Controlling lnear stepper axis with integrated control system
The main purpose of the task was to create a sorting unit with four stations for detecting metal and non-metal workpieces, detected by the sensor and ejected into a landfill with a pneumatic cylinder. A linear unit with a stepper motor and an integrated control unit were used for the execution. The operation of the control unit must be pre-parameterized to achive the desired operaton of the linear unit, which is then controlled by using an industrial controller. The user inteface which was built in software tool TwinCAT3, enables the user to manages the controller and allows different ways of leading the linear unit

Liability for defects in Roman law with a reference to contemporary Croatian Law
Današnji sustav podrazumijevane, implicirane prodavateljeve odgovornosti za materijalni nedostatak stvari prilikom kupoprodaje pridonosi pravnoj sigurnosti unoseći veće povjerenje u pravni promet i poslovanje među ljudima. The contract of sale is crucial in the context of the economic development of every country, and it is the most important and widespread contract of the law of obligations. On the basis of Roman legal tradition and the reception of Roman legal concepts, the sales contract and its constituent element, the seller's liability for material defects entered the legal systems of most continental European countries, including Croatia. In this analysis it has been demostrated that the position of today's buyer is much more favourable and safer, which is a logical consequence of a higher level of general and economic progress, and the state's legislative activity. Also, today, more emphasis is placed on a new type of buyer – consumer, whereby the Republic of Croatia harmonizes its legislation with the needs of not only the European legal acquis, but also international treaties of which it is a signatory (United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods). Many modern legal solutions correspond to the regulation from the Roman period. At the same time, the Roman “dictae in venditi” or “promissae” have been incorporated into an improved integrated solution of the seller's guarantee for the thing sold, by which the seller guarantees that the thing sold will be functional for a certain period of time, and otherwise finance its repair or provide an alternative. Admittedly, in the Roman era, “dictae” or “promissae” only strengthened the seller's responsibility for a material defect, whereby they either assured that the object of purchase did not have a defect or had some feature that it did not actually have, or vice versa, the buyer asked the seller for an explicit stipulation through a promise that the sold the thing does not have a defect, that is, it has a specific characteristic. Undoubtedly, Roman law provided a strong impetus to the development of the institute of the seller's responsibility for material defects, since its beginnings can be found there, and it provided some possibilities for the buyer such as termination of the contract or reduction of the purchase price, but certainly the protection of the buyer as we know it today is more complete. The buyer no longer bears the burden of proof of the seller's wilful conduct, as was the case with the use of the Roman actio empti, but he is responsible by force of law (with some minor exceptions) if the lack of the goods sold becomes apparent within a certain period of time, which is actually necessary a consequence of the modification of the Roman maxim caveat emptor to the conditions of modern trade. It is unthinkable that the buyer would bear all the risk regarding the sold item, if we keep in mind that today's buying and selling very often does not take place in the physical presence of the seller and the buyer. Today's system of implied seller's responsibility for material defects when buying and selling contributes to legal certainty by strengthening mutual confidence in commercial transactions and the pertaining legal framework
Organizacijski dejavniki hitre rasti slovenskih dinamičnih podjetij
The authors provide key findings on the internal and external environmental factors of growth that affect the rapid growth of dynamic enterprises in relation to individual key organisational factors or functions. The key organisational relationships in a growing enterprise are upgraded with previous research findings and identified key factors of rapid growth through qualitative and quantitative analysis based on the analysis of 4,511 dynamic Slovenian enterprises exhibiting growth potential. More than 250 descriptive attributes of a sample of firms from 2011 were also used for further qualitative analysis and verification of key growth factors. On the basis of the sample (the study was conducted with 131 Slovenian dynamic enterprises), the authors verify whether these factors are the same as the factors that were studied in previous researches. They also provide empirical findings on rapid growth factors in relation to individual organisational functions: administration - management - implementation (entrepreneur - manager - employees). Through factor analysis they look for the correlation strength between individual variables (attributes) that best describe each factor of rapid growth and that relate to the aforementioned organisational functions in dynamic enterprises. The research findings on rapid growth factors offer companies the opportunity to consider these factors during the planning and implementation phases of their business, to choose appropriate instruments for the transition from a small fast growing firm to a professionally managed growing company, to stimulate growth and to choose an appropriate growth strategy and organisational factors in order to remain, or become, dynamic enterprises that can further contribute to the preservation, growth and development of the Slovenian economy.
