The Application of Religious Tolerance Values in Salafiyyah Islamic Boarding Schools: A Case Study of Pesantren Al-Muthmainnah
Full text linkReligious tolerance is a fundamental value that sustains social harmony in a diverse society like Indonesia. Pesantren, particularly the Salafiyyah Al-Muthmainnah Islamic boarding school, as an educational institution emphasizing traditional Islamic teachings through the kitab kuning (classical Islamic texts), plays a strategic role in instilling the value of religious tolerance among its students to face the challenges of pluralism in society. Despite the absence of specific subjects on religious tolerance in the pesantren curriculum, students encounter the challenge of understanding how to implement tolerance in daily life. This issue makes it intriguing to explore how religious tolerance values are applied in this pesantren. This research examines the implementation of religious tolerance values in Pesantren Salafiyyah Al-Muthmainnah. Employing a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with informants at the pesantren, using a triangulation approach. The analysis involved comparing observations and interviews, focusing on the learning processes, and applying religious tolerance values at Pesantren Salafiyyah Al-Muthmainnah. The findings reveal that Pesantren Al-Muthmainnah successfully implements religious tolerance values through the teaching of kitab kuning, wise instruction on differences in Islamic schools of thought (madhab), and community activities that reflect respect for diversity, both within the Muslim community and among followers of different religions. Therefore, despite its foundation in classical Islamic traditions, Pesantren Al-Muthmainnah serves as a solid platform for fostering religious tolerance values and significantly contributes to creating a harmonious society.

Religius Values in Novel Nafsul Muthmainnah by Anfika Noer
Full text linkThis study aims to describe religious values in the novel Nafsul Muthmainnah by Anfika Noer. The religious values analyzed include regulatory aspects (sharia), beliefs (creeds), and actions (morals). The approach used, namely the qualitative approach and the method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method. The use of this method is adjusted to the main purpose of the research, which is to describe and analyze religious values in a novel entitled Nafsul Muthmainnah by Anfika Noer. Descriptive method is a method used to describe or analyze a research result but not used to make broader conclusions. The purpose of this descriptive study is to make a description, description, or painting systematically, factually and accurately about the facts, traits, and relationships between phenomena investigated. The content analysis method is able to uncover the tendency of message content based on the context of the content of a text. The depth of content analysis will be more complete and detailed in understanding the contents of the text and able to associate with the context of reality that occurs. In this study, data information analysis was carried out through the stages of identifying all data, describing data, analyzing data, then interpreting existing data based on religious values in the novel. Conclusions from this study, namely that there are many religious values related to regulations (shari'a), beliefs (creeds), and actions (morals) in the Nafsul Muthmainnah novel by Anfika Noer's work. The religious values contained in this novel, namely aspects of sharia as many as 13 data findings, aspects of faith as many as 21 data findings, and moral aspects as many as 42 data findings. The most finding data is the moral aspect as many as 42 data findings and the least is the sharia aspect of 13 data findings
HUBUNGAN ANTARA KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DENGAN ORIENTASI RELIGIUSITAS SISWA DI MADRASAH ALIYAH PONPES AL-MUTHMAINNAH SUMBAWA
Full text linkThis study aims to determine how is the correlation between communication interpersonal and the orientation of religiosity of the students of madrasah aliyah in the pesantren Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa. This research uses quantitative approach. The research subjects were taken using population study where the subject of the research be taken from the overall population with 142 students of Madrasah Aliyah in the pesantren Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa. The result of this research shows that there is a correlation between communication interpersonal and the orientation of religiosity with correlation coefficient value (rxy) of 0,687 with p value = 0.0000 / p < 0.05. Based on the average calculation in general, the general picture of communication interpersonal and the orientation of religiosity of the students of madrasah aliyah in the pesantren Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa is in high category. Based on the calculation for the data obtained from communication interpersonal scale, from 142 subjects, 101 subjects (71 %) are in high category, and 41 subjects (29%) are in moderate category. Meanwhile, from the result of calculation for data obtained from the orientation of religiosity scale, from 142 subjects, 138 subjects (97%) are in high category, and 4 subjects (3%) are in moderate category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Komunikasi Interpersonal Dan Orientasi Religiusitas Siswa Madrasah Aliyah Di Ponpes Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa. Metode pengambilan subjek dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi populasi dimana subjek penelitian dimbil dari keseluruhan jumlah populasi yaitu sebanyak 142 orang siswa Madrasah Aliyah Di Ponpes Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dan orientasi religiusitas dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,687 dengan nilai p hitung = 0,0000 / p < 0,05. Secara umum gambaran komunikasi interpersonal dan orientasi religiusitas siswa Madrasah Aliyah ponpes Al-Muthmainnah Sumbawa berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan untuk data yang diperoleh dari skala komunikasi interpersonal, dari 142 subjek didapat 101 orang (71%) berada pada kategori tinggi, dan 41 orang (29%) pada kategori sedang dan tidak ada subjek yang berada pada kategori rendah. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan data yang diperoleh dari skala religiusitas, dari 142 subjek didapati 138 orang (97%) berada pada kategori tinggi dan 4 orang (3%) berada pada kategori sedang dan tidak ada subjek yang berada pada kategori rendah

In communicating with others, we use language. But nowadays, many people do not think before talking. Mostly, they judge other people and say a little rough without knowing the truth. Living in society, people would find some different cultures. In this situation, they have a description toward the others whether it is positive or negative and it was called stereotype.
The problem statements of this research are: How are the positive and negative stereotype utterances in TV Series “Fresh Off The Boat (Season 1)” and what are the meaning of them. The researcher collects the data by watching the TV Series. After collecting the data, the researcher then analyzed, classified and explained them in sociolinguistics approach descriptive qualitatively.
The result of this research shows 8 positive stereotypes and 20 negative stereotypes. The result also shows that stereotypes in this research are classified into physical appearance aspect, goals aspect, abilities aspect, behavior aspect and gender aspect.

Dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang lain, kita menggunakan bahasa. Tapi saat ini, banyak orang tidak berpikir sebelum berbicara. Sebagian besar, mereka menilai orang lain dan mengatakan sedikit kasar tanpa mengetahui yang sebenarnya. Tinggal di masyarakat, orang akan menemukan beberapa budaya yang berbeda. Dalam situasi ini, mereka memiliki deskripsi terhadap yang lain apakah itu positif atau negatif dan itu disebut stereotip.
Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimanakah stereotip positif dan negatif dalam Seri TV "Segar Perahu (Seri 1)" dan apa maknanya? Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan menonton seri TV. Setelah mengumpulkan data, peneliti kemudian menganalisis dan mengklasifikasikan menggunakan teori tersebut dan menjelaskannya dalam pendekatan sosiolinguistik deskriptif secara kualitatif.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text linkThis article discusses the dynamics of personality from the perspective of Islamic psychology; study the concepts of anger, lawwamah, and muthmainnah, and their correlation with faith, Islam and Ihsan. With the aim of knowing the dynamics of personality in the perspective of Islamic psychology; study the concepts of anger, lawwamah, and muthmainnah, and their correlation with faith, Islam and Ihsan. This article uses qualitative research based on literature (library research) with a qualitative descriptive approach and technical descriptive analysis and content analysis. The results of this study indicate that personality is a unique arrangement of traits in a person that lasts a long time. In Islamic psychology, true humans consist of physical and spiritual elements, and are equipped and given the gift of reason, heart, and lust as provisions for living life. In the context of lust, human personality is contained in three passions, namely anger, lawwamah, and muthmainnah. The three of them must be able to be well optimized, anger must be able to be suppressed, lawwamah must be able to be cultivated and reach the degree of mutmainnah, so that they are able to become religious people (Islam), which is based on true and complete religious understanding and driven by a true belief (faith), so that the dedication carried out will result in useful behavior (Ihsan).Keywords: Personality, Anger, Lawwamah, Mutmainnah, Islam, Faith, Ihsan AbstrakArtikel ini membahas tentang dinamika kepribadian dalam perspektif psikologi Islam; telaah konsep amarah, lawwamah, dan muthmainnah, serta korelasinya dengan Iman, Islam dan Ihsan. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa kepribadian adalah susunan yang unik dari sifat-sifat seseorang yang berlangsung lama. Dalam psikologi Islam manusia sejati terdiri dari unsur jasmani dan rohani, serta dilengkapi dan diberi anugerah akal, kalbu, dan nafsu sebagai bekal menjalani kehidupan. Dalam konteks nafsu, kepribadian manusia terdapat dalam tiga nafsu, yaitu amarah, lawwamah, dan muthmainnah. Ketiganya harus mampu dioptimalkan dengan baik, amarah harus dapat diredam, lawwamah harus mampu dipupuk dan mencapai derajat mutmainnah, sehingga mampu menjadi orang beragama (Islam), yang didasarkan pada pemahaman keagamaan yang benar dan utuh dan didorong oleh sebuah keyakinan (Iman) yang benar, sehingga pengabdian yang dilakukan akan berbuah perilaku yang bermanfaat (Ihsan).Kata Kunci: Kepribadian, Amarah, Lawwamah, Muthmainnah, Islam, Iman, Ihsa
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
