Penerapan Platform Edmodo di Perguruan Tinggi: (Sebuah Survey di STKIP Muhammadiyah Bogor)
No full textNowadays, social media has become an integral part of student life, they use social networking sites to connect with friends and family. This study involved enhancing student learning experiences facilitated through social networking sites for educational purposes called Edmodo. This study aims to explore students' perceptions about the use of Edmodo as a complementary tool in learning. At the end of the lecture, 94 students who participated in this study completed a 5-Likert-scale survey questionnaire containing 30 items and 4 open-ended questions online. The findings reveal that Edmodo is considered a useful and beneficial learning tool for addressing deficiencies in face-to-face traditional classrooms because it provides various features that support student learning processes. As support for learning, Edmodo is considered an effective learning tool because it increases student motivation, flexibility, and participation in online learning activities. Further research is suggested on the use of Edmodo in students with different educational levels, cultural backgrounds and learning styles. These findings prove the pedagogical advantages of developing and designing blended learning classes.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the SQ3R learning model on poetry reading skills in class VIII students of SMP Mulia Cibungbulang Bogor. This research method is an experimental method. Based on the results of the test calculation, the value of tcount is 3.032 and ttable is 2.048 with a significant level of 0.05. So it can be stated that the hypothesis H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So the conclusion of this study is that there is a significant influence between the SQ3R learning model on reading poetry in class VIII students of SMP Mulia Cibungbulang Bogor
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Analisis Fenomena Kata Serapan Bahasa Asing dalam Penulisan di Ruang Publik
No full textBahasa Indonesia mengalami perjalanan sejarah yang panjang sejak kelahirannya pada tahun 1928. Dalam umurnya yang masih belia, bahasa Indonesia terus berproses mengikuti sifat kedinamisan bahasa secara umum. Satu di antara proses adaptasi adalah terjadinya penyerapan dari bahasa Asing. Kertas kerja ini menelaah fenomena kata serapan dari bahasa asing ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan yang dipadukan dengan penelusural literatur. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan, serapan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia berasal dari berbagai bahasa baik yang berasal dari daerah maupun dari luar negara. Salah satu bahasa asal adalah bahasa Arab yang fenomena kemunculannya marak di ruang publik belakangan ini seiring bertepatan dengan bulan Ramadan 1443 H (2022 M). Berdasarkan hasil observasi, penggunaan serapan bahasa Arab yang digunakan di ruang publik menggunakan bentuk asli dan tidak menerapkan kaidah serapan.
 
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
