Microsoft Powerapps -ohjelman soveltuvuus matka- ja kululaskutuksen mobiilisovelluksen luomiseen : toiminnallinen toteutus Digia Oyj:lle
Tässä opinnäytetyössä tarkastellaan mobiilisovelluksen luomista Microsoft PowerApps -virtuaalialustalla, joka ei vaadi aiempaa ohjelmointiosaamista. Tutkimus on toteutettu luomalla matka- ja kululaskujen syöttöön tarkoitettu mobiilisovellus. Matka- ja kululaskut syötetään mobiilisovelluksella web service -rajapinnan yli Microsoft D365 Business Central -toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän tietokantaan jatkokäsittelyä varten.
Työssä tutkimus on tehty toiminnallisena työnä hyödyntäen kirjallisuus- ja verkkomateriaalia, asiantuntijahaastatteluita ja vertailuanalyysia. Opinnäytetyön laatija on työskennellyt asiantuntijatehtävissä 2018 alkaen työn toimeksiantajayrityksessä, Digia Oyj:ssä.
Haastattelut on tehty opinnäytetyön kohdeyrityksen työntekijöille. Niissä tarkennetaan PowerApps-sovelluksen tarpeita ja sen tuomia mahdollisuuksia, ja verrataan niitä työssä tehtyihin havaintoihin. Vertailuanalyysi toteutuu luomalla vastaava mobiilisovellus suoraan toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän käyttöliittymään.
Tutkimuksen tuloksina syntyi matka- ja kululaskujen sovellus Microsoft PowerAppsilla ja Microsoft Business Centralilla toteutettuna. Näiden sovellusten kehitysten pohjalta on kirjattu päätelmät teknillisestä ja kaupallisesta näkökulmasta, vertailu asiakkaan ja sovellustoimittajan hyödyistä sekä sovelluksen jatkokehitysideat.In this thesis is inspected creating a mobile software with Microsoft PowerApps virtual platform which requires no prior programming experience. Study is done by creating a mobile software for feeding travel expense and bill of service entries. The entries are inserted over web service API to Microsoft D365 Business Central ERP’s database for further handling.
Research has been done through a practical implementation by utilizing book and web material, specialist interviews and comparison analysis. The author of the thesis has worked as a specialist from 2018 onwards in the case company, Digia Plc.
Interviews are done for the case company’s employees. Questions are to pinpoint needs and opportunities of PowerApps and to compare them to observations done by the author. Comparison analysis is done by creating a similar software UI in the ERP.
As a result of the research, a software for travel expense and bill of service was made with Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft D365 Business Central. Conclusions have been written on the basis of the software development from technical and commercial aspects, comparison of customer’s and vendor’s benefits and further development ideas for the software

The dataset contains yearlong monthly measurements (June 2020 to April 2022) of water quality parameters, CO2, CH4 and N2O concentrations from 23 streams, 3 drainage ditches and 2 wastewater effluent sites within within the Loisach, Schwingbach and Neckar catchments in Germany. The study sites covered various upstream land uses (croplands, wetlands, grasslands, settlements and forests) as well as stream orders (1-6). Measurements were mostly done during the day between 8.00 am and 5.00pm

Governing is comparable to a situation where a family head talks and listens regularly to each of his/her family members’ concerns and interests. As with the head of the family, the government’s focus on its people’s welfare encompasses a multitude of concerns – health, food security, education, employment, peace and order, and disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM), to name a few. DRRM has been a vital concern in recent years due to worldwide climate change conditions that have been wreaking havoc in the country and unduly affecting all aspects of people’s lives.
In implementing the policies, programs, and projects, communication is seen as one of the fundamental and crucial factors in the process of governing and in achieving the government’s development-oriented objectives.
Basically, this primer on governance communication is essential in understanding governance communication (govcomm) and its components (policy, institutions, personnel, media, communication mechanisms, and public sphere). Patterns and drivers of nitrous oxide concentrations and fluxes in headwater streams of the Mara river basin, Kenya
Headwater streams are important inland aquatic ecosystems when it comes to their contributions to the global N2O (a potent greenhouse gas) fluxes. It is estimated that they contribute approximately 10% to the global anthropogenic N2O emission rate. Despite this, flux estimates from them are still poorly constrained and with a lot of uncertainties. Factors, such as stream geomorphology and land use/cover, influence water quality. Variation in nutrient and carbon concentrations have also been studied as controls of these fluxes from the streams. However, processes that regulate their production rates are still not well understood. In Africa, few studies have been done to quantify these fluxes from inland waters and there has been very little focus on headwater streams. This research sought to quantify N2O concentrations and fluxes from the headwater streams of the Mara River in Kenya, access their spatial and temporal variation and determine their relationship with both physical and chemical drivers. A total of 52 sites were sampled in the upper Mara of which 47 were streams of orders 1- 6 across 3 land use types (agricultural, forest and livestock). Water samples collected with the gas samples were analysed for DIN, TDN and DOC. N2O concentrations and fluxes found ranged from 0.33 - 2.6 µg L-1 N2O-N and -11 -323 N2O-N µg m-2 h-1 respectively. Agricultural stream sites had the highest mean fluxes of 26.38 ± 5.37 N2O-N µg m-2h-1 while forest sites exhibited a lower mean of 14.75 ± 42.40 N2ON µg m-2h-1. Analysis was done using linear mixed models to identify relationships between N2O fluxes and concentrations with their physical and chemical drivers. Stream slope and velocity did not significantly explain variation in N2O concentration from the studied sites. However, discharge had a positive relationship to N2O concentration. In stream NO3-N and CO2-C (aq) concentrations were strongly positively correlated with N2O explaining > 50% of their variation. However, DO and C:N ratio showed a negative correlation with N2O concentration. From the results, I hypothesised that nitrification may be the main biogenic process controlling N2O production via autotrophic consumption of dissolved CO2 as an energy source. However, more research is required in order to test this hypothesis with much more accurate measurements of denitrification and nitrification rates

This study examines and describes Ricky Ian Gordon's musical interpretation of Langston Hughes' poetry in the song cycle, Genius Child. Chapters 2 and 3 contain biographies of the composer, Ricky Ian Gordon and the poet, Langston Hughes. Chapter 4 is a singer's analysis of each of the ten songs in Genius Child. Appendix A contains a discography. Appendix B contains a personal interview with the composer discussing his compositional process for Genius Child and his life in general. The author performed Genius Child in a doctoral recital on May 1, 2000. The song cycle was written for American soprano, Harolyn Blackwell, who sang the premiere at the Bermuda Festival in 1993. She also recorded Genius Child on her 1994 debut release from RCA Victor entitled Strange Hurt. Genius Child was published by Williamson Music in 1995.</p
Maybe it\u27s us? An organizational and systems level approach to reducing barriers to student success.
The author will be presenting a deep dive on the project and subsequent publication Systemic Solutions Driving Retention and Graduation Efforts at a Large, Selective Private Institution: A Scalable Project for Student Success by Ricky Urgo and Sonja Ardoin. Through the lens of an organizational analysis, the author will provide tangible takeaways for practitioners and faculty to bring back to their campuses and replicate. This is an important and necessary venture, as institutions increase their attention and resources on the recruitment and retention of first generation and working class students. Institutions were not constructed with these populations in mind, but we can make organizational, structural, and systemic changes to better serve these students, especially as our shortcomings as universities disproportionately impact this community (Flaherty, 2023; Urgo & Ardoin, 2024). Simultaneously, the author hopes to encourage exploration of the following:1) identifying new institutional barriers to student success, 2) improving understanding of how stakeholders navigate institutional infrastructure, 3) creating a culture where auditing internal practices and knowledge bases are commonplace, 4) uplifting student voice and experience, and 5) creating greater outcomes for all students
The structure and spatial distribution of dark matter halos
This is a study of how the distribution and properties of dark matter halos can be utilized as probes of fundamental questions in modern cosmology. Spatial clustering of dark matter halo carry a wealth of information regarding its evolution history and environment. In particular, I study halo assembly bias, which refers to the assembly history dependence of spatial clustering for dark matter halos at fixed mass, using observational and cosmological simulation data. Understanding and modeling assembly bias provides insight into the context of hierarchical structure formation theory. Indigenous art as decolonising truth-telling: Battle Mountain Memorial
This article discusses the potential of Indigenous art as epistemic decolonial truth-telling regarding any future possibility of transitional justice. When practised in a manner that is attentive to Indigenous knowledges and methodologies, works of art can engage audience members with sensual and symbolic forms that elicit reflection, understanding, engagement and conversations complementing written and spoken communication. Through the painting Battle Mountain Memorial (2022) by Kalkatungu artist and co-author Ricky Emmerton, the authors explore how Indigenous art can subtly express profound truths regarding the misuse of colonial power. Through removing the shroud of silence in retelling the incident of the massacre of Kalkatungu people at Battle Mountain in 1884, this artwork is presented as a form of truth-telling, ensuring these events and truths are not overlooked or supplanted. Thus, this article contributes to discussions on interdisciplinary methodologies that incorporate Indigenous and non-Indigenous research methods, and on the interaction of visual, written and oral knowledges

Abstract
Sometimes students lack cooperation in football learning because the teacher is still using conventional learning methods so that the low value of students ' cooperation in football. The purpose of this research is to know whether the implementation of tactical approaches can increase the value of student cooperation in football learning in SMPN 1 Lembang. Through method a tactical approach of learning is given in the form of game-drill-game given to students of class VII E SMPN 1 Lembang with a total of 34 students consisting of 16 male students and 18 female students as the subject of research given Action with a class action research design from Hopkins (1993) consisting of two cycles in which each cycle includes planning, action, observation, and reflection and a cooperative instrument from Adang Suherman (2001). All collected data is analyzed by the percentage, the student's cooperation value at the initial observation of 21%, in the cycle I action I that is 22%, in the cycle I action II is 24%, in the cycle II action I is 45% and on II Action II cycle of 72%. The conclusion is based on the data analysis results, that with a tactical approach in football learning can improve students cooperation. In this thesis the author uses a tactical approach to inprove cooperation in football activities, hence the author recommends to use a method of tactical approach in learning in perticular to improve students cooperation.
