No full textThe paper examines heritage anti-aircraft protection during the Great War in Ancona and Loreto. The most novel elements relate to the defense of the basilica of Loreto. The recovered correspondence documents Corrado Ricci's concern for the vaults, particularly for the portion housing the cycles by Melozzo da Forlì and Luca Signorelli, for the historiated stained glass windows and the complex votive and decorative apparatuses inside. Organized by the Royal Commissioner of the Worship Fund Administration, the protection activities also involved the concealment of enameled or coral ecclesiastical jewelry and furnishings. By the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the Holy House had been enriched by the first nucleus of paintings in the present Museum of the Ancient Treasure. The documentation found provides elements on the revision of painting schools innervated by the Regional Exhibitions of the early twentieth century and also attests to the critical fortune that followed the early Berenson. The article presents the criteria by which the museum was opened to the public after the cessation of the conflict, following the style setting criteria adopted by Luigi Serra

The investigation contextualizes the event within the framework of the traditional biennial exhibitions organized by the Municipality of Venice, before and after the Second World
War. Through a rare photo-iconographic apparatus, the text documents the installation conducted by Egle Renata Trincanato. The discussion extends to the international critical
reception of Carlo Crivelli, attempting to offer an interpretation linked to the different international orientations between the Eighteenth and Nineteenth centuries. The conclusions
focus on the evolution of Pietro Zampetti’s critical thinking regarding the late Crivelli, the artistic environment between the Ducati of Urbino and Camerino and the Marcha of Ancona,
towards a progressive approach to a modern concept of Adriatic figurative culture

No full textIl contributo esamina la storia del patrimonio civico di Ancona, oggetto nel 1919 del riallestimento di Luigi Serra e sembrato in diversi nucleo a seguito dell’annessione della Pinacoteca civica al Museo archeologico nazionale, condotta a termine fra il 1928 e il 1929. L’indagine presenta fonti documentarie circa lo stato patrimoniale delle collezioni, prime note sulla dispersione dei cimeli di Francesco Podesti, notizie sulle politiche conservative e sugli atti di deposito siglati nei primi anni Trenta, fra i quali l’inedita collezione di Enrico Milano.
Il secondo capitol analizza puntualmente l’attività delle Soprintendenze marchigiane, dai piani preventivi di salvaguardia alle operazioni di protezione poste in essere per il patrimonio regionale. Il contributo illustra inoltre l’attivazione nelle Marche dei ricoveri interregionali, presentando documenti inediti sull’operato di Pasquale Rotondi e chiarendo pertanto l’organizzazione, le tempistiche e l’effettiva consistenza del patrimonio posto in sicurezza a Sassocorvaro e Carpegna.
La ricerca prosegue con uno studio inedito sull’attività dei monument officers nelle Marche, dove agirono in stretta collaborazione con gli uffici di tutela per le operazioni di primo intervento.The first paper examines the history of the civic heritage of Ancona, subject in 1919 of the rearrangement of Luigi Serra. The collection was divided in a number of core as a result of the annexation of the Civic Art Gallery at the National Archaeological Museum, between 1928 and 1929. The survey presents documentary sources about the balance sheet of the collections, the first notes on the dispersion of relics of Francesco Podesti, news on conservative policies and on the filing of documents signed in the early thirties, including the private collection of Enrico Milano.
The second paper meticulously analyses the activities of PPAA in Le Marche, from precautionary safety plans to measures taken to protect the region’s artistic heritage. The parer also describes the work of interregional recovery organizations in Le Marche, through an examination of previously unpublished documents about Pasquale Rotondi, relating to the organization, timing, and actual composition of the artistic and cultural objects brought to safety in Sassocorvaro e Carpegna.
Also describing various steps taken in Le Marche to safeguard their cultural and artistic heritage, even seeking to repatriate stolen items by the operation of Allied Sub-Commissions
