Generación de calor por inducción magnética

The induction heating source is based on the Joule effect, which is that a driver will induce an electrical current, producing the motion of electrons due to the kinetic energy stored in these, resulting in heat shock that experience between them. The high-frequency electromagnetic waves are manipulated by a PWM is to generate a pulse train that varies its width. Our input power is 1000 watts, with a voltage of 110V and a current of 9.09A. We also use copper tube of 0.003 m for the coil surrounding the material to be heated.Público en genera

    Get PDF
In this work, a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) scheme is used to estimate the heat generation function of a Guarded Hot-Plate Apparatus (GHPA). This device is used in thermal conductivity estimation of isolant materials. Application is developed in one dimensional cylindrical coordinates. Geometries are a disc (for Hot Plate) and an annulus (for the Guard) with estimated paremeters from one to five. Results are compared with Levenberg-Marquardt method. This shows that PSO has a great capacity to recover the analytic function. Results exhibits a good agreement with experimental values

Using a global survey of reef fish assemblages, we show that in contrast to previous theoretical and experimental studies, ecosystem functioning (as measured by standing biomass) scales in a non-saturating manner with biodiversity (as measured by species and functional richness) in this ecosystem. Our field study also shows a significant and negative interaction between human population density and biodiversity on ecosystem functioning (i.e., for the same human density there were larger reductions in standing biomass at more diverse reefs). Human effects were found to be related to fishing, coastal development, and land use stressors, and currently affect over 75% of the world's coral reefs. Our results indicate that the consequences of biodiversity loss in coral reefs have been considerably underestimated based on existing knowledge and that reef fish assemblages, particularly the most diverse, are greatly vulnerable to the expansion and intensity of anthropogenic stressors in coastal areas
