    This paper researches the approach of a female architect of colour to her career in architecture. It positions itself through background research on the discrimination that takes place in the field of architecture against people of colour and women and applies this gained perspective to the case of Zaha Hadid, as she is a perfect candidate to bring these two points of discrimination together. A case analysis is executed on Dame Zaha Hadid, where her journey through the field of architecture is analysed and reflected upon. The aim of this paper is to establish how broke through all the stigmas and because quite possibly the best known female architect of all time. In the case analysis Hadid’s childhood, education, career and personal development are analysed. Hadid is known to have a strong and extravagant personality. She always stayed true to her art style and always aimed to become greater while remaining unique.     After a startling and meteoric rise to fame, Arab Iraqi-born architect Zaha Hadid is one of the most sought after and in-demand architects of the twenty-first century. Hadid's work, which often defies description, draws on a diverse palette of influences including Soviet Constructivism, Suprematism, and what her colleague Patrick Shumacher has termed ‘Parametricism’. At the same time, Hadid's work – she studied under Rem Koolhaas – is infused on multiple levels with her Arab culture and identity. Originally more famous for her designs and un-built works, those which have been constructed or are on the verge of completion span the globe from China to Azerbaijan to Europe, the US and – more recently – the Arab world. She is the recipient of some of architecture's most prestigious awards including the Pritzker Prize. Simultaneously, Hadid has met with controversy and obstacles to her single-minded approach to design and utilization of space in both Europe and the Arab world. This article contains previously unpublished interviews – which examine her approach to form and space, her relation to computer-assisted design, as well as her Iraqi identity – undertaken with Zaha Hadid by the author over a decade, as well as photographs and illustrations of her paradigmatic work that pose serious challenges and hurdles for structural engineers and builders, while engaging all those who view or encounter them to assess their own relation to space and concepts of it.</jats:p

    In the digital era, people are increasingly following trends that can be seen from social media such as Instagram and TikTok. This phenomenon can have a negative impact on life. A person will continue to follow trends that ultimately lead to regret. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of worldly love in the digital era based on the perspective of QS. Al-Hadid Verse 20 and what the impact of the influence of worldly love is in the digital era. This study also provides solutions based on the Qur\u27an to help people understand and overcome the negative effects of digitalization on spiritual values. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The data collection technique is carried out thematically (maudhu\u27i), making QS. Al-Hadid Verse 20 the center of analysis to explore the meaning of the verse in the context of the digital era. The results of the study, the love of the world in Surah Al-Hadid verse 20 includes la\u27ibun (something that does not bear fruit), lahwun (something that distracts humans from things that are useful and beneficial to them), ziinah (jewelry such as magnificent clothing), tafakhur (being proud of one another with lineage and parents who have become bones that have been destroyed), and takatsurun fil amwaali wal awlaad (boasting of one another). And the manifestation of love of the world is manifested in the form of social media addiction (La\u27ib and Lahwun), the emergence of (FOMO) "Fear Of Missing Out" (Takatsur), Showing Off Wealth or Lifestyle on the Internet (Flexing) (Tafakhur).     ABSTRAK Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan teknologi yang terus berkembang, hampir semua bidang kehidupan mengalami perubahan. Menikmati segala kenikmatan adalah tujuan hidup manusia di dunia ini. Hedonisme tidak hanya muncul di kalangan pelajar dan mahasiswa atau pelajar saja, tetapi sudah tampak meluas di berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Kebanyakan perilaku hedonistik dimulai dari orang-orang kaya yang selalu peduli dengan penampilan dan menikmati hidup sepuasnya dengan bersosialisasi, makan, jalan-jalan dan bersenang-senang dengan orang-orang yang berpikiran sama, yang akhirnya menyebar ke berbagai kelompok masyarakat yang kekurangan kondisi hidup. . Maka untuk pembahasan kali ini penulis tertarik dengan pembahasan tentang hedonisme. Fokus masalah penelitian ini mendeskripsikan konsep hedonisme yang dijelaskan dalam Q.S Al-Hadid ayat 20 dalam Tafsir Al-Azhar dan Al- Misbah serta menitikberatkan pada perbandingan (perbandingan:Persamaan dan perbedaan) antara Tafsir Al-Azhar dan Al-Misbah dalam menafsirkan ayat 20 dari Q.S Al-Hadid. Untuk mengembangkan penelitian yang lebih dalam, digunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kepustakaan atau yang biasa dikenal dengan penelitian kepustakaan. Mengumpulkan bahan penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik dokumenter, metode analisis komparatif dalam mengolah bahan dan kesimpulan pada akhir penulisan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Hedonisme dalam surat Al-Hadid ayat 20 perspektif Tafsir Al-Azhar dan Tafsir Al-Misbah termasuk kelengahan akan gemerlapnya kehidupan dunia. Komparasi persamaan antara kedua tafsir tersebut adalah pada penjabaran konsep hedonisme. Sedangkan dalam menginterpretasi hedonisme, kedua mufasir tersebut memiliki perbedaan yang mana Quraish Shihab dari segi pembahasan ayat tentang hedonisme lebih meluas dan dikorelasikan juga dengan ayat yang lain. Sedangkan Buya Hamka hanya terfokus pada pemaknaan hakikat kehidupan dunia dan perkara keduniawiaan saja. Hedonism does not only appear among students and students or students, but has been seen to be widespread in various circles of society. Most hedonistic behavior starts with rich people who always care about their appearance and enjoy life to their heart's content by socializing, eating, traveling and having fun with like-minded people, which eventually spreads to various groups of people who lack living conditions. . So for the discussion this time the author is interested in the discussion of hedonism. The focus of this research problem describes the concept of hedonism explained in Q.S Al-Hadid verse 20 in Tafsir Al-Azhar and Al-Misbah and focuses on comparisons (comparison: Similarities and differences) between Tafsir Al-Azhar and Al-Misbah in interpreting verse 20 of Q.S Al-Hadid. To develop deeper research, qualitative research is used with the approach used, namely the library approach or commonly known as library research. Collecting research materials using documentary techniques, comparative analysis methods in processing materials and conclusions at the end of writing. The result of this research is Hedonism in Surah Al-Hadid verse 20 from the perspective of Tafsir Al-Azhar and Tafsir Al-Misbah including heedlessness of the glitter of worldly life. Comparison of similarities between the two interpretations is in the elaboration of the concept of hedonism. Whereas in interpreting hedonism, the two commentators have differences in which Quraish Shihab from the point of view of discussing verses about hedonism is more extensive and also correlated with other verses.
