Ono spontano i dinamično stvara brojalicu. In the years after Radić published his work, the number of rhetorical works increased. They continued to be published in the Annals of the Life of the People and Customs of Southern Slavs. According to that, numerous number of monographs were produced and they are still representative today. Children's folklore is not often treated as a separate area of research. The systematicity of the recorded material depends on the author. Recorders of nursery rhymes are concentrated on the text, on the stringing of incoherent words, so in that way nursery rhymes are connected with the area of the irrational. Attention is paid to the textual features and basic characteristics of that literary form. Nursery rhyme is a true reflection of children's way of life, children's free play and imagination. Child spontaneously and dynamically creates nursery rhymes. Adults have often had the wrong approach in studying of nursery rhymes. They expect a meaning that really shouldn't be there. The child considers the word as a sound phenomenon and then it is used in sound games and counting out nursery rhymes. We can see that nursery rhymes belong to the all age periods, more than other rhetorical forms. But only the most recent studies of nursery rhymes have revealed the magical world in them

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Također pružaju informacije o ljepoti, zdravlju i savjete o aktivnostima uz modne trendove.Folk calendars are cultural artifacts that preserve time, but also record cultural information. They were used to monitor the weather and educate the public. They also served as intelligence tools and sources of information that helped disseminate their information to a wider audience. The calendars contained multiple text entries such as health advice, weather, fashion advice, stories and poems aimed at educating the reader's audience and farming. On the other hand, modern women's magazines have the main purpose of entertaining their female readers. They are used to promote popular trends and behaviors in the current culture. They also provide beauty, health and activity advice alongside fashion trends

Curses, as extremely old and well-established forms of speech, present from the earliest written records to the present day, constitute an important part of the act of communication, which occurs not only in oral and written communication but also in the digital environment. The aim of this research is to examine how this oral-rhetorical genre has changed and adapted to contemporary forms of communication. After a theoretical approach to the genre of curses from a folkloristic, philological, psycholinguistic perspective, etc., the collected corpus was analyzed with a focus on the rhetorical and philological component. The basic parameters of the analysis included gender relations, curse topics, linguistic constructions, different formats in which they occur (memes, coments, social media posts, etc.), and the humorous effect of curses. The goal is also to contribute to raising awareness of the importance of curses as a speech genre and to explore how digital communication has influenced their development

Lyrical Distichs of Šibenik Hinterland as Safeguarded Intangible Cultural Heritage

The paper deals with lyrical distich of the Šibenik hinterland as oral forms that are included in the UNESCO list of Croatian intangible cultural heritage. In the Šibenik area, ojkavica is a synonym for lyrical distich and is the only tune that is systematically nurtured. The value of ojkavica is recognized by the combination of different art forms, musical and literary as well as by its historical significance for a particular local community. In addition to UNESCO, local communities have a fundamental role in protecting this musical expression. Ojkavica reflects the whole life – from the cradle to the grave, and on that path ojkavica represent an indispensable part of various rituals - births, baptisms, weddings, festivities, funerals. On these occasions, ojkavica would take on the function of oratorical forms, so toasts, blessings and prayers were often expressed with ojkavica, and in a negative view, curses and mockery. Modernization and globalization alienate the ojkavica from younger generations. Organized cultural and artistic societies and associations as well as musically gifted individuals from the Šibenik hinterland are trying to regain interest
