Ivona Heřmanová Title of Bachelor Thesis: Physical activity and treatment of patients with acute coronary syndrome Abstract: The subject matter of this bachelor thesis is the relationship between acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and physiotherapy. The theoretical part summarizes up to date facts about pathophysiology, etiology, diagnostics and ways of treatment of ACS. It includes a specific form of physiotherapy used not only during in-house hospital treatment but also as a follow up treatment after patient's discharge. The aim of the practical part was to emphasize the importance and implementation of the patients' physical activity and change of their lifestyle after discharge from hospital. Anamnesis, examination and individual therapy was recorded in each patient's case history file. Feedback was obtained in a form of a questionnaire sent to patients for completion, with their prior agreement, two weeks after their discharge from the hospital.     Prodaja predstavlja proces prodaje proizvoda ili usluga potencijalnim kupcima u zamjenu za novac. U poslovnom kontekstu, prodaja je ključna funkcija koja pomaže tvrtkama u stvaranju prihoda i rastu, predstavlja sve aktivnosti usmjerene na prodaju proizvedenih proizvoda, zadovoljenje potreba potrošača. Prodaja se unaprijed planira, a samo tržište istražuje. Prodaja se smatra završenom kada potpišemo kupoprodajni ugovor ili primimo račun za određeni proizvod ili uslugu. Postoje različite organizacije prodaje, koje su jednostavne u manjim tvrtkama i one veće koje zahtijevaju složenije strukture i više razina u hijerarhiji. A to su funkcionalna organizacija prodaje, prema predmetu poslovanja odnosno proizvoda koje proizvodi, regionalna i višenamjenska te prema kategorijama kupaca. Poduzeće Kraš d.d. je Hrvatska prehrambena industrija sa sjedištem u Zagrebu koja je svojom dugom tradicijom od 110 godina prepoznatljiva na Hrvatskom tržištu a tako i diljem svijeta. Kraš d.d. je prepoznatljiv po proizvodnji i prodaji konditorskih proizvoda u 3 grupe a to su kako proizvodi, vafli i keksi te bombonski proizvodi. Uz tri tvornice u Zagrebu važan dio Kraš d.d. grupe čine dvije tvornice vafla i keksa od koje je jedna smještena u Osijeku pod nazivom Karolina d.o.o. i Mira d.o.o. Prijedor sa sjedištem u Bosni i Hercegovini. Sales are planned in advance and market research is conducted. A sale is considered completed when a sale and purchase agreement is signed or an invoice for a specific product or service is received. There are different ways in which sales can be organised, and the organisational structure is simple in smaller companies, while larger companies require more complex organisational structures with multiple levels of hierarchy. Types of organisational structures include functional organisational structure, product sales force organisational structure, geographic organisational structure, multipurpose organisational structure and customer sales force organisational structure. Kraš d.d., a Croatian food industry company with registered office in Zagreb, is distinguished on the Croatian market and worldwide due to its 110-year-long tradition of operation. Kraš d.d. is recognisable as the manufacturer and seller of confectionery products in three categories: cocoa preparations, wafers and biscuits and candies. In addition to the three factories located in Zagreb, two wafer and biscuit factories constitute important components of the Kraš Group; one of them is located in Osijek and operates under the name Karolina d.o.o., while the other is Mira d.o.o. Prijedor, with registered office in Bosnia and Herzegovina.     U zdravstvenoj njezi u kući se primjenjuju lijekovi koje, prema pacijentovom stanju i potrebama, ordinira liječnik. Djelatnici zdravstvene njege u kući su obavezni upravljati lijekovima samo kada je to jasno dokumentirano u planu njege. Primjenu ordinirane terapije vrši medicinsko osoblje koje je zaposleno u djelatnosti zdravstvene njege u kući. Ponekad primjenu ordinirane terapije moţe obavljati i pacijent samostalno ili neki član obitelji, ali ih se treba educirati o primjeni terapije kako bi se lijek primjenio na ispravan način i kako bi njegova djelotvornost bila na najvišoj razini. Upravljanje lijekovima u zdravstvenoj njezi u kući je proces visokog rizika i sklonosti pogreškama gdje medicinske sestre imaju vaţnu ulogu u očuvanju sigurnosti bolesnika. U cilju stvaranja sigurne zdravstvene zaštite, medicinske sestre trebaju prepoznati izazove s kojima se suočavaju u procesu davanja lijekova, razumjeti čimbenike koji dovode do grešaka, identificiranje grešaka i sustavno ih rješavati kako bi se spriječila njihova buduća pojava. Kao članovi zdravstvenog tima, medicinske sestre igraju ključnu ulogu u sigurnosti primjene terapije. Taj posao uključuje pripremu lijeka, izračunavanje ispravne doze, davanje lijekova bolesniku te praćenje njihovih učinaka ili nuspojava. Medicinske sestre trebaju steći potrebne kompetencije u smislu znanja i vještina kako bi profesionalno, pravno i etički djelovale vezano za skladištenje, pripremu, primjenu lijekova i njihovo sigurno odlaganje. Nakon što je steknu odgovarajuće teorijsko obrazovanje i praktičnu obuku, medicinske sestre su ovlaštene za davanje lijekova bolesniku. Stoga moraju prepoznati izazove s kojima se suočavaju u upravljanju lijekovima od pripreme do primjene i praćenja povezanih nuspojava te imaju svoju ključnu ulogu u sprječavanju pogrešaka koje se mogu dogoditi prilikom primjene i uzimanja lijekova.In home health care, medications are used which, according to the patient's condition and needs, are prescribed by a doctor. Home health care workers are required to administer medications only when clearly documented in the care plan. The application of prescribed therapy is performed by medical staff employed in the field of home health care. Sometimes the prescribed therapy can be performed by the patient alone or by a family member, but they need to be educated about the application of the therapy so that the drug is administered correctly and so that its effectiveness is at the highest level. Managing home health care medications is a high-risk, error-prone process where nurses play an important role in maintaining patient safety. In order to create safe health care, nurses need to recognize the challenges they face in the process of administering medications, understand the factors that lead to errors, identify errors, and address them systematically to prevent their future occurrence. As members of the healthcare team, nurses play a key role in the safety of therapy. This job involves preparing the medication, calculating the correct dose, giving the medication to the patient, and monitoring their effects or side effects. Nurses need to acquire the necessary competencies in terms of knowledge and skills in order to act professionally, legally and ethically in relation to the storage, preparation, administration of medicines and their safe disposal. Once they have acquired appropriate theoretical education and practical training, nurses are authorized to administer medication to the patient. Therefore, they must recognize the challenges they face in drug management from preparation to administration and monitoring of associated side effects and have a key role to play in preventing errors that may occur when administering and taking medications

    Ovaj rad istražuje percepcije potrošača o društveno odgovornom poslovanju Konzuma, s posebnim naglaskom na aspekte ekoloških inicijativa, održive nabave, lojalnosti potrošača i digitalizacije poslovnih procesa. U okviru rada ističe se važnost društveno odgovornog poslovanja te etičnosti kao ključnih čimbenika za izgradnju povjerenja i dugoročne održivosti poduzeća. Rezultati ukazuju na prepoznatljivost Konzuma kao društveno odgovorne korporacije, uz istovremenu potrebu za povećanjem transparentnosti i učinkovitijim komuniciranjem poduzetih inicijativa. Uočene su mogućnosti za unaprjeđenje ponude ekoloških proizvoda te jačanje digitalnih usluga, što je od značaja za jačanje konkurentnosti i održivosti poslovanja. Integracija etičkih načela i društvene odgovornosti predstavlja ključni element u oblikovanju povjerenja potrošača i održavanju konkurentske prednosti na tržištu.This paper investigates consumer perceptions of Konzum's corporate social responsibility, with particular emphasis on ecological initiatives, sustainable procurement, customer loyalty, and the digitalization of business processes. The study underscores the importance of socially responsible business practices and ethics as key factors in building trust and ensuring long-term sustainability. The findings indicate that Konzum is recognized as a socially responsible corporation, while also highlighting the need for increased transparency and more effective communication of its initiatives. Opportunities for improving the range of eco-friendly products and strengthening digital services have been identified, which are crucial for enhancing competitiveness and business sustainability. Integrating ethical principles and social responsibility is a fundamental element in shaping consumer trust and maintaining a competitive advantage in the marketplace

    Undisciplined censors. Transgressions and conflicts of book supervisors behind the scenes of the social discipline system

    The study is a continuation of research into human resources for censorship offices after the reform of Joseph II. The author analyses the adaptation of local censors in their positions through censorship cases, offenses and conflicts on the basis of preserved sources. It brings information about previously unnoted censors and offers a nonstereotyped perception of their role. The research shows the problems of complying with the valid regulations and the obedience of the local censors to the superior study director emerges as the most problematic area. Censors were often the authors of texts that can be regarded as pamphlets, so they tended towards the publishing activities, they were supposed to fight against. In the case of Professor at the Law Academy in Košice and censor Ignátz Gotzigh emerges a hitherto almost unknown, very interesting oppositional and peculiar personality with a non-dogmatic way of thinking. Research has shown that those who were sought after, put in their positions and paid to see to the reproduction of social obedience were not obedient themselves. From this point of view, the censorship administrations can be seen as a „hole in the fence“ protecting “the state, religion and morality”, as a weak spot in the protection of the rules and the social status quo

    The effects of Embodied Learning on learners’ vocabulary breadth and depth: a quantitative study with first-year learners of EFL in the Austrian Lower Secondary Education EFL classroom

    Bilingual word lists seem to be the mainstream approach for teaching and learning vocabulary in the Austrian EFL (English as a foreign language) classroom. Since bilingual word lists create declarative knowledge, EFL learners may fail to comprehend the meaning of the target words and therefore misuse the words. This paper proposes embodied learning (EL), the combination of physical movements with cognitive tasks, as a more effective vocabulary learning technique, and it is argued that first-year EFL learners’ vocabulary breadth and their depth of vocabulary knowledge may expand more through the implementation of EL rather than studying the target words off lists. For this purpose, an intervention of three weeks was conducted in which the intervention group learned words through EL while the control group learned the target words using bilingual word lists. Study participants were asked to complete three vocabulary tests and a questionnaire. Additionally, two interviews were conducted with one author and one editor of the Austrian EFL coursebook Way2Go! to gain insight into how current EFL coursebooks introduce vocabulary. Metódy: Nastavenie modelu pre metódu izolácie exozómov prebehlo za využitia svetelnej a fluorescenčnej mikroskopie, kedy boli stanovené podmienky experimentu - dvojhodinový interval k infekcii, kultivácia a infekcia buniek v prostredí bez obsahu séra. Pre samotnú izoláciu exozómov bol zvolený postup založený na použití diferenciálnej centrifugácie a ultracentrifugácie. K základnej charakteristike vyizolovaných exozomálnych proteínov boli využité zvolené analytické metódy - stanovenie bielkoviny pomocou kyseliny bicinchonínovej modifikované pre malé objemy a analýza pomocou dynamického rozptylu svetla. PharmDr. Ivona Pávková, Ph.D. Title of master's thesis: Isolation of exosomes produced by macrophages infected with F. tularensis Background: The main objective of the presented work was to establish and optimize a model for isolating exosomes from infected BALB/c mouse macrophages using the virulent strain of the bacterium Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica FSC200, followed by the basic characterization and identification of the isolated proteins. Methods: The model setup for the exosome isolation method was carried out using light and fluorescence microscopy, during which the experimental conditions were established - a two-hour interval for infection, and cultivation and infection of cells in a serum-free environment. For the actual isolation of exosomes, a method based on differential centrifugation and ultracentrifugation was chosen. Selected analytical methods were used for the basic characterization of the isolated proteins - protein determination using bicinchoninic acid modified for small volumes and and analysis by dynamic light scattering. It contains a summary of basic concepts and procedures related to children in preschool age, first aid, selected acute conditions of childhood and lay resuscitation of child. The empirical part was carried out by quantitative exploratory investigation. The required data were obtained from the parents of children in Kindergarten in Chrastava and Elementary school practical and Kindergarten in Hrádek nad Nisou . Based on the analysis of the data reveals gaps in knowledge work of parents in providing first aid and especially in resuscitation.
