Il «senso primario del valore come impegno»: il permanere del trascendentalismo della prassi in Dal Pra
Starting from the manuscript notebooks stored in the philosopher's personal archive, the article aims to show how the theme of the tran- scendentalism of praxis (t.d.p.), developed by Dal Pra particularly during the 1950s, remained an important point of reference for him at least until the mid- 1970s. Taking the original and public formulation of the t.d.p. as his starting- point, the Author fol- lows the recurring and constant return of the philosopher's unpublished notes to some conceptual focal points, for which the t.d.p.'s contribution was still relevant: the rela- tionships between philosophy and history of philosophy, theory and praxis, and gene- ral "orientation" and sectoral concepts. A different and more complex picture emerges compared to the common historiographical thesis, in a certain sense supported by Dal Pra himself, of an interest in the t.d.p. arising and developed within a limited and clo- sed time frame
An assessment of the impact of possible CAP reform scenarios on Romanian agriculture
Using a simplified model, with key-variable the prices of two different possible scenarios of CAP reform after 2013 (moderate and radical), this paper present a comparison between the price effects of implementation of each reform scenario at 2015 horizon on Romanian agriculture. This short analysis shows that, under the presented hypotheses, the net welfare effect, due to the price changes, for the selected products, is positive in both reform scenarios, yet greater in the case of the radical reform. Integrated in the large context of Romanian development, it seems that the influence of CAP reform upon agriculture and rural areas will be most likely a gradual one: an interpenetration between the two scenarios is foreseeable, starting with the moderate reform that will dominate the period around 2013, the reform measures acquiring a more radical character afterwards.CAP reform, Romania, welfare effects, Agricultural and Food Policy,
Didattiche attive, tecnologie digitali e peer instruction all’Università
E' un elaborato multidisciplinare comportando l’analisi di istituti, norme e principi non solo giuslavoristici, ma anche propri del diritto privato generale e del diritto antritrustThis thesis deals with the principle of competition between labor law, social rights and professional associations. it is an elaborate multi-disciplinary analysis of the leading institutions, rules and principles not only labor law but also of their private law and general law antritrus
Rich, Sturmian, and trapezoidal words
In this paper we explore various interconnections between rich words, Sturmian words, and trapezoidal words. Rich words, first introduced by the second and third authors together with J. Justin and S. Widmer, constitute a new class of finite and infinite words characterized by having the maximal number of palindromic factors. Every finite Sturmian word is rich, but not conversely. Trapezoidal words were first introduced by the first author in studying the behavior of the subword complexity of finite Sturmian words. Unfortunately this property does not characterize finite Sturmian words. In this note we show that the only trapezoidal palindromes are Sturmian. More generally we show that Sturmian palindromes can be characterized either in terms of their subword complexity (the trapezoidal property) or in terms of their palindromic complexity. We also obtain a similar characterization of rich palindromes in terms of a relation between palindromic complexity and subword complexity
Modeling of organic thin film transistors: Effect of contact resistances
Field effect transistors require an Ohmic source contact and an Ohmic drain contact for ideal operation. In many real situations, however, and specifically in organic devices, the injection of charge carriers from metals into semiconductors can be an inefficient process that is non-Ohmic. This has an adverse impact on the performance of thin film transistors and makes the analysis of electrical measurements a complex task because contact effects need to be disentangled from transistor properties. This paper deals with the effects of non-Ohmic contacts on the modeling of organic transistors and gives specific rules on how to extract the real transistor parameters (mobility, threshold voltage, and contact resistances) using only electrical measurements. The method consists of a differential analysis of the transfer characteristic curves (current versus gate voltage) and exploits the different functional dependences of current on gate voltage which is induced by the presence of contact resistances. This paper fully covers the situations from constant carrier mobility to power law gate-voltage-dependent mobility, from constant contact resistance to gate-voltage-dependent contact resistance, and in the linear and in the saturation regime of the operation of the transistor. It also gives important criteria for the validation of the extracted parameters to assess whether the conditions for the application of the method are fulfilled. Examples of application to organic transistors showing various behaviors are given and discussed. © 2007 American Institute of Physics
1903: teoria della conoscenza e metafisica, Martinetti legge Cornelius
The article focuses on Martinetti’s reception of Hans Cornelius’s work Einleitung in die Philosophie. The early reading of the book, published in 1903 and immediately studied by Martinetti, shows that it was functional to the development of some specific theoretical themes in Martinetti's thought. A brief reconstruction of the reception of Cornelius’s early works in the European philosophical milieu is also provided
