The Effect Of Organic Liquid Fertilizer On 5 Paddy Gogo Varieties (Oryza sativa L.) In The Sub-Optimal Land Of Wamena
Paddy gogo is one type of non-irrigated paddy that can grow on limited inputs, one of which is the problem of water availability. Paddy gogo can grow on various types of soil, including sub-optimal land in Wamena. It is said to be sub-optimal considering the ability of the soil in the study area is a type of soil with very low nutrient content. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of NASA organic liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of 5 varieties of upland rice plants that were tested in the sub-optimal land of Wamena. This research was conducted in March-August 2019. The study was arranged in factorial research design, namely 5 types of varieties as factor 1 (variety of Inpago Unsoed 1, Inpago Unsoed Parimas, Inpari 28, Inpago 9 and one type of Local varieties as Comparator) and the concentration of NASA liquid organic fertilizer as a second factor (150 ml/plot). The results showed that the best growth was shown by varieties Local of Wamena (Moai) with the highest appearance of plant height and Inpago Unsoed 1 varieties which showed a large number of producing offspring. When viewed from physiological and production parameters, Inpago 9 variety shows the highest leaf area index and grain weight per clump. Furthermore, Wamena Local variety showed the highest value of stomata density, Inpago Unsoed Parimas variety showed the highest total chlorophyll value and Inpago Inpari 28 variety was the producer of the highest weight value of 1000 seeds. Keywords: Liquid Organic Fertilizer; Paddy Gogo; Sub-optimal lan

Types of nutrient sources other than from fertilizers that are known in general can also be sourced from the use of local microorganisms made from fruit, pineapple, vegetable or banana pseudo stem waste. The study aimed to compare the effectiveness of local microorganisms from pineapple and banana waste on sweet corn cultivation. The study consisted of two separate experiments, namely application of local microorganism pineapple and application of banana waste local microorganism. Each experiment used a completely randomized design consisting of 5 levels of local microorganism concentration, namely control (without local microorganism), concentration of 100 mL L-1, 150 mL L-1, 200 mL L-1 and 250 mL L-1. Each treatment consisted of three replications, so that each experiment consisted of 15 experimental units. The results showed the effectiveness of local microorganism from banana waste is better compared to local microorganism from pineapple as indicated by the of plant height, root dry weight, leaf area, relative growth of plant and corn ear without husk at 8 WAP.

PEMBERDAYAAN KELOMPOK TANI KAMPUNG TEMIA, DISTRIK MUSATFAK MELALUI PEMBUATAN PUPUK ORGANIK PADAT (KOMPOS) UNTUK MENDUKUNG PERTANIAN ORGANIK DI KABUPATEN JAYAWIJAYA
Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan Kelompok Tani Kampung Temia (Distrik Musatfak, Jayawijaya) melalui pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik padat (kompos) berbahan lokal.
Local food agribusiness in Wamena holds significant potential but still faces various fundamental challenges in its development. This study aims to examine the potential, constraints, and perspectives of local farmers regarding the development of local food-based agribusiness in Wamena, Papua Highlands. A structured survey was conducted with 10 farmers to explore current conditions and the strategies needed. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was applied to objectively determine strategic priorities for agribusiness development through pairwise comparisons and consistency tests. The findings indicate that commodities such as sweet potatoes, taro, and cassava have high market potential; however, their development is hindered by limited capital, restricted access to modern agricultural technology, inadequate transportation and storage infrastructure, and insufficient distribution networks. The AHP analysis identified three main priorities: integrating local wisdom with innovation, strengthening the role of local government and customary institutions, and reinforcing farmer organizations accompanied by digital marketing assistance. These findings highlight the importance of collaboration between local cultural practices and technological innovation to build a sustainable agribusiness system. Government policy support, infrastructure development, and digital-based training are key factors in enhancing the competitiveness of Wamena’s local food products. Thus, this study provides strategic recommendations for government, customary institutions, and other stakeholders to foster the development of inclusive, adaptive, and competitive local food agribusiness in broader markets
