    This research aimed to describe students’ ability in solving mathematics problems according to Polya theory. According to writer’s experience in the subject of basic mathematics, the students had low ability in solving mathemathics problems. Therefore, the writer used the descriptive qualitative method to analyze problem-solving of mathematics according to Polya theory of semester two of IAIN students. Test and interview were used in collecting data. Based on analysis of simple statistic, it was found that students, whose high prior knowledge thought algorithmically in solving the question of problem-solving of mathematics, could understand the problems correctly and fluently. Students whose moderate prior knowledge thought algorithmically and not completely solved the questions of problem-solving. Furthermore, students whose low prior knowledge thought heuristic in solving the questions of problem-solving of mathematics

    The phenomenon that occurs in students is the difficulty of them in detailing and sorting out the division of inheritance. In Islam everything is set up but its application in daily life has not been done with that should be. After the authors delve deeper into this material is indeed difficult to understand, especially in the details of each received by the heirs very closely related to the learning of mathematics in sub-material fractions. Lack of time allocation used in this material, resulting in them not getting examples of varied questions. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. This method tries to describe and interpret what is in accordance with the growing conditions in the ongoing process. Based on the phenomenon that occurred in the field can be concluded that the difficulties experienced by students is to determine the parts that must be accepted by the heirs that have been set in the Qur'an difficult to apply in everyday life, Islam has set clearly in the Qur'an But this has not been done properly. Another difficulty is also experienced in the learning of mathematics is on the equalization pemyebut of fractions obtained by heirs who are too many are entitled to receive inheritance. Keywords

Data of this research gathered through test, observation and interview. Based on the research result, there was the deferenciate of the students average achievement between experiment and control class.     The ability to understand students' concepts is important. But the ability to understand the concept of students does not grow without just passing on an action from a serious educator in dealing with this problem. Developing learning objectives in general is one of the right steps taken by educators in learning. Bloom Revision Taxonomy that researchers will use in developing learning objectives in this study. so this study aims to describe students' abilities in understanding concepts through Bloom Revision's taxonomy. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method to see students' understanding of concepts in the implementation of microteaching in accordance with taxonomic steps of the revised bloom on the Education of Mathematics students at UIN Raden Intan in the sixth semester. Data collection techniques are tests on the implementation of microteaching and interviews. Based on the results of the assessment seen in the results of the observation sheet on the implementation of the learning that the steps of Bloom's Taxonomy can be applied in accordance with the selected indicators and in general students have been able to understand mathematical concepts well. So it can be concluded that the application of Bloom Revised Taxonomy in learning can improve students' ability to understand concept

    This study aims to develop a PISA-based learning module in mathematics to train students’ high-order thinking skills. This research type is research and mining. This research uses 7 stages from 10 stages of procedure from Borg and Gall which have been modified by Sugiyono. Data collection techniques used are documents, interviews and assessment questionnaires. The result of the research is the learning module of mathematics based on PISA problems to train students in improving students' high thinking ability which has been declared valid and proper to be used as a whole as a medium of learning by 5 material experts who got the average score of 84.2% and 3 Experts media that scored an average of 87% with each of the maximum validity scores was 100%. While the attractiveness test of instructional media stated "Very Interesting" by small group test which got average score 80,45% and big group test with score average 85,85% with each score maximal attractiveness is 100%. So it can be concluded that the development of the resulting mathematical module is declared feasible and can be used as a teaching material to train students in improving high comprehension

    The purpose of this study is to make a diagnosis of student learning difficulties Mathematics education graduate IPA, IPS and SMK in terms of learning mathematics. This research uses descriptive qualitative research type. Instrument used in the form of interview result, observation result of student learning mathematics and supported by result of questionnaire of interest of student of mathematics education by using Likert scale measurement which used to measure attitude, opinion, or perception of someone about social phenomenon. The results of this study include: (1) Types of learning difficulties for students with science graduates including difficulties in academic learning (academic learning disabilities). (2) Types of learning difficulties students with social studies and vocational backgrounds have a type of learning difficulties related to development (developmental learning disabilities) which includes perceptions, difficulties in language learning and communication, and learning difficulties in adjusting social behavior.     Diagnosis of Basic Mathematics Learning Difficulties for Students from Science, Social Studies, and Vocational High School Backgrounds

    This research aims to explore the specific learning challenges encountered by students in the Mathematics Education Program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung, especially those with educational backgrounds in Science, Social Studies, and Vocational Studies, in the context of mathematics learning. Adopting a qualitative approach, this study employed purposive and Snowball Sampling techniques. It focused on students from classes A and B in the Mathematics Education Program. The findings reveal that students with a Science background tend to struggle with concept comprehension and the application of mathematical problem-solving techniques. Furthermore, a significant factor contributing to learning difficulties, observed in students from Science, Social Studies, and Vocational backgrounds, is a lack of interest in learning. The study concludes that the learning challenges faced by Mathematics Education students are not solely attributable to their educational backgrounds (Science, Social Studies, or Vocational). Instead, a predominant factor is their low level of interest in learning. This suggests the need for diverse learning strategies to enhance interest and understanding of mathematical concepts among students

    Student Worksheet is a learning media that can be used as a guide for students and lecturers in the teaching and learning process. The developed product of this research is a website-based guided-inquiry approach student worksheet. The purpose of this study is to improve students’ learning outcomes and motivation in learning mathematics. This research employed the pre-experimental method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The small-scale testing obtained an average score of 3.1 which is included in the interesting category. The large-scale testing obtained an average score of 3.26 which is included in the very interesting category. The website-based guided-inquiry approach student worksheet obtained an average score of 0.48 which is included in the medium category for its effectiveness. It can be concluded that the website-based guided-inquiry approach student worksheet is feasible and very interesting to be used in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes for better learning in Basic Mathematics course
