Conocimiento de los aceites de oliva por los estudiantes de la UJA: Un estudio exploratorio
No full text[ES] Desde los comienzos de la civilización del Mediterráneo, el aceite de oliva siempre ha sido considerado como un producto emblemático a la vez que importante para España. Teniendo en cuenta lo que supone este sector oleícola para la economía española, no cabe duda de que es necesario seguir difundiendo el buen conocimiento y promover las buenas prácticas de manera que sigamos siendo la referencia mundial .Esta es la razón por la que se decidió realizar este trabajo en el que se pretende conocer y analizar diferentes aspectos del sector oleícola español, además de evaluar a través de una encuesta el grado de conocimiento y hábitos de consumo de los estudiantes de la UJA. Una vez analizadas las respuestas con las variables que entran en juego, destacar que se han obtenido resultados que están por debajo de lo esperado y que en definitiva muestran un conocimiento moderado de los estudiantes.[EN] Since the beginnings of the Mediterranean civilization, olive oil has been always considered as an emblematic and important product for Spain. Taking into account what means this olive sector for the Spanish economy, there`s no doubt of the need to spread knowledge and promote the good practices in order to keep being the global reference. This is the reason why we decided to carry out this work in which we pretend to know and analyze different aspects of the Spanish oil sector, as well as an evaluation through a survey of the degree of knowledge and the UJA students’ consumer habits. Once the sampling is analyzed with the variables that come into play, highlight that the results obtained are below what was expected to be and ultimately, show a moderate knowledge of those students

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. El comportamiento del consumidor y la demanda de aceites vegetales en España: oliva virgen versus oliva/girasol
No full textEn este trabajo nos proponemos evaluar las posibilidades de incremento de la demanda de aceite de oliva virgen en el mercado español. Para ello, analizamos tanto la situación y evolución de la demanda de este producto en el marco del conjunto de los aceites vegetales comestibles como el comportamiento de compra de los consumidores españoles. Los datos en los que nos apoyamos para conseguir el primero de los objetivos proceden de estimaciones propias, obtenidas mediante un modelo a partir de estadísticas oficiales, considerando las grandes diferencias en los datos que las mismas ofrecen. Respecto del comportamiento del consumidor, la información procede de una investigación propia. Los análisis efectuados apuntan a que es factible incrementar el consumo de aceite de oliva virgen en el mercado español, para lo que es preciso implantar estrategias de diferenciación y posicionamiento, destinadas a segmentos de mercado específicos que localizamos en este trabajo
