskih rezultatov je potrebno, da so rejci živine, mesnopredelovalni obrati in trgovci med seboj povezani tako vertikalno kot horizontalno v sistem oskrbne verige. Pomen mesnopredelovalne industrije izhaja tudi iz vloge mesnih proizvodov za prehrano in zdravje ljudi. Danes je vse večji poudarek na zaščiti potrošnikov pred zdravju škodljivimi živili. Ugotoviti smo poskušali, kaj pomeni za mesnopredelovalno industrijo sprejetje evropske zakonodaje za to področje in katere so zahteve EU. Za uspešno prilagajanje EU je med drugim pomembna harmonizacija pravnega reda s pravnim redom EU. Pri vseh dosedanjih širitvah EU sta področji mesno- in živilskopredelovalne industrije panogi, ki zahtevata izrazito veliko pozornosti. Za predstavitev praktičnih problemov podjetij, ki se soočajo s problematiko živilstva, smo v empiričnem delu naloge predstavili dva slovenska mesnopredelovalna obrata ter njuno politiko nabave in prodaje. S pomočjo analize SWOT smo poskušali predstaviti njun tržni položaj. Zanimalo nas je, kako na njuno poslovanje vplivajo zaostrene gospodarske razmere, finančna nedisciplina in vse močnejša konkurenca tujih rejcev ter proizvajalcev mesa in mesnih izdelkov. S pomočjo pisne ankete smo izvedli raziskavo o zadovoljstvu slovenskih potrošnikov z izdelki slovenske mesnopredelovalne industrije in poskušali ugotoviti, kakšna je pripravljenost le-teh za nakup izdelkov slovenskega porekla.The following master thesis examines the current situation of the Slovenian as well as the European food processing industry. The focus is set on the meat processing industry, particularly on its status and perspective. Furthermore, it discusses specific factors of its competitiveness on the current common European market. The competitiveness of this industry depends largely on the competitive position of the domestic agriculture. Slovenian agriculture suffers a low level of competitiveness, which is due to bad environmental conditions but also due to some social issues. The problematic situation of agriculture and the food industry could be achieved by active interaction of these two sectors. This issue has already been recognized by European countries, since the competitiveness of agro-food processing doesn\u27t only pose a problem in Slovenia but also in all countries of the EU. Trading companies represent the third important link. The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which sets the frame for economic activities, is based on three major principles: market unity, community preference and financial solidarity of the member states. Market regulations for individual categories of agricultural products represent the legal basis of the mentioned common policy. The thesis also depicts the market situation of the meat processing industry, its competitiveness adjustment to the European market as well as to customers, and finally the problematic situation of the Slovenian slaughter and meat processing industry. The meat processing industry represents a significant part of the economic sector. In order to be able to deliver good economic results, stock farmers, food processing factories as well as traders need to form a vertical and horizontal connection system, representing the supply chain system. The importance of the meat processing industry can also be linked to the role of meat products in human consumption and health. The protection of consumers from harmful foods is currently drawing increased concern. From this perspective, the author’s research focused on how the adopted European legislation for this particular area could influence the meat processing industry and also on the EU requirements. The harmonization of the national legal system with the legal system of the EU is of significant importance for the successful adaptation to the European standard. In the context of past EU enlargements, the meat and food processing industries require careful attention. The empirical part of the thesis enlightens practical problems of companies that tackle the problematic situation of the food industry on a daily basis. The focus was set on two Slovenian meat processing factories, especially on their purchase and sales policy. The SWOT analysis method was applied to describe their market position. The author was particularly interested in how their business is tackling the problematic economic situation, the lack of financial discipline, and the increasingly competitive performance of foreign stock farmers as well as meat and meat product producers. Furthermore, a written survey was carried out to research the satisfaction of Slovenian consumers with products of the Slovenian food processing industry as well as their willingness to buy products of Slovene origin

    V diplomski nalogi avtorica predstavi razvoj meje na čezmejnem območju Goriška brda – Collio Goriziano, ki se je skozi leta spreminjala. Poleg tega predstavi še vinogradništvo, vinarstvo in turizem teh dveh območij ter njune skupne čezmejne povezovalne projekte. Skozi nalogo vrednoti naravno in kulturno dediščino tega edinstvenega območja, ki se razteza čez dve državi – Italijo in Slovenijo. Prikazati želi, da so Goriška brda in Collio Goriziano edinstveno območje, ki je bilo leta 1947 razdeljeno z mejo.In the thesis author presents the development of the border in the cross-border area Goriška brda – Collio Goriziano, which has changed through the years. Furthermore, she presents viticulture, winemaking and tourism of the two areas and their joint cross – border integration projects. Through assignment she values the natural and cultural heritage of this unique area, which stretches across two countries – Italy and Slovenia. The aim is to show that Goriška brda and Collio Goriziano are a unique area divided by border in 1947

    The article examines the influence and remnants of economic and political systems as layers of time on the remote island of Žirje in Croatia, focusing on developments from the sixteenth century onwards. The author explores changes in local economic, political, legal, religious, spatial, and kinship arrangements to shed light on contemporary ethnographic realities. By adopting a relational approach to studying Žirje, the author challenges the notion of islands and cultures as isolated entities.Članek analizira učinke in ostanke različnih gospodarskih in političnih sistemov na oddaljenem otoku Žirje na Hrvaškem. Opisuje družbene in pokrajinske spremembe od 16. stoletja do danes skozi osnovne principe otoškega preživljanja: od kmetijstva do celinske industrije in v zadnjem času turizma. Obravnava spremembe v lokalnih gospodarskih, političnih, pravnih, verskih in sorodstvenih odnosih ter razmišlja o sodobnem odzivu na ta transformativni proces. Relacijski pristop k Žirju v njegovem časovnem, prostorskem in družbenem kontekstu zavrača trditve o izoliranih otokih in njihovih avtentičnih kulturah

    Zero waste and students\u27 everyday life: The attitude of students towards waste

    Avtorica diplomskega dela se s pregledom nekaj virov in literature ter terenskim etnografskim delom sprašuje o definicijah in pojmovanju odpadkov in gibanja brez odpadkov študentov in študentk. Pri tem spozna, da se je koncept brez odpadkov v 70. letih začel kot podjetniška ideja, ki bi si jo njen avtor želel aplicirati tudi širše, vendar se je v naslednjih desetletjih popularizirala predvsem kot življenjski slog. Skozi pogovore s študenti in študentkami avtorica izve, da jih za prakse zmanjševanja odpadkov motivirajo človeško zdravje, njegova kvaliteta življenja in zdravje planeta, pa tudi daljnosežni moralni vzgibi skrbi za zanamce na tem planetu. (Ne)kompatibilnost študentskih vsakdanov s konceptom zero waste je odvisna od pojmovanja koncepta, ki ga vzamemo za izhodiščno točko, a študentom in študentkam nasproti zagotovo stojijo slabši družbeno-ekonomski položaj, založenost z drugimi formalnimi in neformalnimi obveznostmi ter potreba po določenem udobju. Nekompatibilnost družbenih pristopov in praks se izraža v zaznanih občutkih frustracije zaradi razkoraka med ekološkimi vrednotami študentov in študentk ter možnostmi v vsakodnevnem življenju.The author of the undergraduate paper reviews some sources and literature on zero waste and carries out ethnographic fieldwork in an attempt to research definitions and concepts of waste and the zero waste movement among students. She comes to find that the zero waste concept started as an entrepreneurial idea in the 1970s. Despite its author’s wish to apply it more broadly, in the next decades, zero waste became popular mostly as a lifestyle. Conversations with students show the author of the thesis that their motivations for waste reduction practices are human health, the quality of human life and the health of our planet, and also far-reaching concerns for our descendants on this planet. The (in)compatibility of students’ everyday lives with the zero waste concept depends on what definition we take as the starting point, but students are certainly limited by their worse socio-economic position, other formal and informal obligations, and the need for a certain comfort. The incompatibility of social approaches and practices is seen in the perceived feelings of frustration, caused by the discrepancy between students’ ecological values and possibilities in their everyday life

    Contested Rites – Janša’s Politics of Statehood Celebration in Contemporary Slovenia

    Political division, which re-emerged after Slovenian independence and parliamentary democracy in 1991, has strongly influenced Slovenian social life. The article focuses on official and parallel celebrations of statehood day as a political tool in political arena. The author analyses those manipulative and discursive techniques used by opposition leader Janez Janša that were the most evident in the critique of the official celebrations of statehood and the construction of parallel ones. Presented taxonomy of his interventions is based on extensive ethnographic work and offers a summarised review of some basic ideological disputes during the Slovenian post-socialist transition

    The article describes the transformation of the smallholders’ community of Domanjševci (Hung. Domonkosfa) on the Slovenian-Hungarian border during the last two centuries. On the basis of ethnographic and archival sources, the author compares the village’s socio-political contexts resulting from the building of the Iron Curtain and its removal. Both periods are analyzed as modernization or rationalization paradigms (communist and capitalist) which, in addition to biophysical conditions and feudal legacies, aid in explaining existing power relations and the emergence of the landscape and cultural heritage of contemporary Domanjševci.Članek opisuje preoblikovanje skupnosti malih zemljiških lastnikov v vasi Domanjševci (madž. Domonkosfa) ob slovensko-madžarski meji v zadnjih dveh stoletjih. Avtor na podlagi etnografskih in arhivskih virov podrobneje primerja družbenopolitični kontekst vasi po postavitvi in odstranitvi železne zavese. Obe obdobji analizira kot paradigmi modernizacije ali racionalizacije (socialistične in kapitalistične), ki lahko, poleg ekoloških razmer te doline na Goričkem in njene fevdalne zapuščine, razložita sodobna razmerja moči ter nastajanje krajine in kulturne dediščine Domanjševcev

    The article attempts to understand the referential background of Gabriel Majcen\u27s popularly written book Zgodovina domačih živali in pitomih rastlin (A History of Domestic Animals and Domesticated Plants, 1927), the first work of its kind in the field of Slovenian historiography and ethnology. First, the research and social activity of the author are presented, then the contents of his book are listed and evaluated. Finally, the theoretical and literary influences on Majcen\u27s work are discussed through a comparison with more significant natural science or zoological works of the 19th century.Članek poskuša razumeti referenčno polje poljudno pisane knjige Gabriela Majcna Zgodovina domačih živali in pitomih rastlin (1927), ki je prvo tovrstno delo na področju slovenskega zgodovinopisja in etnologije. Najprej predstavi raziskovalne in družbene aktivnosti avtorja, potem naniza in ovrednoti vsebinske sklope njegove knjige, nato pa s primerjavo pomembnejših naravoslovnih oz. zooloških del iz 19. stoletja razkriva avtorske in teoretske vplive na Majcnovo pisanje

    Rad povezuje okolišne, komunitarne i političko-ekonomske silnice kako bi objasnio kulturnu baštinu i turizam na otoku Zlarinu (Hrvatska, Dalmacija) i u dolini Trenta (Slovenija, Alpe). Ta dva odabrana mjesta pripadaju različitim zemljopisno-kulturnim područjima i akademskim tradicijama, ali također dijele brojne zajedničke osobine, kao što su kasna kolonizacija, intenzivna poljoprivreda i prenaseljenost, pad broja stanovnika u 20. stoljeću, promjena vlasničke strukture, rani začeci turizma i korištenje inzularnosti kao prednosti u turističkoj strategiji. Komparativna analiza pruža mogućnost ponovnog promišljanja etnološkog pristupa zajednicama i kulturama kao inzularnim entitetima.This paper combines environmental, communitarian and political-economic forces to explain cultural heritage and tourism on Zlarin Island (Croatia, Dalmatia) and in the Trenta Valley (Slovenia, Alps). The two selected places belong to different geo-cultural areas and academic traditions, but also share many common features including late colonisation, intensive agriculture and overpopulation, population decline in the twentieth century, change in ownership structure, early origins of tourism and use of their insularity as an advantage in their tourism strategies. A comparative analysis offers a chance to rethink the ethnological approach to communities and cultures as insulated entities
