No full textAnhand der Entstehungsdokumente zu Stockhausens Gesang der Junglinge rekonstruieren P. Decroupet und E. Ungeheuer die Genese dieses Werks, das in der Geschichte des seriellen Denkens eine Schliisselposition einnimmt. Die Untersuchung der verschiedenen Entwiirfe und Duchfiihrungspartituren ist gerade fiir die elektronische Musik besonders wichtig. Sie erôffnet die Môglichkeit, die Organisationskriterien des Tonmaterials auf der Mikro-Ebene des Timbres nachzuzeichnen. Sie erlaubt auBerdem eine hôchst detaillierte Analyse des Stiicks und gewâhrt Einblick in die Ànderungen, die das Kompositionsprojekt wâhrend der Ausarbeitung erfuhr.Pascal Decroupet and Elena Ungeheuer reconstitute the elaboration of Karlheinz Stockhausen's key-work in the history of serial musical thought : Gesang der Jiinglinge. The investigation of the various sketches et worksheets is particularly useful in the case of electronic music : it allows to trace the criteria for the organisation of sound material back to its most intimate dimension : timbre. It also allows a most detailed analysis of the piece, taking into account the modifications in the compositional project during its realization.Partendo dai documenti di genesi del Gesang der Junglinge di Karlheinz Stockhausen, Pascal Decroupet e Elena Ungeheuer ricostruiscono il processo di elaborazione di quest 'opera-chiave nella storia del pensiero seriale. Lo studio dei diversi schizzi e delle partizioni è particolarmente prezioso per la musica elettronica, e rende possibile ripercorrere i criteri d'organizzazione che modellano la materia sonora nella sua più infima dimensione -quella del timbro. Essa permette inoltre un'analisi dettagliata del brano un chiarimento delle modificazioni del progetto compositivo nel corso délia sua realizzazione.A partir des documents de genèse de Gesang der Jiinglinge de Karlheinz Stockhausen, Pascal Decroupet et Elena Ungeheuer reconstituent le travail d'élaboration de cette œuvre-clef dans l'histoire de la pensée sérielle. L'étude des diverses esquisses et partitions de réalisation s'avère particulièrement précieuse pour la musique électronique : il devient possible de retracer les critères d'organisation qui informent la matière sonore dans sa dimension la plus infime -le timbre. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
