Thompson y María Susana Xelhuantz-LópezEtimológicamente la palabra Loltún, compuesta de Lol 'flor' y Tun 'piedra', quiere decir en lengua maya yucateco 'flor de piedra'. En la actualidad las grutas de Loltún son el sitio arqueológico que contiene la más amplia secuencia cronológica en el norte de la península de Yucatán. Por medio de los análisis de los materiales cerámicos, líticos y óseos, se sabe que los primeros cubren un periodo que va desde el año 1000 a.C., hasta el año 1250 d.C., aproximadamente. Los artefactos líticos, que pertenecen al periodo pre cerámico, han sido fechados entre los 9000 y 3000 a.C., aproximadamente, y constituyen la primera evidencia del hombre nómada en la península de Yucatán. Los materiales óseos de fauna pleistocena fueron identificados por el estudio paleontológico, que señala que existieron animales como mastodontes, bisontes, camellos, caballos, y gran variedad de mamíferos, todos ellos ya extintos.</p

Background: Today’s market offers customers many more possibilities to choose than before. With that the customer’s requirements on the company have become higher, products of the best possible quality to the less possible price when the customer demands them,specially concerning seasonal products that become out of date when the seasontime has finished. In the recent years the Supply chain management technic has gott attention because of its succesfully way to integrate the companys business processes. Demand Management is an important part of that technic since demand management is dealing with managning the demand, with the pourpose to find the balance between supply and demand. In this way the company can satisfy its custormers needs effective and creates good relationships with them. Companies that do not succeed to manage the demand, run the risk of taking away from the market. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine how Clas Ohlson handles the demand of seasonal products. Method: Because this study is a case study of Clas Olhsons demand management, the author has used personal interviews as primary material. The persons interviewed have leading positions within Clas Ohlson. The secondary material consists of information from the annual account, personnel magasine, homepage, etc. The secondary material is a complement of the primary material. In this way the problem will be analyse from different perspectives. Conclusion: Today is Clas Ohlson a successful company thanks to the companys product mix, the prices, specially seasonal products which have good prices, and the customer service. Clas Ohlson is expanding in Sweden and vill expand outside the Skandinavien in the comming years as well. The company’s business processes work good. The question is whether Clas Ohlson is going to manage to satisfy its future customers demand using its traditional methods in those business processes which have a big impact on the demand. Clas Ohlson needs to improve its informationflow. The informationflow and the materialflow have to work together more effectively. This can achive with help of modern technic within information technology. It is true that Clas Ohlson has considered the posibility to use technical solutions, but no final desicions have be made. The company was in the opinion that such solutions weren’t bring benefits to the company at the time the discussion was going on

Hospitality and the Ethics of Improvisation in the Work of Ingemar Lindh
Ingemar Lindh's work on the principles of collective improvisation has crucial implications for the history of twentieth-century laboratory theatre. His early work with Étienne Decroux and Jerzy Grotowski contributed to the development of a unique practice that resists directorial montage, fixed scores, and choreography; and the ethical dimension that accompanies Lindh's research on collective improvisation is illuminating for a more holistic understanding of the technical and aesthetic considerations in theatre. In this article, Frank Camilleri discusses some of the key aspects of this dimension, notably the dynamics of hospitality and encounter that inform Lindh's approach and the question of responsibility in the actor's work. Frank Camilleri is Lecturer in Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Kent. From 2004 to 2008 he was Academic Coordinator of Theatre Studies at the University of Malta. He is also Artistic Director of Icarus Performance Project – an ongoing research laboratory that investigates the intermediary space between training and performance processes. Camilleri's work with Lindh in the mid-1990s was instrumental for the development of this research practice

Plano de marketing para a marca Meia Flor
Mestrado em MarketingA Meia Flor é um empreendimento que atua na área da organização de eventos, de festas de aniversário e outras celebrações, através de um produto inovador, os Kits temáticos de decoração. Tendo iniciado a sua operação há menos de um ano, tornava-se imperativo a elaboração de um plano de marketing para a expansão da sua atividade. Este é o objeto de estudo deste Trabalho Final de Mestrado (TFM).
A metodologia utilizada para este TFM foi uma action research, que se revelou como sendo a abordagem mais adequada, tratando-se de uma empresa gerida pela autora. Os principais objetivos deste plano de marketing foram definidos como sendo o aumento da faturação e o aumento da notoriedade da marca. Assim, foram realizadas entrevistas semi-estruturadas a clientes e inquéritos por questionário, de modo a recolher dados relevantes para o estudo. Após definidas as estratégias, foram elaboradas as respetivas calendarização e orçamentação, que se tornam essenciais para alcançar os objetivos pretendidos.
Depois de analisados os dados, verificou-se que a marca tem pouca notoriedade e a percentagem de pessoas que a conhece, é através de amigos e familiares. Com este estudo, conclui-se que as redes sociais ainda são um ponto a melhorar e que a comunicação deve ser a vertente em que a Meia Flor precisa de investir grande parte do seu orçamento.Meia Flor is a company that operates in the market segment of event organization, birthday parties and other celebrations through an innovative product, thematic kits for party decoration. Having started its operations less than a year ago, it became an imperative to draw up a marketing plan for the expansion of its activity. That is the studding purpose of the following project.
The methodology used for this work was the action research, which came as the most appropriate approach since the company is run by the author. The main goals of this marketing plan were to lead to growth in sales and brand awareness. Thus, semi- structured interviews with clients and surveys were carried out to obtain relevant data. After outlining a strategy, the focus turned to the budget and schedule, which are essential to achieve the desired results.
After analyzing the data, it was established that the brand has still little notice and a large percentage of the people who acknowledge it come through friends and family. With this research, one can infer that the communication and social media still have room for improvement and they should be the core areas for budget allocation and investment.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
