No full textEl 11 de febrero de 1982 marcó el inicio oficial de un sueño que había crecido entre el clero, las comunidades religiosas y diversas personas de la comunidad del Oriente antioqueño con el beneplácito de las administraciones municipales. Mons. Alfonso Uribe Jaramillo permitió materializar este anhelo firmando en la fecha indicada el decreto de fundación de esta universidad. Es necesario señalar también que esta obra educativa fue creada en el año de las bodas de plata de la Diócesis de Sonsón-Rionegro como una expresión de generosidad con el pueblo del Oriente antioqueño y como signo del crecimiento, empuje y compromiso con el progreso de la región. Sin duda, una oportuna iniciativa educativa para el servicio evangelizador de esta Iglesia particular que se esfuerza por leer y atender los signos de los tiempos de un territorio. “Con esta Universidad queremos glorificar al Señor y a su Madre, servir al hombre que constituye nuestra mayor riqueza y contribuir modestamente a la restauración y al progreso integral de nuestra patria”. Estas palabras de Mons. Alfonso Uribe Jaramillo, en su discurso inaugural del 4 de abril de 1983, retratan su preocupación de pastor, que ordena toda su acción a la glorificación de Dios y al servicio evangelizador de la Iglesia, en este caso, para ofrecer desde la educación una formación integral a las personas y las comunidades que permita, además, profesionales idóneos a la sociedad y a la patria.February 11, 1982 marked the official beginning of a dream that had grown among the clergy, religious communities and various people of the community of Eastern Antioquia with the approval of the municipal administrations. Bishop Alfonso Uribe Jaramillo allowed this dream to materialize by signing the decree of foundation of this university on the indicated date. It is also necessary to point out that this educational work was created in the year of the silver jubilee of the Diocese of Sonsón-Rionegro as an expression of generosity with the people of Eastern Antioquia and as a sign of growth, drive and commitment to the progress of the region. Undoubtedly, a timely educational initiative for the evangelizing service of this particular Church that strives to read and attend to the signs of the times of a territory. "With this University we want to glorify the Lord and his Mother, serve man who constitutes our greatest wealth and contribute modestly to the restoration and integral progress of our homeland". These words of Bishop Alfonso Uribe Jaramillo, in his inaugural speech of April 4, 1983, portray his concern as a pastor, who orders all his action to the glorification of God and the evangelizing service of the Church, in this case, to offer from education an integral formation to individuals and communities that also allows suitable professionals to society and the homeland.Rionegro, Antioqui

No full textEl presente artículo analiza el proceso de acreditación para mediar Procesos de Insolvencia de persona natural no comerciante, que permitiría al centro de conciliación adscrito al consultorio jurídico Monseñor Alfonso Uribe Jaramillo ofrecer este servicio a la población del Oriente antiqueño, así mismo pretende justificar si es viable y pertinente que se realice dicha acreditación, de acuerdo con los lineamientos y objetivos según los cuales se reglamenta el Procedimiento de Insolvencia y con los principios establecidos en reglamento del centro de conciliación. No full textLa teoría de la comunicación estratégica interna de Varona Madrid (1999) propone cuatro áreas fundamentales de análisis en la cultura y comportamiento organizacional (orientación y formación, compensación y beneficios, cambio y desarrollo institucional, compromiso y satisfacción), sobre la base de esos componentes de estudio, esta investigación examinó cuantitativa y cualitativamente el actual sistema de intranet del Núcleo de Anzoátegui de la Universidad de Oriente. La investigación fue de carácter no experimental de diseño transeccional exploratorio y su enfoque metodológico fue integrado multimodal o mixto; se recurrió al cuestionario y a la entrevista cualitativa estructurada como instrumentos de recolección de datos en una población de 53 secretarias y 3 informantes clave, respectivamente. El proceso de interpretación de resultados se realizó a través del software estadístico SPSS versión 19 para Windows y de una triangulación de datos. Los resultados obtenidos evidenciaron bajos niveles de satisfacción laboral, identidad institucional y nula interactividad entre el personal administrativo y sus autoridades a través de su sistema de intranet. Se recomienda considerar la generación de canales de interactividad digitalizada en su plataforma de electrónica institucional.Palabras clave: Comunicación estratégica interna, intranet universitaria, interacción social digitalizada, ideología y discurso, UDO-Anzoátegui.ABSTRACTThe internal strategic communication theory of Varona Madrid (1999) proposes four key areas of analysis on culture and organizational behavior, which are orientation and training; compensation and benefits; institutional change and development and commitment and satisfaction. Based on those study components, this research assessed quantitatively and qualitatively the current intranet system at the Anzoategui headquarter of Universidad de Oriente. Methodologically, the study design was non-experimental, exploratory, transactional and multimodal or mixed. Data were collected by means of a survey and a qualitative structured interview on a research population made up of 53 secretaries and 3 key informants. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS, version 19.0 for Windows and data triangulation. The research findings reported low levels of job satisfaction and institutional identity, as well as a scarce interaction between the chiefs and the administrative staff through their Intranet system. The implementation of digital interactive channels on their institutional electronic platform is suggested. The chronicle of Alfonson lll and its significance for the historiography of the Asturian kingdom 718-910 AD
No full textThe Asturian kingdom provided the earliest organised
resistance in the Iberian peninsula to the Muslim invaders who overthrew the Visigothic state at the start of the 8th century. Information on the origins of the Asturian kingdom is regrettably sparse. Historians of the kingdom are totally reliant on a late 9th-century cycle of Asturian chronicles associated with the royal court, the most substantial of which is the Chronicle of Alfonso III. This work has survived in two fundamental recensions from the 10th century. Historians' gratitude for its existence is tinged with frustration at its readily apparent weaknesses, such as a chronological imprecision on events and an enigmatic brevity in the commentary.
This thesis considers the 9th-century Asturian chronicles in
the context of their own time. In particular, it examines the Chronicle of Alfonso III not as a disappointing source which fails to yield to modern scholars the information they crave on this obscure period of early Spanish history, but, rather, as an expression of the aims of a medieval author and his copyists. The Chronicle was the product of scarce and valuable resources. Its author, within the limits of his literary ability and source of information, transmitted a message which interacted with the individual understanding of its intended audience. This shift of
emphasis in analysing the Chronicle of Alfonso III rests on the assumption that its original text may be recognised in the later recensions which used it, by addition or omission, as a vehicle for their own interests
Is the involvement of distal interphalangeal joint of psoriatic patients related to nail psoriasis?
No full textThe aim of this study was to investigate the relationship
between onychopathy and distal interphalangeal
(DIP) joint involvement in psoriatic patients. Twenty-five
consecutive unselected, unrelated patients with psoriatic
onychopathy and 25 consecutive unselected, unrelated
patients with psoriatic arthritis without onychopathy,
were enrolled in the study. X-ray films of the hands were
taken to identify DIP arthritic involvement and/or bone
changes of the distal phalanx, which were categorized into
five classes (0: no lesions; 1: tuftal minimal erosions; 2:
tuftal bone resorption; 3: tuftal periosteal osteitis; 4:
overlap of erosive and osteitic changes). Ten psoriatic patients
with onychopathy and 8 without showed DIP
arthritis, with no statistical differences in this distribution
(p=0.556). Bone changes of the distal phalanx were found
in all 25 psoriatic patients with onychopathy and in 18
without.Thedistribution of patients in different categories
of involvement of the distal phalanx showed that patients
without onychopathy were markedly distributed in the
categories with no or minimal lesions, whereas patients
with onychopathy had structural changes prevailing included
in categories with more severe bone changes (osteitis
and overlap of erosive andosteitic changes) (p=0.002).
Onychopathic patients with DIP arthritis were older than
thosewithout (p<0.0001)andshowedalonger duration of
onychopathy (p<0.0001). Although the occurrence of
DIP arthritis seems to depend on the duration of nail
involvement, no statistical difference has been found in the
distribution of DIP arthritis in psoriatic patients with or
without onychopathy. In contrast, a topographical association
between bone changes of the distal phalanx and
dystrophy of the adjacent nail may be advanced
ANÁLISIS VARIMAX DE FACTORES QUE INFLUYEN EN LA SATISFACCIÓN LABORAL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE ORIENTE, VENEZUELA
No full textEn este estudio se analizó la importancia de los componentes integrados por las variables que inciden en la satisfacción laboral del personal del Núcleo de Anzoátegui de la Universidad de Oriente, Venezuela en función de la teoría de los factores de Frederick Herzberg. Se obtuvo información de una muestra representativa de 400 trabajadores a través de un cuestionario confiable y validado, cuyos datos se procesaron con el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 11.5 para Windows. Se practicó el análisis de componentes principales, prueba de esfericidad de Bartlett, prueba de adecuación muestral de Káiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) y Varimax, para determinar la importancia de los factores considerados por los docentes, empleados y obreros encuestados. Los hallazgos del análisis Varimax revelan que para los docentes y el personal administrativo, los factores intrínsecos prevalecen sobre los extrínsecos; los obreros, le asignan un peso equilibrado a ambos tipos de factores. ABSTRATC This study purports to assess the importance of the variables underlying work satisfaction at the Anzoategui campus of the Universidad de Oriente, Venezuela, in function of Frederick Herzberg’s motivation theory. A reliable and validated questionnaire was given to a representative sample of 400 employees, and the data thus obtained were processed with the statistical software package for the social sciences SPSS version 11.5 for Windows. The polled responses of teachers, administrative employees, and workers were assessed by means of a principal component analysis, Bartlett’s sphericity test, the Káiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure of sampling adequacy, and Varimax to determine how the staff considered the factors. The Varimax analysis revealed that, for teachers and administrative employees, the intrinsic factors prevailed over the extrinsic ones, whereas workers assigned equal importance to both.
