Students’ choice of digital educational resource: Psychological aspect
The issue of psychological feasibility of distance learning is understudied and remains relevant both in theoretical and practical terms. The purpose of the study viewed in the article is to identify the connection between students’ preferences to study using the Internet and electronic textbooks with their personal psychological traits. Presumably, confident, self-organized students have a positive attitude towards their use, while anxious, emotionally unstable students have a negative attitude. The study involves 1st–4th year students (N = 270, aged from 17to 21years; 61.3% women) students, who specialize in Economics and Agricultural Industry in Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy. We used the following techniques: questionnaire developed by O. N. Malakhova, O. A. Zhuchenko, aimed at studying students’ preferences and Cattell’s Personality Factor Questionnaire (16-PF), form C, which has the goal to study personality traits that are significant for the research. It was found that there was a direct interconnection between students’ preference to use digital educational resources with their personal psychological traits. The study revealed that students with self-discipline and analytical mindset have a negative attitude to the use of electronic textbooks and distance learning. It was found that among the main personal psychological characteristics of students, which influence their preferences, are sensitivity and radicalism, anxiety and lack of self-discipline. We did not confirm the hypothesis put forward in the study. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be implemented in educational practice to increase the efficiency of educational process and in the development of digital training courses. STATEMENT OF THE OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM OF CARBON PRODUCTS PRODUCTION
The paper formulated optimization problem formulation production of carbon products. The analysis of technical and economic parameters that can be used to optimize the production of carbonaceous products had been done by the author. To evaluate the efficiency of the energy-intensive production uses several technical and economic indicators. In particular, the specific cost, productivity, income and profitability of production. Based on a detailed analysis had been formulated optimality criterion that takes into account the technological components of profitability. The components in detail the criteria and the proposed method of calculating non-trivial, one of them - the production cost of each product. When solving the optimization problem of technological modes of production into account constraints on the variables are optimized. Thus, restrictions may be expressed on the number of each product produced. Have been formulated the method of calculating the cost per unit of product. Attention is paid to the quality indices of finished products as an additional constraint in the optimization problem. As a result have been formulated the general problem of optimizing the production of carbon products, which includes the optimality criterion and restrictions

ABC transporters in Dictyostelium discoideum development
ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters can translocate a broad spectrum of molecules across the cell membrane including physiological cargo and toxins. ABC transporters are known for the role they play in resistance towards anticancer agents in chemotherapy of cancer patients. There are 68 ABC transporters annotated in the genome of the social amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum. We have characterized more than half of these ABC transporters through a systematic study of mutations in their genes. We have analyzed morphological and transcriptional phenotypes for these mutants during growth and development and found that most of the mutants exhibited rather subtle phenotypes. A few of the genes may share physiological functions, as reflected in their transcriptional phenotypes. Since most of the abc-transporter mutants showed subtle morphological phenotypes, we utilized these transcriptional phenotypes to identify genes that are important for development by looking for transcripts whose abundance was unperturbed in most of the mutants. We found a set of 668 genes that includes many validated D. discoideum developmental genes. We have also found that abcG6 and abcG18 may have potential roles in intercellular signaling during terminal differentiation of spores and stalks
Self-assessment of academic achievements in the examination situation and personality traits of students of the youth age period
The study presents the results of the correlation between students’ predictive competence and their personal characteristics. The relevance and novelty of the research results are attributed to the specification of the problematic issue connected with predictive competence. The latter is determined through the students’ subjective characteristics which are associated with self-assessment of academic achievements in the examination situation. The developed predictive competence is one of the acmeological invariants of professionalism and a resource that increases stress resistance. The aim of the research is to study the correlation between personality traits of students of the youth age period and the adequacy of their self-assessment of the academic achievements in a stressful examination situation. The study hypothesizes that personal characteristics of students determine the adequacy level of their self-assessment of the academic results and reduce the level of examination stress. The sample
of the study comprises 287 first- and second-year students of the youth age period, majoring in natural sciences and socio-economic educational areas and specialties of Udmurt State Agrarian University (Izhevsk) (their average age is 18.5; 45% are girls, 55% are boys). The methods (tools) of the research are as follows: in order to fix the components of self-assessment of academic achievements and the level of mental tension of young people in the examination situation, the authors used the Dembo – Rubinstein technique (in the original modification); to determine the features of predictive skills, the “Anticipatory Consistency Test” developed by V. D. Mendelevich (ACT) was used; to measure the manifestations of anxiety as a personal quality that affects the stress level during examinations, the “The Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale” was applied (adapted by T. A. Nemchin, V. G. Noskaridze), to measure the level of the control locus the “Rotter’s Locus of Control Scale” (adapted by E. F. Bazhin,
E. A. Golynkina, A. M. Etkind) was used. The study results. Positive correlation between the locus of control and personal anxiety and negative cor-
relation between the predictive competence and situational tension are characteristic of students with an adequate self-assessment of academic
achievements. Developed predictive competence reduces the exam stress. The conclusion. Adequate self-assessment of academic achievements in a stressful situation contributes to the management of one’s own activities and to a better manifestation of competencies while performing intellectual tests. The obtained results are used to improve the personality-oriented program for the development of adequate self-assessment of academic achievements which serves as a stress resistance resource of students of the youth age period
Розробка та дослідження спрощеної математичної моделі процесу випалювання вуглецевих виробів
The development of optimal control of the process of baking carbon products involves consideration of the influence of characteristic zones of the furnace and uniformity of the temperature field of workpieces. This statement suggests the development of a distributed-parameter mathematical model of the furnace. It is known that the calculation time of such models is quite large, and then their application in real time is impossible. According to the above, for further development of the optimal control system of the baking process, there is a need to reduce the full mathematical model providing the necessary calculation time.The reduced mathematical model of the baking process, which differs from the known models in shorter calculation time was developed and investigated in compliance with accuracy requirements.It is found that for cases of using n>15 first basis vectors, the restriction on the permissible error of approximation of the values of Fourier coefficients is fulfilled. The possibility of choosing the optimal structure of identification models determines the possibility of obtaining temperature images of the reduced mathematical model with the necessary accuracy.The results obtained allow flexible selection of the reduced mathematical model in accordance with the technical capabilities of computing equipment.Given that in the process of baking carbon products, the defining temperatures are workpiece temperatures, only control points of workpieces were selected for the quality study of reduced models.Since the process of baking carbon products consists of three main stages, three reduced mathematical models of these stages were implemented for adequate modeling of such a process.The study of the accuracy of reduced models included comparisons of temperature values calculated by the reduced model with temperatures calculated by the initial model, which in this case was considered as a generator of experimental dataРазработка оптимального управления процессом обжига углеродных изделий предполагает учет влияния характерных зон печи и однородности температурного поля по заготовкам. Данное утверждение предполагает разработку математической модели печи обжига с распределенными параметрами. Известно, что время расчета таких моделей достаточно велико, а затем их применения в реальном времени невозможно. Согласно выше сказанному для дальнейшей разработки системы оптимального управления процессом обжига существует потребность в упрощении полной математической модели, обеспечивающей нужное время расчета.Разработана и исследована упрощенная математическая модель процесса обжига, которая отличается от известных моделей меньшим временем расчета при соблюдении поставленных требований по ее точности.Установлено, что для случаев использования n>15 первых базис векторов обеспечивает выполнение ограничения по допустимой погрешности аппроксимации значений коэффициентов Фурье. Возможность выбора оптимальной структуры идентификационных моделей определяет возможность получения температурных снимков упрощенной математической модели с необходимой точностью.Полученные результаты позволяют гибко выбрать вариант упрощенной математической модели в соответствии с техническими возможностями вычислительной техники.Учитывая, что в процессе обжига углеродных изделий определяющими температурами являются температуры заготовок, то для исследования качества упрощенных моделей были выбраны контрольные точки только по заготовкам.Поскольку процесс обжига углеродных изделий состоит из трех основных этапов, то для адекватного моделирования такого процесса было реализовано три упрощенные математические модели данных этапов.Исследование точности упрощенных моделей включало сравнения значений температур, рассчитанных по упрощенной модели, с температурами, вычисленными по начальной модели, которая в данном случае рассматривалась как генератор экспериментальных данныхРозробка оптимального керування процесом випалювання вуглецевих виробів передбачає врахування впливів характерних зон печі та однорідності температурного поля по заготовкам. Відповідно до вище сказаного для подальшої розробки системи оптимального керування процесом випалювання існує потреба у спрощенні повної математичної моделі, що забезпечує потрібний час розрахунку.Розроблена та досліджена спрощена математична модель процесу випалювання, яка відрізняється від відомих моделей меншим часом розрахунку при дотриманні поставлених вимог щодо її точності.Встановлено, що длявипадків використання n>15 перших базис-векторів забезпечує виконання обмеження по допустимій похибці апроксимації значень коефіцієнтів Фур’є. Evaluation of carbamylated darbepoetin acute toxicity
Carbamylated darbepoetin is a promising pharmacological agent with universal cytoprotective activity. To assess the acute toxicity, the drug was administered to white laboratory mice and white laboratory rats subcutaneously (from 1000 to 5000 μg / kg) and intravenously (500 to 2500 μg / kg). There was no lethality and no phenotypic changes (including from the red blood sprout) in both species of animals. METHOD OF FLUORIMETRIC DETERMINATION OF POTASSIUM CYANATE IN CARBAMYLATED DARBEPOIETIN ALPHA DRUG SUBSTANCE
Method of determination of potassium cyanate in carbamylated darbepoietin alpha drug substance was developed. The method is based on derivatization of cyanate by methyl ester of anthranilic acid followed by formation bicyclic derivative (1-H,3-H-quinazolinedione), which is able to fluorescence.
