Three crystal structures of Ni compounds containing bis(pyridine-2-carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone) ligand (HL), namely (pyridine-2-carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazonato)(pyridine-2-carbaldeyde thiosemicarbazone) nickel(II) nitrate hydrate [Ni(HL)L][NO3]⋅(H2O) (1), bis(pyridine-2-carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone) nickel(II) dinitrate [Ni(HL)2][NO3]2⋅(2a), and bis(pyridine-2-carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone) nickel(II) dinitrate dihydrate [Ni(HL)2][NO3]2⋅2(H2O) (2b) are determined by X ray diffraction methods. Comparative structural studies are carried out

Determination of uranium by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography

In this paper a new chromatographic procedure is proposed; this procedure is based on the separation and determination of U02'+ as a neutral complex, using reversed-phase chromatography and spectrophotometric detection. Examples of chromatographic separation of UOZ2+a s a complex have been already reported, in most cases using TLC and paper chromatography

Behaviour of tetrahedral nickel-triosmium carbonyl cluster and its monosubstitued derivatives with group V donor ligands in high-performance liquid cromatography

The chromatographic behaviour of some monosubstituted derivatives of the tetranuclear cluster (Cp)NiOs3 (μH)3(CO)9 (Cp = cyclopentadienyl) with groupVdonorligands (benzonitrile tertiary phosphines, triphenylamine and triphenylstibine) is reported. In reversed-phase and adsorption liquid chromatography, the kind of the substituents strongly influences the retention volumes, the dimension of the whole cluster having less effect. Correlations of retention volumes with the nature of the substituents were found only for small of compound
