Gangguan Fase Generatif Akibat Genangan Berulang pada Cabai Rawit
Cayenne pepper is a cultivated plant that is susceptible to flooding caused by poor drainage systems on agricultural land. Plants are more sensitive to flooding in the generative phase. The generative phase of the plant begins when it is approaching the flowering process until it bears fruit. The objectives of this study to examined the impact of cayenne pepper cultivar selection and repeated flooding on the average flowering time, fruiting time and the percentage of fruit loss. Three types of cayenne pepper cultivars were used, namely Mhanu XR, Sret and Cakra Hijau. Repeated flooding treatments were flooding 1 time, 2 times, 3 times and control without flooding. The data were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA statistical test. The results indicated that cultivar selection had a significant influence on the average flowering time, fruiting and fruit loss percentage. Meanwhile, repeated flooding and interaction between cultivars and repeated flooding had no significant effect on flowering time, fruiting and the percentage of fruit loss. The conclusion shows that the three cultivars of cayenne pepper have different responses to repeated flooding on the parameters of the time of flowering, fruiting and the percentage of fruit loss with the most adaptive cultivar, namely Cakra Hijau. The Cakra Hijau cultivar can be a good candidate in poor drainage than the Mhanu XR and Sret cultivars.Cabai rawit adalah tanaman budidaya yang rentan terhadap genangan air yang diakibatkan oleh sistem drainase yang buruk pada lahan pertanian. Tanaman lebih peka terhadap genangan pada fase generatif. Fase generatif tanaman dimulai ketika menjelang proses berbunga sampai berbuah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji penentuan kultivar cabai rawit dan genangan berulang terhadap waktu berbunga, waktu berbuah dan persentase kerontokan buah. Tiga macam kultivar cabai rawit yang digunakan yaitu Mhanu XR, Sret dan Cakra Hijau. Perlakuan genangan berulang yaitu genangan 1 kali, genangan 2 kali, genangan 3 kali dan kontrol (tanpa genangan). Data pengamatan selanjutnya diuji statistik ANOVA dua arah. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa penentuan kultivar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap waktu berbunga, berbuah dan persentase kerontokan buah. Sedangkan genangan berulang dan interaksi antara kultivar dengan genangan berulang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap waktu berbunga, berbuah dan persentase kerontokan buah. Kesimpulan memperlihatkan bahwa ketiga kultivar cabai rawit memiliki respon yang berbeda terhadap genangan berulang pada parameter waktu berbunga, berbuah dan persentase kerontokan buah dengan kultivar paling adaptif yaitu Cakra Hijau. Kultivar Cakra Hijau dapat menjadi kandidat yang baik pada lahan dengan drainase yang buruk daripada kultivar Mhanu XR dan Sret
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Respon Morfo-Fisiologis Cabai Rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) terhadap Genangan Air dan Pemberian Bakteri Rhizosfer Leguminosae
Cayenne pepper is known to be susceptible to various types of flooding by showing various negative responses. This study seeks to ascertain the influence of PGPR on the adverse effects of floods on cayenne pepper as a means to mitigate farmer losses. The study used a completely randomized design on cayenne pepper which was given treatments in the form of control without PGPR (K(-)), control with PGPR (K(+)), flooding treatment for 2 days with PGPR 7 days later (P(+)) and without PGPR (P(-)) each with 10 reps. The two-way ANOVA test reflected that flooding had a significant effect on the response of plant height increase, petiole curvature angle, and wilting. In contrast, PGPR application had a significant effect on plant height increase and number of branches. The interaction of flooding and PGPR application significantly affects the increase in plant height but not the number of leaves, the number of branches, the angle of curvature of the petiole, and wilting. It was concluded that the application of PGPR can reduce the adverse effects of flooding on cayenne pepper farming.Cabai rawit diketahui rentan terhadap berbagai jenis banjir dengan menunjukkan berbagai respon negatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran PGPR terhadap dampak negatif genangan air pada tanaman cabai rawit sebagai salah satu solusi untuk mengurangi kerugian petani. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pada cabai rawit yang diberikan perlakuan berupa kontrol tanpa PGPR (K(-)), kontrol dengan PGPR (K(+)), perlakuan genangan air selama 2 hari dengan pemberian PGPR 7 hari setelahnya (P(+)) dan tanpa pemberian PGPR (P(-)). Hasil uji two way Anova menunjukkan bahwa genangan air berpengaruh signifikan terhadap respon pertambahan tinggi tanaman, sudut kelengkungan tangkai daun dan kelayuan sedangkan pemberian PGPR berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertambahan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang. Interaksi genangan air dan pemberian PGPR berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertambahan tinggi tanaman namun tidak pada jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, sudut kelengkungan tangkai daun dan kelayuan. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian PGPR dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi dampak buruk genangan air pada pertanian cabai rawit terutama memacu pertambahan tinggi tanaman untuk menghindari stres berlebih akibat genangan air
Diversifikasi produk untuk meningkatkan variasi minuman telang Kampung Proklim Kelurahan Baturetno Kabupaten Tuban Jawa Timur melalui teknik fermentasi
Abstrak Kelurahan Baturetno Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur bersama kader lingkungan telah meraih sertifikasi kampung ProKlim utama pada tahun 2023. Salah satu upaya mitigasi dampak perubahan iklim yang dilakukan oleh kampung ini adalah dengan menanam tanaman toga di pekarangan dan ruang terbuka hijau. Tanaman telang banyak dibudidayakan di kampung ini. Kader lingkungan membina beberapa pembuat minuman herbal dari bunga telang. Namun variasi minuman bunga telang yang dihasilkan hanya telang kering dan telang mix herbal lain. Oleh karena itu Tim PKM melakukan pendampingan untuk melakukan diversifikasi produk minuman telang Kampung Proklim Baturetno melalui teknik fermentasi. Metode yang digunakan tim PKM dalam kegiatan ini adalah a) tahap pra pendampingan yaitu melakukan observasi dan wawancara untuk mendapatkan permasalahan mitra, b) tahap pendampingan yaitu dengan melakukan uji coba resep dan teknik pembuatan minuman telang terfermentasi sekaligus uji hedonik serta transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kepada mitra terkait pembuatan minuman bunga telang terfermentasi, c) tahap pasca pendampingan yaitu dengan melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi untuk mengukur keberhasilan program. Hasil pengabdian ini yaitu pada kegiatan didapatkan resep dan teknik pembuatan minuman telang terfermentasi yang hasilnya disukai panelis. Selain itu resep dan teknik yang didapatkan sangat sederhana sehingga mudah diaplikasikan mitra. Kata kunci: baturetno; fermentasi; diversifikasi; minuman; telang. Abstract Baturetno Village, Tuban District, Tuban Regency, East Java, together with environmental cadres, has achieved the main ProKlim village certification in 2023. One of the efforts to mitigate the impact of climate change carried out by this village is by planting toga plants in yards and green open spaces. Butterfly pea plants are one of the most widely cultivated plants in this village. The neighborhood cadre has guided some people to make herbal drinks from butterfly pea flowers. However, the only variations of butterfly pea flower drinks produced are dried butterfly pea and butterfly pea mixed with other herbs.. Therefore, the PKM Team provided assistance to diversify butterfly pea drinks products in Baturetno Proklim Village through fermentation techniques. The methods used by the PKM team in this community service activity are a) the pre-support stage, namely conducting in-depth observations and interviews to get an overview of partner problems, b) the assistance stage, namely testing recipes and techniques for making fermented batterfly pea drinks as well as hedonic tests and transferring science and technology to partners related to making fermented butterfly pea flower drinks, c) the post-support stage, namely conducting monitoring and evaluation to measure the success of the program. The result of this community service was the discovery of a recipe and technique for making fermented butterfly pea drinks that were liked by the panelists.. Struktur komunitas hama tiga kultivar cabai rawit pada pengaplikasian pestisida nabati
The utilization of plant-based pesticides and the selection of cultivars of cayenne pepper have not been well optimized by farmers. The purpose of the study was to analyze the types of cayenne pepper pests, examine the association of cayenne pepper cultivars against pest attacks, and analyze the application of plant-based pesticides to pest visits. The research method is experimental with a completely randomized design. The samples of this study are Sret, Mhanu XR, and Cakra Hijau. The research instrument is observation sheets of pest communities before and after the application of plant-based pesticides. The type and number of pests are directly observed and identified in the laboratory. Data on the influence of cayenne pepper cultivar on pest populations were analyzed by ANOVA test while the effect of using plant-based pesticides using t-test. The results showed that pests such as Aphis sp., Polyphagotarsonemus sp., Thrips sp., Bactrocera sp. and Chrysodeixis sp.. Statistical tests showed cayenne pepper cultivar did not influence pest visits while the application of plant-based pesticides had a effect on the decrease in Thrips sp. and Aphis sp.. The conclusion of this study, namely five types of pests attack three cayenne pepper cultivars, the selection of three cayenne pepper cultivars does not affect pest visits, and the application of plant-based pesticides can reduce the number of pest visits Thrips sp. and Aphis sp. significantly
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
