YOSHIHIDE SUGA POLICY TO CONTINUE ABENOMICS IN EAST AND SOUTHEAST ASIA
This article describes a problem regarding abenomics made by Shinzo Abe as the basis of Japan's domestic political economy and foreign policy which began in 2012. However, after Shinzo Abe's emergence as PM of Japan and replaced by Yoshihide Suga, Suga continued abenomics with the aim of improving and stabilization of both Japan Domestic and Asia Pacific region, stimulaneously with RCEP which was signed in November 2020. The author takes the concept of Foreign Policy in which Japan improves its leadership strategy in balancing China's influence on the East Asian Region and ASEAN. The assumption of the leadership strategy is that the state has the capability of power but does not engage in conflictualism with other countries, so that it cooperates with a sense of competitiveness of a country. The result of the analysis shows that Japan sees an opportunity with the RCEP. Previously Japan did not focus on RCEP as part of Abenomics but rather on the CPTPP. However, because RCEP can encourage the export of Japanese products or commodities, RCEP is the most important part for Japan in the economy on free economy in Asia Pacific region. However, the challenge from Japan is that China still has a strong influence on ASEAN and RCEP has low trade liberalization. So that India left RCEP because of concerns that India's local products could not compete with other countries, especially China, with products that were cheap and accessible to the public. In addition, ASEAN sees China as no longer a threat because it sees China as a potential market for ASEAN. The impact for Indonesia is to get the maximum benefit from the Sino-Japanese competition, one of which is the joint project of the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train as an interest of Indonesia which implements a Free Active Foreign Policy. This article describes a problem regarding abenomics made by Shinzo Abe as the basis of Japan's domestic political economy and foreign policy which began in 2012. Roentgenological Study on the Tuberculous Urinary Bladder Report I : Especially on Freudenberg's Phenomenon of the Stilled Urinary Bladder
The f phenomenon proposed by the author referring to the cystogram of tuberculous bladder, viz. a vesical area measure planimetrically appearing smaller on the side of an involved kidney than that of a normal kidney, was studied in 121 cases of tuberculous bladder resulting from unilateral renal tuberculosis. 1) A normal bladder seldom showed a completely identical picture on the right side and on the left side, but its right area appeared slightly wider than the left. 2) The f phenomenon in cases of tuberculous bladder occurred more frequently and more clearly as an irrigated medium increased in amount, while in cases of normal bladder the difference of area between the right side and the left side was hardly recognized as an injected medium increased in amount. 3) It was to be noted that the f phenomenon appeared far more frequently (55.7 %) than the so-called Freudenberg's phenomenon (35.2 %), which is characterized by an inclined outline of the cystogram and a reduction of the longest perpendicular drawn from the bladder edge to the median line on the involved renal side. 4) The f phenomenon was observed more frequently o n the left side (68.7 %) than on the right side (40 %) and most often in cases of 200300 cc vesical capacity (67 %). In connection with the invated grade of renal tuberculosis it occurred most frequently in the moderately advanced stage (68 %), then in the end-stage (55 %), and only occasionally in the early stage (27 %). 5) There were f ound only 8 cases (9 %) presenting the ureterovesical backflow on the side of affected kidney, so far less frequently than the f phenomenon, and in 6 of these cases with ureterovesical backflow the f phenomenon occurred also simultaneously
Illegal missionary work lawsuits and exit counseling for Unification Church members
This paper studies the recent cult controversy exemplified by the lawsuits filed by self-proclaimed "victims" damaged by the Unification Church and in reverse by so-called "cult" members who were also proclaimed "sufferers" whose personal right of religious freedom had been violated in deprogramming. To consider the contents of these rulings demonstrates the Japanese religious consciousness in reference to the recent cult controversy, because judges tend to consider in controversial cases of religious troubles the extent to which they deviate from socially accepted norms
Geopolitical mission strategy : the case of the Unification Church in Japan and Korea
Japan presents a useful case for studying new religious movements and their development of public relations and growth strategies , not only because there are large numbers of new religious movements in Japan, but also for the presence of controversial movementssuch as Aum and the Unification Church. The strategies employed in recruitment and fundraising have become increasingly important for such movements in Japan—as well as for research on these movements—in the wake of the ―Aum Affair.‖ This paper will focus on the strategy employed by the Unification Church which is broadly perceived as a social problem
