No full textEl estado de San Luis Potosí se ubica en la parte Centro-Oriental de la República Mexicana. Está conformado por tres regiones geográficas: en la parte Noreste, con un paisaje de selva baja tropical, la Huasteca Potosina; al Norte, el área que se conoce como el Altiplano, cuyas características físicas lo asemejan más al desierto, y entre ambas regiones, la llamada zona media. La Huasteca fue habitada desde hace 4 500 años, por grupos de filiación lingüística protomaya, que ocuparon la gran faja costera que se extiende desde Soto la Marina (Tams.) hasta el río Cazones (Ver.); también ocuparon parte de San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Hidalgo y Puebla.</p

Full text linkEl presente trabajo estudia la historia editorial de las obras de Alonso Gerónimo de Salas Barbadillo desde el siglo xvii hasta nuestros días, con especial hincapié en la situación actual de los textos. Pese a que no estamos ante un autor desatendido, se pone de manifiesto que gran parte de sus creaciones adolecen todavía de ediciones filológicamente fiables. Además, se muestra cómo en ciertos casos no se ha respetado siquiera la integridad de los textos, provocando ideas críticas erróneas sobre la literatura de Salas.This paper studies the editorial history of Alonso Jerónimo de Salas Barbadillo's works since seventeen century until the actuality, with particular emphasis in the present situation of the texts. Although Salas Barbadillo is not an unattended author, our analysis evidences that much of his creations do not have editions with philological methods. Furthermore, we show how in certain cases the integrity of the texts have not been respected, causing wrong ideas about Salas' literature

No full textLa bioquímica Margarita Salas, deixeble de Severo Ochoa, va iniciar un projecte al Centre de Recerques Biològiques del CSIC sobre els bacteriòfags com a model d'estudi de la biologia molecular de la morfogènesi, la replicació i la transcripció, després d'una estada als Estats Units. Ha dedicat més de 50 anys a comprendre la biologia molecular de ɸ29 i va descobrir i caracteritzar la polimerasa del ɸ29, de molta utilitat per als estudis genòmics. El dimecres 18 d'abril passat va ser investida doctora 'honoris causa' a proposta de les Facultats de Ciències i de Biociències de la UAB.La bioquímica Margarita Salas, discípula de Severo Ochoa, inició un proyecto en el Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del CSIC sobre los bacteriófagos como modelo de estudio de la biología molecular de la morfogénesis, la replicación y la transcripción, después de una estancia en Estados Unidos. Ha dedicado más de 50 años a comprender la biología molecular de ɸ29 y descubrió y caracterizó la polimerasa del ɸ29, de gran utilidad para los estudios genómicos. El miércoles 18 de abril fue investida doctora 'honoris causa' a propuesta de las Facultades de Ciencias y de Biociencias de la UAB.Margarita Salas began a project at the CSIC Biological Research Centre on bacteriophages as a study model of molecular biology of morphogenesis, replication and transcription, after having worked in the United States with Severo Ochoa. Salas is the author of over 400 publications, 196 of which have been published in first-quartile journals
