Cobalt(III), zinc(II), cadmium(II) and palladium(II) complexes with the hydrolysed and non-hydrolysed condensation products of 2-acetylpyridine with ethyl hydrazinoacetate: X-ray structure analysis of mer-bis{(E)-2-[N '-(1-pyridin-2-yl-ethylidene)hydrazin
Four Co(III), Zn(II), Pd(II) and Cd(II) complexes with ligands derived in situ from acetylpyridine and ethyl hydrazinoacetate or hydrolysed ethyl hydrazinoacetate were prepared. An X-ray structural analysis showed that the Co(III) complex is octahedral with two tridentate (E)-2-[N'-(1-pyridin-2-yl-ethylidene) hydrazino] acetate (apha) ligands, each forming two five-membered rings with the metal ion. In the tetrahedral Zn(II) complex, only a single apha ligand was coordinated, in the same way as that in the Co(III) complex. In the case of the tetrahedral Cd(II) complex the non-hydrolysed form of (E)-2-[N'-(1-pyridin2-yl-ethylidene)hydrazino]acetic acid ethyl ester (aphaoet) coordinated as a bidentate and the two remaining coordination sites were occupied by Cl- and CH3COO- ions. In addition, the square-planar neutral Pd(II) complex was synthesized, having the same bidentate as in the Cd(II) complex and two Cl- ions in the remaining coordination sites. Due to their being diamagnetic, all four complexes were characterized by H-1-NMR and C-13-NMR spectroscopy

Harmonic diffeomorphisms of noncompact surfaces and Teichmüller spaces
Let g : M -> N be a quasiconformal harmonic diffeomorphism between noncompact Riemann surfaces M and N. In this paper we study the relation between the map g and the complex structures given on M and N. In the case when M and N are of finite analytic type we derive a precise estimate which relates the map g and the Teichmüller distance between complex structures given on M and N. As a corollary we derive a result that every two quasiconformally related finitely generated Kleinian groups are also related by a harmonic diffeomorphism. In addition, we study the question of whether every quasisymmetric selfmap of the unit circle has a quasiconformal harmonic extension to the unit disk. We give a partial answer to this problem. We show the existence of the harmonic quasiconformal extensions for a large class of quasisymmetric maps. In particular it is proved that all symmetric selfmaps of the unit circle have a unique quasiconformal harmonic extension to the unit disk
Dynamic Conflict-Free Colorings in the Plane
We study dynamic conflict-free colorings in the plane, where the goal is to maintain a conflict-free coloring (CF-coloring for short) under insertions and deletions.
- First we consider CF-colorings of a set S of unit squares with respect to points. Our method maintains a CF-coloring that uses O(log n) colors at any time, where n is the current number of squares in S, at the cost of only O(log n) recolorings per insertion or deletion We generalize the method to rectangles whose sides have lengths in the range [1, c], where c is a fixed constant. Here the number of used colors becomes O(log^2 n). The method also extends to arbitrary rectangles whose coordinates come from a fixed universe of size N, yielding O(log^2 N log^2 n) colors. The number of recolorings for both methods stays in O(log n).
- We then present a general framework to maintain a CF-coloring under insertions for sets of objects that admit a unimax coloring with a small number of colors in the static case. As an application we show how to maintain a CF-coloring with O(log^3 n) colors for disks (or other objects with linear union complexity) with respect to points at the cost of O(log n) recolorings per insertion. We extend the framework to the fully-dynamic case when the static unimax coloring admits weak deletions. As an application we show how to maintain a CF-coloring with O(sqrt(n) log^2 n) colors for points with respect to rectangles, at the cost of O(log n) recolorings per insertion and O(1) recolorings per deletion.
These are the first results on fully-dynamic CF-colorings in the plane, and the first results for semi-dynamic CF-colorings for non-congruent objects

Abstract CIRKOVIC, M., N. MILOSEVIC, M. MARKOVIC and A. POTKONJAK, 2010. Brain myxoboliasis of common carp. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) originating from Serbian fish ponds was examined for presence of Myxobolus encephalicus. The spores of M. encephalicus were present in blood vessels and meningeal layers. Its presence has been noted in 32-days old carp fingerlings, where in brain blood vessels predominate plasmodium parasites shape. Although, plasmodium does not effect blood vessels obturation as it is in the spore's case, clinical signs which were similar to those in trout, occurred in the 15-30 days old carps. Fingerlings growth rate and conversion ranged normally. Blood test results in fingerlings with high number of spores in brain had similar values to those in unaffected fingerlings. The morbidity percentage was higher for carps up to the one-month old cultured in the ponds serving for older carp winter storage
