A framework for data privacy protection on social media
Data privacy and security on social media is one of the biggest concerns today. In addition to malicious users and third parties, user data is also being misused by social media platforms. The objective of this project is to design and develop a blockchain-based decentralized framework that prevents users' original data from being accessible to social media platforms and taken ownership of it. The application is built on the Ethereum blockchain-based distributed computing platform, with frontend designed and developed in React web framework. Users' profile information, post contents, and friend list details are saved on IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). The hash value generated by IPFS is stored on the blockchain in an encrypted form, which can be only decrypted by authorized users. Developing and deploying the application on blockchain and storing users' data on IPFS will make the application completely distributed, where a single authority does not own users' data

A rare case of cervical agenesis with agenesis of the upper 2/3rd vagina with hematometra
Cervical agenesis is an extremely rare form of congenital Mullerian anomaly. Due to the rarity of the cases with different presentations ranging from cervical agenesis to dysgenesis (fragmentation, fibrous cord, obstruction of external os), along with the functionality of the uterus, there are numerous conservative surgical options involving uterovaginal anastomosis, cervical reconstruction, and cervical canalization, and total hysterectomy in cases where conservative surgical procedures fail or not feasible. In our case, the patient was a 32-year-old female with primary amenorrhea with, a history of marriage for 6 years and a history of surgery for primary amenorrhea during adolescence. During the present visit, she had severe abdominal pain due to massive hematometra with a short blind vagina. She was planned for laparoscopic Uterovaginal anastomosis but converted to abdominal hysterectomy due to the large size of uterus, lack of uterine supports, and high length of the defect between the lower end of the uterus and vaginal end. Due to the lack of proper guidelines and variations in clinical presentation, a case-based approach is required
Study of clinical profile and outcome in pregnancy related acute kidney injury
Background: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a clinical syndrome characterized by a sudden decrease in glomerular filtration rate leading to decreased excretion of nitrogenous waste like urea, creatinine and other uremic toxin. Even minor changes in serum creatinine are associated with increased in-patient mortality. To study various etiological factors responsible for AKI to do better management of condition for prevention of adverse effects on maternal and fatal outcome. To study outcome of disease in form of recovery, morbidity and mortality. To record maternal and foetal outcome.
Methods: A prospective, observational study of 50 patients conducted at department of obstetrics and gynaecology, Medical College Baroda and Sir Sayajirao General Hospital from the time period of 1 year.
Results: There was no significant association of initial serum creatinine with maternal outcome. However, there was significant association of last serum creatinine and Percentage Improvement in serum creatinine with maternal outcome as last serum creatinine was significantly lowest in completely recovered patients as compared to dead and discharged on request patients and percentage Improvement in serum creatinine was significantly high in completely recovered patients as compared to dead and discharged on request patients. There was no significant association of initial and last serum creatinine with fetal outcome; however, percentage improvement in serum creatinine was significantly high in alive fetuses as compared to aborted, dead and undelivered fetuses.
Conclusions: Pregnancy-related AKI is a common medical problem and understanding its association with various etiopathologies has significant impacts on maternal and fetal outcome
