Investigation of oxyhemoglobin in leukaemic patients

    No full text
Oxyhemoglobin from human normal adults and from leukaemic patients has been studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy to investigate the possibility to distinguish, through differences in the Fe2+ electronic structure, normals and leukaemic patients. © 1990 J.C. Mössbauer spectroscopy has been applied to the study of the Torino H6 meteorite. An identification of the principal components has been attempted. © 1990 J.C. Baltzer A.G. Scientific Publishing Company

Mössbauer and ERS evidence of hemocromes in neoplastic pathologies

    No full text
Red blood cells collected from patients with leukaemia and breast cancer have been investigated with Mössbauer spectroscopy. A component not usually present in red cells has been analysed. The Mössbauer parameters, also supported by electron spin resonance measurements, suggest that they can be assigned to a hemocrome. © 1988 Società Italiana di Fisica
