The objective of this article is to analyze the intertextuality between poetry and painting in the book Under the brightness of the moon, through concept of ecfrasis. It takes into consideration theoretical and methodological approaches of William Mitchell, Michael Rifaterre, Pedro Agudelo and Luz Pimentel. The hypothesis is that the poet recreates paintings of Edvard Munch to explore the process of artistic creation. It concludes that the book contributes to Colombian poetry based on painting. Its poems reinvent Munch and exalt art as a dignified home when the author suffers madness, disenchantment and fear of death.El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la intertextualidad entre poesía y pintura en el libro Bajo el brillo de la luna, a partir del concepto de ecfrasis.
