The theoretical base and the desighn of the pedagogic sample-lesson are shown in five chapters:
1. The importance of lessons in literature for the patriotic education of pupils.
2. The personalities and the patriotic poetry of Vilis Pludons and Andrejs Eglitis in the context of teaching lessons in literature.
3. The preparation of the teacher for his lessons with the pupils.
4. The sequence of the lessons which are dedicated to the personalities and the poetry of Vilis Pludons and Andrejs Eglitis.
5. The analysis and evaluation of the results of the lesson and of the interaction between the pupils and the teacher.
The first chapter is dedicated to the importance of literature lessons for the patriotic education of pupils. The second chapter is dedicated to the exploration of the personalities and the patriotic poetry of Vilis Pludons and Andrejs Eglitis. The third chapter is dedicated to the exploration of the special situation of youngers in this age-groupe, pupils of the class who will be part of the proble will be characterized. The preparation of the teacher for this lessons will be described including the programatic planning of his lesson. In the fourth chapter the development of the lessons which are about the personalities and the poetic creations of Vilis Pludons and Andrejs Eglitis will be described. In the fifth chapter the author analyses the interaction between the pupils and their teacher. In the appendix the author shows pedagogical materials he has prepeared for his lessons and what kind of examples he expects the pupils would create in these lessons.
The effectiveness of the pedagogical system has been examined in the pedagogical probe. This diplom-task is not only interesting for students but also for teachers of Latvian language and literature in middle-schools and other people in the pedagogical sphere

Nightside studies of coherent HF radar spectral width behaviour
A previous case study found a relationship between high spectral width measured by the CUTLASS Finland HF radar and elevated electron temperatures observed by the EISCAT and ESR incoherent scatter radars in the post-midnight sector of magnetic local time. This paper expands that work by briefly re-examining that interval and looking in depth at two further case studies. In all three cases a region of high HF spectral width (>200 ms-1) exists poleward of a region of low HF spectral width (<200 ms-1). Each case, however, occurs under quite different geomagnetic conditions. The original case study occurred during an interval with no observed electrojet activity, the second study during a transition from quiet to active conditions with a clear band of ion frictional heating indicating the location of the flow reversal boundary, and the third during an isolated sub-storm. These case studies indicate that the relationship between elevated electron temperature and high HF radar spectral width appears on closed field lines after 03:00 magnetic local time (MLT) on the nightside. It is not clear whether the same relationship would hold on open field lines, since our analysis of this relationship is restricted in latitude. We find two important properties of high spectral width data on the nightside. Firstly the high spectral width values occur on both open and closed field lines, and secondly that the power spectra which exhibit high widths are both single-peak and multiple-peak. In general the regions of high spectral width (>200 ms-1) have more multiple-peak spectra than the regions of low spectral widths whilst still maintaining a majority of single-peak spectra. We also find that the region of ion frictional heating is collocated with many multiple-peak HF spectra. Several mechanisms for the generation of high spectral width have been proposed which would produce multiple-peak spectra, these are discussed in relation to the data presented here. Since the regions of high spectral width are observed both on closed and open field lines the use of the boundary between low and high spectral width as an ionospheric proxy for the open/closed field line boundary is not a simple matter, if indeed it is possible at all

Influence of Test Protocols on Biometric Recognition Performance Estimation
The performance of a biometric system is commonly evaluated by the obtained recognition rates and comparing the results against the ones reported in the literature on the same database. An aspect that has not received the deserved attention in the literature concerns the influence, on the achieved rates, of the test protocol employed to select the enrol and probe data. We provide a detailed analysis of the impact of the experimental choices on the estimated performance, considering the recom-mendations provided by ISO/IEC 19795 standard. We use the UTFVP finger vein database, reproducing results presented in the literature using multiple protocols. Our experiments highlight the possibility of obtaining equal error rates reduced by half simply by changing the test protocol

Solar wind control of magnetospheric energy content: substrom quenching and multiple onsets
In this paper we report coordinated multispacecraft and ground-based observations of a double substorm onset close to Scandinavia on November 17, 1996. The Wind and the Geotail spacecraft, which were located in the solar wind and the subsolar magnetosheath, respectively, recorded two periods of southward directed interplanetary magnetic field (IMF). These periods were separated by a short northward IMF excursion associated with a solar wind pressure pulse, which compressed the magnetosphere to such a degree that Geotail for a short period was located outside the bow shock. The first period of southward IMF initiated a substorm growth. phase, which was clearly detected by an array of ground-based instrumentation and by Interball in the northern tail lobe. A first substorm onset occurred in close relation to the solar wind pressure pulse impinging on the magnetopause and almost simultaneously with the northward turning of the IMF. However, this substorm did not fully develop. In clear association with the expansion of the magnetosphere at the end of the pressure pulse, the auroral expansion was stopped, and the northern sky cleared. We will present evidence that the change in the solar wind dynamic pressure actively quenched the energy available for any further substorm expansion. Directly after this period, the magnetometer network detected signatures of a renewed substorm growth phase, which was initiated by the second southward turning of the IMF and which finally lead to a second, and this time complete, substorm intensification. We have used our multipoint observations in order to understand the solar wind control of the substorm onset and substorm quenching. The relative timings between the observations on the various satellites and on the ground were used to infer a possible causal relationship between the solar wind pressure variations and consequent substorm development. Furthermore, using a relatively simple algorithm to model the tail lobe field and the total tail flux, we show that there indeed exists a close relationship between the relaxation of a solar wind pressure pulse, the reduction of the tail lobe field, and the quenching of the initial substorm

Phase two under Grant Agreement No. 739508, project CAMART2.We propose a novel approach for characterising the electron spectrum of disordered crystals constructed from a Hamiltonian of electrons as well as phonons and a diagram approach for Green’s function. The system’s electronic states were modelled by means of the multi‐band, tight-binding approach. The system’s Hamiltonian is described based on the electron wave functions at the field of the atom nucleus. Our novel approach incorporates the long‐range Coulomb interplay of electrons located in different lattice positions. Explicit interpretations of Green’s functions are derived using a diagram method.Equations are obtained for the vertex components for the mass operators of the electron–electron as well aselectron–phonon interplays. A system of equations for the spectrum of elementary excitations in the crystal is obtained, in which the vertex components for the mass operators of electron–electron as well as electron–phonon interplays are renormalised. Thismakes it possible to perform numerical computationsfor the system’s energy spectrum with a predetermined accuracy. In contrast to other approaches in which electron correlations are only taken into account in the limiting cases of an infinitely large and infinitesimal electron density, in this method, electron correlations are described in the general case of an arbitrary density. We obtained the cluster expansion of the density of states (DOS) of the disordered systems. We demon-strate that the addition of the electron‐scattering mechanismsto the clusters is decreasing. This hap-pens due to a growing number of positions in the cluster, which hang ontothe small parameter. The computing exactness is fixed by a small parameter for cluster expansion of Green’s functions of electrons as well as phonons. © 2022 by the authors.
