Global Sound Healing Alliance
The Global Sound Healing Alliance (GSHA) is an international collaborative initiative co-founded by Dr. Neha Sharma (Aarogyam UK & Global Synergy Alliance) and Debbi Walker (Suara Sound Academy, UK) to establish a unified, evidence-based framework for sound healing research and practice.
Building on the foundational work of Tuning to Reset: The Sound-as-Medicine Pathway (Sharma & Walker, 2025), the Alliance seeks to integrate community-generated practice-based data with biomedical inquiry into how acoustic frequencies influence human physiology, emotion, and well-being. The initiative bridges traditional sound healing practices, including Nāda Yoga and tuning fork therapy, with modern psychophysiology, neuroacoustics, and clinical observation.
GSHA is grounded in Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN) and Participatory Action Research (PAR) models, enabling practitioners, researchers, and community participants to co-create data and meaning through shared experiences of sound

Professional Etiquettes among Nursing Students
Professional etiquette, a critical link for carrier success. Etiquette is more than good manners it's a tool for cultivating good relationship. More than most careers, Nursing is characterized by professional relationship among different people in numerous settings. Professional etiquettes are most important aspect in the student's life. The objective of the study was to assess the professional etiquettes among nursing students. 160 students were selected from B.Sc. Post basic and M.Sc. Nursing subject by disproportionate Simple Random Sampling Technique at Saraswati Nursing Institute, Dhianpura, Punjab. From each class of B.Sc. and Post basic 25 student and from M.Sc. 10 students were taken in the study. Professional Etiquettes Self Structured Likert PESL scale was prepared to assess the professional etiquettes. Content validity of the tool was determined. Reliability r=0.75 of the tool was tested by split half method and Karl Pearson coefficient correlation formula. A pilot study was conducted by interviewing 15 respondents who fulfil the sampling criteria with the help of help of PESL scale. The data collected from the respondents was analysed by using descriptive statistics. The tool was found feasible and practicable. Assessment of professional etiquettes of the nursing students revealed that majority of students 93.75 of students rated themselves as highly followed professional etiquettes whereas 6.25 students rated themselves as average followed professional etiquettes. The overall 87.82 of students rated themselves as highly followed professional etiquettes. Domain wise assessment scored showed highest percentage 91.65 of students rated themselves in etiquettes in library whereas low 82.14 of students rated themselves in etiquettes in classroom. there is significant difference with demographical variable. So finding of the study revealed that 87.82 students were rated themselves high professional etiquettes. The study conclude that majority of nursing students rated themselves highly professional etiquettes. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
