Jalan Raya II Ujungrusi adalah jalur alternatif yang menghubungkan
Kabupaten Tegal dan Kota Tegal, digunakan berbagai kendaraan setiap hari. Jalan
ini memiliki persimpangan tiga ruas dengan kondisi berbeda baik secara ukuran
maupun elevasi, tanpa rambu, marka jalan yang kurang jelas, serta garis pemisah
yang memudar, membingungkan pengguna jalan. Keberadaan restoran, warung,
dan pedagang kaki lima menyebabkan arus lalu lintas tidak teratur, diperparah oleh
parkir sembarangan dan ketiadaan trotoar yang membahayakan pejalan kaki.
Simpang ini juga tidak memiliki lampu lalu lintas (APILL), sehingga sering terjadi
kemacetan, terutama pada jam sibuk. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis dan solusi
untuk mengatasi permasalahan di persimpangan ini.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hambatan
samping yang menyebabkan kemacetan lalu lintas, menganalisis kinerja simpang,
mengetahui tingkat kemacetan dengan mengacu pada metode Manual Kapasitas
Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997) serta memberi solusi penanganan alternatif
kemacetan lalu lintas pada Simpang Tiga Tak Bersinyal Pada Jalan Raya II
Ujungrusi Kec.Adiwerna Kab.Tegal.
Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dimulai dengan meninjau lokasi
dan pengambilan data di persimpangan tersebut. Jadwal pengamatan dibuat
sebelum pengambilan data dilapangan untuk menentukan hari dan jam pengambilan
data lalu lintas. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Adapun data
primer adalah kondisi arus lalu lintas, geometrik persimpangan dan kondisi
lingkungan, sedangkan data sekunder berupa pertumbuhan penduduk dan peta
jaringan jalan. Data tersebut diolah berdasarkan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia
(MKJI, 1997).
Dari hasil pengamatan pada lokasi diketahui volume lalu lintas yang terjadi
pada jam puncak pada hari senin antara jam 06.00 – 08.00 WIB, hambatan samping
yang tergolong dalam kelas sedang (M). Kapasitas simpang 2294,52 smp/jam,
Derajat Kejenuhan (DS) = 1,185, Tundaan Simpang (D) = 36,97 detik/smp, Peluang
Antrian (QP%) adalah 115,85 untuk batas atas dan 57,16 untuk batas bawah,
Tingkat Pelayanan Simpang (LoS) dalam tingkat D (25,1 – 40 detik/smp) atau
dalam kategori kurang.

ABSTRACT

Intersection Using Traffic Management on Jalan Raya II Ujungrusi, Adiwerna

Jalan Raya II Ujungrusi is an alternative route connecting Tegal Regency and
Tegal City, used by various vehicles every day. This road has three-way
intersections with different conditions both in size and elevation, without signs,
unclear road markings, and faded dividing lines, confusing road users. The
presence of restaurants, stalls, and street vendors causes irregular traffic flow,
exacerbated by haphazard parking and the absence of sidewalks that endanger
pedestrians. This intersection also does not have traffic lights (APILL), so
congestion often occurs, especially during rush hour. Therefore, analysis and
solutions are needed to overcome the problems at this intersection.
The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of side obstacles that
cause traffic congestion, analyze intersection performance, determine the level of
congestion by referring to the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997)
method and provide alternative solutions for handling traffic congestion at the
Unsignalized Three-Way Intersection on Jalan Raya II Ujungrusi, Adiwerna
District, Tegal Regency.
The method used in this study began by reviewing the location and collecting
data at the intersection. An observation schedule was made before data collection
in the field to determine the day and time of traffic data collection. This study uses
primary and secondary data. The primary data are traffic flow conditions,
intersection geometry and environmental conditions, while secondary data are in
the form of population growth and road network maps. The data is processed based
on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997).
From the results of observations at the location, it is known that the traffic
volume that occurs during peak hours on Monday between 06.00 - 08.00 WIB, side
obstacles are classified as moderate (M). Intersection capacity 2294.52 smp/hour,
Degree of Saturation (DS) = 1.185, Intersection Delay (D) = 36.97 seconds/smp,
Queue Probability (QP%) is 115.85 for the upper limit and 57.16 for the lower
limit, Intersection Service Level (LoS) is in level D (25.1 – 40 seconds/smp) or in
the less category.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
