Implementation of the PjBL model to enhance problem solving skill and skill competency of community college student
The research aims at enhance problem solving ability and competency skills of students. The method used was classroom action research in the course of welding practice with a group of 10 students. The research data obtained from the problem solving skills assessment interview techniques, competency skills gained from the project assessment and a written test, and the improvement data were analyzed using average gain (g). PjBL model provides students the opportunity to solve the problems of the real world by creating innovative works through their project work. PjBL model provides opportunities and experiences for students to solve the problem so the next project the students already have experience and ability to make decisions about what effort needs to be done to solve the problem. The power of thinking ability in solving the problem implications for increasing student competency skills, because any problems found can be resolved properly so that the process and the work of students increased for the better. From these results be obtained conclude the implementation of project based learning models can enhance the problem solving ability and competency skills of students
The Machine Punch Mulch: A Pneumatic Pierching and Control With Fuzzy Logic Control
Agricultural tools and machine innovation aimed at could improve efficiency of land and labor, saving energy and resources (seed,
fertilizer, water and equipment), improving effectively, productivity and quality of agricultural products, reducing the workload of farmers,
maintaining environmental sustainability and agricultural products and increasing farmers income welfare. One of the efforts that made was
using Plastic Mulch in the cultivation of horticultural agriculture. Installation of plastic mulch on cultivated plants more efficient if installed
after plastic mulch was perforated. This research explained about automatic mulch punching machine used Fuzzy Logic Control intelligent
system control that be equipped with microcontroller and sensor and controlled cellophane for the perforation process. Mulch punching machine
that effective, save, easy to operated, cheap and affordable by the community. The test result know the response Fuzzy Logic Control of control
system toward arrangement of DC motor speed, sensor function, punching blide driver solenoid, position and hole distance generated, time
required and easy to operation for variation range and hole size certain for intercropping system

Improve Learning Outcomes of Students Through Implementation of The Collaborative Project-Based Learning Model in Thermodynamics
This paper discusses the effect of CPjBL models to improve students' thermodynamics learning outcomes. The methods of research was a quasi-experimnetal study and the sampel consisted of two classes. One class was assigned to be an experimental group (EG, n=29) and directed as a collaborative project-based learning group. The other class was assigned to be the control group (CG, n=25) and directed as a conventional learning group. The study found that the use of CPjBL model in thermodynamic’s subject shown that students were more motivated to learn, more confident and more better solve problems given, responsible and able to work in teams. T-tests of learning outcomes for the experimental and control class were performed significantly difference. Finally, the conclusion of this research was CPjBL model more effective than conventional model in the thermodynamic's subject, especially in technical and vocational education
Utilization of Potential Water Energy in Irrigation Channels for Pico-Hydro Power Plant
The study aim to explained about design of Pico-hydro Power Plant by use water potential energy on irrigation channel to generated pico-hydro scale electric energy with maximum power below 0.5 KW. Actual discharge analysis, turbine selection, type of generator used and impact of generator output toward loading were tested in the field to be able to produced pico-hydro power plant that produce electrical energy that can be enjoyed by rural communities with regard to secure generator system, environmentally friendly, easy to operate and affordable so that the electrical energy needs of remote rural communities can be overcome
The Seven Steps of Project Based Learning Model to Enhance Productive Competences of Vocational Students
this study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the
seven steps of Project based learning model (PjBL) in order to
enhance the student’s productive competences. The
implementation of the PjBL model was implemented in two
places at different times, there were at Akademi Komunitas Negeri
Tanah Datar and Akademi Komunitas Negeri Pesisir Selatan.
Previously, the seven steps of PjBL model was validated by
experts judgment and measured by Aiken coefficient significantly
(0.796),
also this syntax e reliable to be implemented in vocational
learning process. The seven steps, consisting of: (1) the
formulating the expected learning outcome, (2) understanding
the concept of the teaching materials, (3) skills training, (4)
designing the project theme, (5) making the project proposal, (6)
executing the tasks of projects and (7) presentation of the project
report. The study showed that the implementation of seven steps
of PjBL, were practice and effective to enhance student’s
productive competences
The Practicality of Learning Module Based on Jigsaw-Cooperative Learning Model in Media Education Course
Students’ perceptions of the project based on the potential of their region: A Project-based learning implementation
Developing engineering students whose ability to work and make a real contribution to the development of technology can be done not only after they have graduated from college but also when they are still in college. One of the strategies is by implementing project-based learning with the project based on the potential of the student's region. This study aims to reveal students’ perceptions of learning and soft skills acquisition toward the implementation of the strategy to answer whether the project is effective to implement. This study was conducted on fifty-one Indonesian college students who took Mechanical Drawing course. It belongs to a one-shot case study with mixed-method approach. The result shows that the project based on the potential of the student’s region is effective to raise their perception of motivation, interest, real-world, very beneficial, learning more lecture and enjoyable so that they learn more actively and provide more time to study. It also develops students’ soft skills, including teamwork, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. The results may have pedagogical implications in improving learning quality in Mechanical Drawing course by enriching project references used in implementing project-based learning. Furthermore, the project given can be a solution in developing the potential of the students’ regions
