Coating and filler materials for localized thermal processing of glazed ceramics and other brittle and low thermal conductivity materials. The coating materials include oxide compositions that exhibit coefficients of thermal expansion which are less than about 8×10-6 /° C. and glass transition temperatures which are less than about 400° C. The filler materials include particulate oxide materials which do not substantially react during localized thermal processing of glazed ceramics and other brittle and low thermal conductivity materials. The coating and filler materials are useable together as a composite material for repairing cavities having depths greater than about 2 mm
PENGARUH JINTAN HITAM (Nigella sativa) TERHADAP HISTOPATOLOGI ORGAN KAKAP PUTIH (Lates calcarifer) YANG TERINFEKSI VIRAL NERVOUS NECROSIS SECARA BUATAN
The use of recovered metal complexes in catalysis
Research in the group led by James Wilton‐Ely focuses on catalysis, imaging and sensing. All of this work involves d- and f-elements and is underpinned by the group’s wide-ranging expertise in synthesis. Collaborations with researchers in engineering, medicine and bioimaging allow these discoveries to be used to address major healthcare and sustainability challenges. Professor Wilton-Ely is the author of more than 100 publications and was the recipient of the 2021 Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson Award from the Royal Society of Chemistry for his work on metal-based carbon monoxide sensing. He has a strong interest in sustainability, having directed the MRes Green Chemistry course at Imperial College for over 12 years (2010–2022). He has published on the use of recovered metals in catalysis (1–5), the catalytic transformation of biomass to platform chemicals (6–11) and magnetically-recoverable nanoscale catalysts (12, 13). Elemental sustainability is a pressing concern for all researchers using precious metals and this has led Wilton-Ely to work with colleagues to explore the potential for using gold (3) and palladium (4, 5) complexes recovered from end-of-life products in catalysis

Prescribing by mental health nurses: the UK perspective
PURPOSE. This article aims to discuss the growth of mental health nurse (MHN) prescribing in the United Kingdom as an exemplar for readers to compare progress in their own countries and context. This study also aims to provide a historical overview of this process in the United Kingdom where MHNs prescribe safely and competently.
CONCLUSIONS. Finally, evidence has shown that MHNs with prescriptive authority are competent when prescribing when compared to psychiatrists.
PRACTICE IMPLICATIONS. Despite organizational barriers and educational concerns, MHN prescribing is becoming embedded in the healthcare context in the United Kingdo
Valtion viraston taloushallinnon prosessit : Case Kainuun ELY-keskus
The objective of this thesis was to study the operations of a state agency. Another purpose was to describe four financial management processes of the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Kainuu, as well as present development proposals and identify the risks of the described processes. The process diagrams were made to clarify the descriptions of the processes.
The theoretical framework of this thesis consists of the description of state economy, the development of information systems and financial methods, financial management process description with examples as well as its risks and risk management.
The empirical part was implemented as qualitative research partly by using interviews and partly based on per-sonal experience of one of the author. The integral part of the empirical part was the description of the areas of responsibility of the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Kainuu as well as its financial management. Practical suggestions were made for the described processes. Also, a short risk analysis was made for these processes.
Suggestions for development and improvement were related, among others, to the elimination of unnecessary stages and increasing personnel resources. The risk analysis showed that there are three types of risks in the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Kainuu: personnel and knowledge risk, effectiveness risk and information risk.
This thesis can be used for training purposes. It can be also continued by describing other financial management processes of the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Kainuu
Unequal incomes, unequal outcomes? Economic inequality and measures of well-being, closing discussion: social policy implications, general commentary
This paper was presented at the conference "Unequal incomes, unequal outcomes? Economic inequality and measures of well-being" as part of the closing discussion, "Social policy implications." The conference was held at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on May 7, 1999. The author advocates the need to examine further the effectiveness of policy responses to inequality. He identifies three broad categories of policy responses worthy of study: policies aimed at investing in public goods to enhance human capital, policies that reward socially acceptable actions and provide economic mobility by increasing incomes (such as earned income tax credits), and policies that assist those individuals with the most serious physical and mental disabilities.Income distribution ; Public policy
