South Asian Integration Prospects and Lessons from East Asia
In the context of the low levels of regional cooperation among South Asian countries when compared with the successful results from cooperation in East Asia (consisting of South East and East Asian countries), the objective of this paper is first to assess the prospects of cooperation among South Asian economies and then to draw lessons from East Asian regional experiments for South Asian regionalism for the betterment of these prospects. The main argument of the paper is that South Asia should adopt a twin-track approach : better integration within itself and better integration with rest of the world particularly East Asia. Both tracks would complement and supplement each other ensuring a greater chance of success.South Asian integration prospects, Lessons from East Asian regionalism, Open regionalism, Asian development
Synthesis and characterisation of CoFe2O4 + CaCu3Ti4O12composite of ferrite
Composite of cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) and CCTO are fabricated by chemical route method and its dielectric and structural properties are investigated. The composite powder fired at and above 8000c and have perovskite structure. The composite then formed pellet and sintered at 9000C. It possess of both magnetic as well as dielectric property simultaneously. With X-ray diffraction, the phase transformation is confirmed. By the help of SEM characterization, the surface morphology of composite is confirmed. With EDAX images the percentage of elements in composite is also confirmed. Its dielectric properties have been studied in the temperature range 300-700 K. It is found that dielectric constant (ɛ) increases with increase in temperature. The dielectric loss increases with increase in temperature, irrespective of CCTO transition temperature, that ensures the semiconducting nature or thermally activated mechanism of conduction in the composites

Bibliographics for the 983 eprints in the live archives of E-LIS : trends and status report up to 7th July 2004, based on author-self-archiving metadata
The priority for ideas and philosophy related to "Network Theory" have been traced back and documented by Braun(2004),and credit goes to Karinthy(1929).The IT has empowered to realise it, as the most practical phenomena and it is no more a humour. The OAI (Open Archives Initiatives)and ACIS (Academic Contributor Information System)are progressive in the direction ,which may lead to realise the "Collective Genius" at global level. Focus of present study is on Author-Self-Archiving (A-S-A)Metadata of the 983 Eprints in the Live Archives of the E-LIS (EPrints of Library and Information Science),which were approved till 7th July 2004.The A-S-A Metadata was used for librametric analysis. Self-explanatory bibliographics are illustrated. The highlights include: Conference papers (34%); highest approval, June 2004 (28%); published archives (76%);not refereed (52%); not in public domain (60%); highest self-archiving-author (De Robbio, Antonella). The Nos. of EPrints having single JITA domain specifications were: Theoretical and general aspects of libraries and information(27); Information use and sociology of information(80);Users,literacy and reading(13);Libraries as physical collections(30);Publishing and legal issues(57);Management(13);Industry, profession and education(36);Information sources, supports, channels(113) ; Information treatment for information services, Information functions and techniques (101); Technical services libraries, archives and museums(25); Housing technologies(1); Information technology and library technology(92); and Inter-domainery (395) i.e. having specifications of two or more than two JITA classes
Machine Learning Based Model for Prediction of Autism Spectrum Disorder
Abstract: Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects a person's interaction, communication and learning skills. Although diagnosis of autism can be done at any age, its symptoms generally appear in the first two years of life and develop through time. Autism patients face different types of challenges such as difficulties with concentration, learning disabilities, mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, motor difficulties, sensory problems, and many others. Diagnosis of autism requires significant amount of time and cost. Earlier detection of autism can come to a great help by prescribing patients with proper medication at an early stage. It can prevent the patient's condition from deteriorating further and would help to reduce long term costs associated with delayed diagnosis. Thus, an efficient, accurate and easy screening test tool is very much required which would predict autism traits in an individual. The main idea behind this project is to detect autism spectrum disorder in an individual (male/female). This project is implemented by making use of a Machine Learning model using parameters such as an individual's age, gender, ethnicity, Autism Quotient Tool. The detection derived from this project will help an individual to get required diagnosis in time to prevent further complications of developing Alzheimer's disease.
Keywords: machine learning, autism spectrum disorder, parameters, autism quotient tool.

Current status report of Do-228 aircraft's composite rudder13; development
This report is based on the study undertaken by the author during his seven week visit to DFVLR, Braunschweig in the months November-December 1986. Status of project was reviewed. Design studies of NAL and DFVLR were compared and final design of rudder was arrived at. The mechanical connections of composite rudder with the rest of the structure were discussed. The joint design proposed by DFVLR was found to be satisfactory. Material testing for airworthiness requirements was extensively discussed and a test plan as per DIN standards was finalised. A Program of work on repair technology which forms an essential part of any component development for aeronautical structures was evolved
Informetrics on M. N. Srinivas
M. N. Srinivas, the well known sociologist is widely recognised as architect of modern Indian sociology and social anthropology. His publications have been analysed by year, domain, authorship pattern, channels of communication used. Keywords, etc. The results indicate that the papers published by him are of a nature that qualify him to be a 'role model' for the younger generations to emulate.
By the end of 1995, Srinivas had to his credit 144 papers which, included 33 broad papers in sociology and anthropology; 18 papers in social change; 28 papers in village studies; 12 papers on religion; 17 papers on caste and 36 papers of general popular interest. The periods 1958-61 and 1974-77, when Srinivas was 38-41 and 58-61 years old. were his most productive periods with highest publication activity
