A new problem arising after the cesarean, cesarean scar defect(ısthmocele): a case report
Background: Cesarean rates continue to increase all over the world. This has led
to a particularly rapid increase in placenta-induced complications. A definition
has emerged which is now called the new name istmosel, also called cesarean
scar defect. Globally, the frequency is between 6.2% and 36%. Scar tissue in
the old cesarean section causes problems such as menometrorrhagia, staining
and infertility in patients. There are laparoscopic and hysteroscopic treatment
approaches. Since there is a new terminology, there is no comprehensive
publication in the literature to provide a general view on diagnosis and treatment.
The primary treatment approach we offer in this case is laparoscopic surgery.
Case Presentaion: A 37-year-old patient with gravida 2, parity 2, two previous
cesarean section stories had complaints of continuing intermenstrual bleeding
for 2 years. When the patient’s examination and radiological evaluation is done,
there was fluid accumulation in the old cesarean section. In the ultrasonographic
examination; a dome-shaped fluid collection of about 2.3x1.4 cm was observed in
the uterine lower segment anterior Wall. As a result, laparoscopic approach was
decided for istmosel treatment.
Conclusion: There is no consensus in the literature as to what type of suture or
energy modality should be used to repair the isthmocele. In addition, there is
no consensus on the superiority of double-layer suturing and superiority of the
laparoscopic or hysteroscopic approach in cesarean scar repai
Al-Kulira’s Poetry Works of Nazik al-Malaika: Sociological Literature Analysis
In 1947, Egypt experienced a cholera epidemic that killed thousands of people every day for three months. Furthermore, Nazik al-Malaika wrote a poem entitled al-Kulira. The poem describes events and expresses deep sorrow over the spread of cholera. The poem became the first free poetry in Arabic literature. This study describes the sociological theory of Wellek & Werren\u27s to find state point of view of the author, the sociology of literary works, and the sociology of the readers of al-Kulira’s poetry, with descriptive analysis method and objective approach. The results of this study is in terms of socio-cultural background in authorship; Nazik, was born in an environment that loves science and literature. It was concluded that Nazik\u27s thought of composing al-Kulira\u27s poetry was influenced by the cholera epidemic sweeping Egypt then. Nazik\u27s expressions in his poetry, which are filled with sorrow and sadness, are influenced by the large number of Egyptian people who died due to a cholera epidemic
Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR)
During 2000–2018, the percentage of adults aged 6565 years who had ever received a pneumonia vaccine increased. The percentage increased from 48.0% to 64.8% among adults aged 65–74 years, from 59.5% to 74.9% among adults aged 75–84 years, and from 56.4% to 76.3% among adults aged 6585 years. Throughout the period, adults aged 65–74 years were less likely to have ever received a pneumonia vaccine than adults aged 6575 years.Source: National Health Interview Survey, 2000–2018. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nhis.htm.Reported by: Ellen A. Feminizing Nazik Al-Mala’ika in Modern Arabic Criticism
This paper is an attempt by Cultural Criticism, in a way that is almost a “coincidence” to do justice to Nazik Al-Mala’ika, after being subjected to some severe attacks by aesthetic criticism, at the hands of critics who did her wrong, as stated by Jabir Asfoor. When I say Cultural Criticism, I mean the stage in which this approach, vision or mechanism started to loom large in the arena of modern Arabic criticism. The critic does not necessarily need to be a cultural critic to be fair. On the contrary, cultural criticism is basically looking after the gruesome aspects, after aestheticism has been looking for shining aspects in literature. And to be fair, this paper is not concerned with the hideousness or aesthetics of Nazik Al-Mala’ika. Rather, it is concerned with reading the critics who viewed her from a cultural perspective, or at least, the researcher believes that the vision of the critic is an implied cultural one, albeit unannounced, as with Jabir Asfoor. However, this does not apply to Al-Ghathami nor Al-Sultan, who tackled Nazik Al-Mala’ika on the basis of a well-informed cultural vision. This paper is a reading in three books of criticism: Tahawualtun Shi’riyyia [Poetic Transformation] by Jabir Asfoor; Ta’neethu Al-Qasida wa Al-Qari’u Al-Mukhtalif [Feminizing the Poem and the Different Reader] by Abdulla Ghathami; and Nazik Al-Mala’ika bayn Al-Kitabiyyati wa Ta’neethu Al-Qasida [Nazik Al-Mala’ika between the Writing Process and Feminizing the Poem] by AbdulAdheemAl-Sultan. The paper found out that an implied pattern interspersed in their critical writing, which is an attempt to redress Nazik Al-Mala’ika by means of “feminizing” her.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
First Records of Late Devonian Entomozoacean Ostracods in North-western Turkey
Entomozoacean ostracods (pelagic so-called fi ngerprint-ostracods) have recently been observed for the fi rst
time in Upper Devonian sediments of the Darlık B Section from the İstanbul region, north-western Turkey. Th ese
new assemblages consist of Entomoprimitia nitida, Entomoprimitia sartenaeri, Entomoprimitia concentrica, Franklinella
calcarata, Waldeckella erecta?, Rabienella n. sp. c, aff . reichi sensu Rabien & Rabitz 1958, Rabienella reichi, Richterina
(Volkina) zimmermanni and Nehdentomis pseudorichterina and can be dated as Late Frasnian Entomoprimitia sartenaeri
Zone (= variostriata Zone sensu Rabien 1954).
Th ese entomozoacean ostracods indicate a faunal relationship with Germany (Rhenish Schiefergebirge, Harz Mountains,
Th uringia), Poland (Holy Cross Mountains), N France-Belgium (Ardennes), Volgo-Ural Region and South China in the
Late Devonian
Late Tertiary ostracodes of Salbaş- İmamoğlu (Adana) region
The aim of this study is to describe the late Tertiary aged Ostracoda fauna around Salbaş-İmamoğlu, Adana basin, and to introduce systematically them. In this aim 5 stratigraphical section have been measured and 150 paleontological samples have been collected from late Tertiary aged Kuzgun and Handere formation. As a result, 32 genera and 53 species of ostracodes have been fixed in late Tertiary aged units. According to these ostracodes, the study area have been affected from, warm, salty and shallow marine environment in late Tertiary time
Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR)
In 2020, 25.3% of adults aged 6518 years met the 2018 federal physical activity guidelines for both muscle-strengthening and aerobic physical activity. The percentage meeting both guidelines was highest in adults living in large central metropolitan (28.0%) and large fringe metropolitan areas (27.6%), followed by those living in medium and small metropolitan areas (23.4%) and lowest in those living in nonmetropolitan areas (18.1%).Source: National Center for Health Statistics, National Health Interview Survey, 2020. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nhis.htmReported by: Cynthia Reuben, MA; Nazik Elgaddal, MS; Ellen A. Notes on beyrichiacean ostracodes from the Early Devonian of NW Turkey andtheir palaeobiogeographical relations
Recently found materials of large beyrichiacean ostracodes from the Early Devonian of the Darlık, Korucuköy, and Kabalakdere sections in NW Anatolia stimulated the restudy of ostracode collections from the İstanbul area, including the Toula collection (GBA Vienna) and Endriss collection (previously in GPI Marburg and currently in SMF Frankfurt), and their biostratigraphical and palaeogeographical significance. The species Gibba kayseri, Gibba schmidti, Zygobeyrichia roemeri, Zygobeyrichia subcylindrica, and Zygobeyrichia onusta are documented and beyrichiid gen. et sp. indet. is described. There are great similarities with ostracode faunas from Early Devonian shallow-water sediments of Europe and North Africa (in Germany from the Rhenish Schiefergebirge to Thuringia, northern France, Spain, Poland, Bohemia, Podolia, Moravia, and North-West Africa). Therefore, this distribution questions the presence of a deeper and wider Rheic Ocean, which would be difficult for shallow-water benthic organisms to cross
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
