Maximum height 1.8 mm, width 3.0 mm. DBUA-F 487-1 (2), Ponta do Castelo, Santa Maria Island, Azores, Touril Complex, Lower Pliocene. Description. Azorean specimen juvenile, not apt for description. Discussion. The Azorean specimens represent a juvenile but shows the salient characteristics of the species; the long elongated profile, coarse reticulate sculpture, and most importantly the lamellae on the selenizone, which are relatively coarse and rise above the level of the reticulate sculpture on lateral view. For further comparison, see Ceulemans et al. (2016: 58). Distribution. Upper Miocene: Atlantic (Tortonian), NW France (Millet 1854, 1865; Brébion 1964; Landau et al. 2017). Lower Pliocene: Atlantic, NW France (Brébion 1964; Ceulemans et al. 2016), Santa Maria Island, Azores (this paper). Upper Pliocene-Lower Pleistocene: NW France (Brébion 1964). No full textIn Cic. Verr. II 3.65.152 si ritrova l’unica menzione di una formula Octaviana comunemente ritenuta l’antecedente storico dell’actio quod metus causa. Una rilettura critica del passo permette di ipotizzare che l’espressione in cui il sostantivo formula è accompagnato dall’aggettivo Octaviana sia una delle non poche trovate retoriche disseminate da Cicerone nel testo dell’actio secunda in Verrem. L’impiego di tale aggettivo, infatti, non si riferirebbe in senso tecnico a un’azione introdotta da un pretore di nome Ottavio, ma servirebbe a evocare nei lettori l’idea di una formula diretta a sanzionare con una condanna dall’ammontare particolarmente elevato le appropriazioni illegittime compiute dai decumani ai danni dei provinciali, come lo era appunto la condanna in octuplum dell’analoga azione già inclusa da Gaio Verre nel proprio editto in Sicilia.The text of Cic. Verr. II 3.65.152 mentions a formula Octaviana, which is generally considered the historical antecedent of the actio quod metus causa. A critical analysis of the passage, however, leads to the hypothesis that the expression formula Octaviana is rather one of the many rhetorical devices Cicero employs throughout the text of the actio secunda in Verrem. The use of this adjective Octaviana would then not refer in a technical sense to an actio introduced by a praetor called Octavius, but would serve to evoke in the mind of the reader the idea of a formula aimed at sanctioning, with a particularly high monetary penalty, the illegitimate acquisitions made by the decumani from the provincials, analogous to the condemnation in octuplum of a similar actio which had already been included by Gaius Verres in his edict in Sicily

Multipolaar Corporation, Yayasan Prawita dan BPN Kantor wilayah Jawa Barat Kabupaten Bogor, dalam eksepsi Para Tergugat mendalilkan bahwa gugatan Para Penggugat telah daluarsa berdasarkan Pasal 835 KUHPerdata karena baru diajukan setelah 38 tahun setelah Pewaris meninggal pada Tahun 1957, namun Pengadilan Negeri Bogor dalam pertimbangannya mengatakan bahwa gugatan belum dapat dikatakan daluwarsa karena secara yuridis formil penguasaan oleh Tergugat baru pada Tahun 1984 (11 Tahun) dan mengenai perkara tanah tidak dapat digunakan KUHPerdata tapi Hukum Agraria yang berbasis dari Hukum Adat tidak mengenal Kadaluarsa berdasarkan UUPA, menurut penulis tidak tepat karena masalah gugatan warisan dalam hal daluarsa seharusnya berdasarkan KUHPerdata bukan Hukum Agraria. Lagipula Hukum Agraria yang berbasis pada Hukum Adat mengenal adanya Kadaluarsa. Mengenai Majelis Hakim Perdata PN. Bogor jo. PT. Bandung jo. MA RI dalam pertimbangan lainnya, menunjuk putusan Hakim Pidana yang memutuskan Tergugat I, II, III terbukti bersalah karena menggunakan surat sah yang isinya keterangan palsu, dan Hakim Perdata memutuskan bahwa Para Penggugat berhak atas harta peninggalan tersebut. Seharusnya Hakim Perdata menyatakan terbukti adanya itikad buruk dari Tergugat I, II, III dalam penguasaan tanah tersebut, yang dalil bahwa gugatan Para Penggugat telah daluarsa tidak berlaku, bukan karena Hukum agraria yang tidak mengenal kadaluarsa dalam perkara tanah warisan. counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
